Chapter 05 - Not Even a Bit Tired

"You jerk! Do you want to die? If I don't beat you up today, don't call me an athlete!"

After shouting like that, one by one of them then increased their running speed.

Seeing what Darrin was doing, the students inside the classroom screamed.

"Fool! Does he dare to overtake them? He must have lost his mind!"

"He's about to be embarrassed by them!"

These students were actually a bit surprised because not only did Darrin not faint after running more than half of the field, the young man even dared to overtake the athletes, showing that he had much stronger stamina than they had estimated.

"Why are you all so panicked like that?"

One of the tallest students shouted.

"He's a delivery guy! Of course, he has a little energy! But look, I bet he won't be able to outrun the athletes!"

On the other hand, seeing the athletes starting to get excited, Darrin wasn't intimidated. Instead, he smiled happily.

"Good! Use all your energy and chase me!"

Darrin turned his body forward to run normally.

However, it didn't take long for these athletes to catch up with him.

Now the distance between them was only two meters.

"Look! Wasn't I right?" The tallest student shouted with joy seeing the athletes closing in on Darrin.

"That jerk is going to lose! You'll see!"

The athletes ran even faster so that the distance between them was less than one meter from Darrin.

"Hey, fool! Keep running! Because if you stop, maybe this will be the last day you can move your legs! Hahaha!"

They laughed very loudly as if they were competing for a moving trophy in front of them.

Darrin didn't say anything. He just remained silent while continuing to run.

"Hey, why are you silent? Don't tell me you're starting to feel like peeing in your pants? Hahaha!"

Still, Darrin said nothing.

"It seems like he's very scared!" The young man in the red shirt, who seemed to be the leader of the athletes, then spoke up. "No need to waste any more time! Let's just catch him!"

While stretching their arms forward, they also quickened their pace to catch Darrin.

However, unbeknownst to them, Darrin showed a cunning smile on his lips. "It seems I can't rely on them!"

Before their hands could touch Darrin's shirt, the young man increased his speed, causing their hands to keep reaching without touching him.

In the next two rounds, they continued to reach out their hands forward without being able to touch Darrin's shirt.

"Hey, why is this jerk so hard to catch?"

After that, in the next three rounds, the same thing still happened.

"Darn! I'm starting to run out of breath!"

Then in the ninth round, one by one of these athletes began to think about giving up.

"Why do I feel like I no longer have any energy left to chase him?"

One of the athletes then stopped.

Seeing one of their friends stop, almost all of the athletes also stopped in the end.

They were marathon athletes who relied more on stamina in running, not speed.

When they had to compete in sprints, or compete in speed, they might be able to run very fast. But that would only last for a maximum of ten rounds.

More than that, it was another matter.

Only the young man in the red shirt was now still chasing Darrin.

"Hehehe! It seems you are the strongest among them! Come on, try to catch me if you can!"

The young man in the red shirt continued to persist even though large beads of sweat began to flood his face and entire body. His breath also started to become irregular.

When Darrin passed through the route where the other athletes stopped, they tried to catch him by blocking his path.

However, even though they tried to catch him together, Darrin could still slip away from their grasp. And, of course, with ease!

In fact, even up to now, Darrin had only exerted half of his energy.

Not only did he not experience being out of breath, he also didn't feel tired at all.

"This system really gave me a new body! Even if I have to deliver packages by running, I won't get tired at all!"
