Chapter 06 - You're Lying

Not only did he complete ten laps as Denzel ordered, Darrin even did more than twenty laps.

Nevertheless, his body still looked very fresh. And only a little sweat came out from his forehead, as if Darrin didn't do any strenuous activity.

"Next time, you should first see who the person you want to challenge is!"

Darrin said those words while showing a mocking smile on his face.

Meanwhile, the athletes who looked really exhausted just stared at Darrin with annoyed looks. "Just watch out! We won't forget you!"

Of course, what Darrin did left the students in the classroom speechless.

"Is that true? Not only did he manage to circle the field more than ten times! He was even faster than the athletes and beat them!"

They just remained silent while continuing to open their mouths wide.

Because the students suddenly became silent, it actually made Emily worried.

"Why are they silent? Is something happening to Darrin?"

With such worry, the girl couldn't sit in her seat any longer.

She immediately headed towards the crowd of students near the window.

At the same time, Darrin had reached the door.

"Prof. Hubbard, as you wished, I have circled the field more than ten times!"

Denzel, who had been busy with his phone all this time and paid no attention to what was happening on the field, was surprised to see Darrin return and stand in front of him.

Not only did he not look tired at all, the young man's face also still looked very fresh, as if he didn't lack any oxygen from doing the running.

Denzel lowered his glasses, observing Darrin's body from top to bottom.

Before Denzel could think of anything about Darrin, the young man spoke again. "Professor, if you don't believe me, you can ask them!"

Darrin pointed his hand towards the students who were gathered around.

"If I didn't do what you instructed, I'm willing to accept a much heavier punishment!" Darrin said with a smile on his face.

"Professor, he's lying!"

The tallest student who had been showing the most hatred towards Darrin since earlier opened his mouth.

"I didn't see him run! He was just sitting leisurely on the sidelines!"

Darrin looked at the young man, furrowing his brow.

"What did I do to this kid that he hates me so much?"

Before Darrin's surprise could fade, one by one, the other students also spoke up.

"That's right, Professor! He didn't run! He was just sitting there the whole time!"

"We're not lying! You can see he's not sweating at all!"

Almost the entire class testified against Darrin.

"Enough!"

Denzel shouted loudly without turning towards them.

"I knew it, you must be lying to me!"

Denzel glared angrily at Darrin.

"What else do you want to say? Didn't you hear what your classmates said? It's clear that you didn't carry out the punishment I ordered!"

"Silence!"

Denzel brought his palm to Darrin's face. Because the professor was much shorter than Darrin, he had to raise his hand up.

"Get out now! You're not allowed to attend my class anymore! You're suspended indefinitely!"

Darrin wanted to say something, but Denzel immediately closed the classroom door.

"Hahaha! What's wrong if he managed to beat those athletes?" the tallest student mocked to his friends.

"But don't you think it's very strange? How could that weakling Darrin defeat the athletes who have even competed in national tournaments?"

The tall student waved his hand in front of his friend.
