Though the woman did not know how Caesar used to be before, from her husband's words, she could get a gist.

But when she looked at Caesar, who was standing in front of her, she couldn't help but shudder from his gaze.

Such an intensely dark man, used to be called a 'sunny boy'? Is that word even suitable for this man?

One look from him, and the woman couldn't help but have her legs weakened with fear.

She had to use so much of her energy in order to have a strong front in front of him and ask him questions. If not for her love towards her husband, she would have long left this gloomy place and snuggled in her warm bed and drink a cup of hot coffee to get herself better.

This place is really cold. It almost felt like she was standing at the entrance of hell.

Her spine almost chilled up and yet she had to have such a strong front. It is really a taxing task for the poor woman.

She pursed her lips as she was unable to refute his words.

There was a real incident that directly countered her point. What else was there for her to speak?

But his point only made her even more scared. 'Please someone tell me that my husband is alive.'

"Why don't you answer?" Caesar did not see the change in the woman's emotions and asked her.

"A.. Answer? What should I answer?" The woman stuttered as she was too scared to even remember the question he asked.

Only after speaking once did she recall their earlier conversation. She slowly shook her head, "But.. that.. That was.. That was different."

She stuttered and yet tried to finish her sentence.

"Different? How is it different?" Caesar asked back.

Though neither of them worded that the topic was regarding the death of the woman, they were still clear about the conversation they were having.

But what could the woman say? It is not like she was the one who had killed his girlfriend. How could she know what was different and what was the same?

She knew neither the people who had killed his girlfriend nor did she know the reason for such an outrageous act they had committed.

Not only that, she also did not know why the law did not take any action after such a horrible thing had happened.

Hence she really did not have any answer to give Caesar.

But just because she did not have an answer to that one question, she had to lose her husband? It is not fair, right?

She shrunk her neck back and replied, "We don't know who killed her, right?"

"Oh? Then do you know who killed your husband?" Caesar asked back.

Yes, he still did not know the people who had killed her. But does that mean that whatever happened could be forgotten just like that?

Now no one knows who killed this woman's husband either. So what are they going to do?

The woman wanted to say that it was him who killed her husband but she stopped her words before they could reach her lips.

She then raised her shrunk neck and replied boldly, "Don't try to confuse me with your words. Just because you asked me such a twisted question, do you think that I would believe my husband is dead? In your dreams. Just show me my husband immediately. Do you understand?"

Caesar couldn't help but raise his eyebrows at this woman's boldness and also her strong thoughts that her husband was really not despite telling her so many times.

He doesn't want to argue with this woman who is as crazy as her husband. Whatever! Once he guides her to husband's body, she would have no other choice but to believe it, right?

Hence he continued walking forwards until he reached the spot where he had killed his neighbor.

But when he looked at the ground, he couldn't find any dead body like how he had left earlier.

'Did Hearthe used his dead body to play around?' He searched around to find any traces of the man's body or his cute daughter.

But there was no one.

"So? Where is my husband?" The woman couldn't wait any longer and asked him. 'Why is this crazy man looking around here?' She thought and couldn't help but look around herself too.

"Dear?" She called out loud to see if her husband would come out from any of the thick bushes around here.

Except for a faint breeze, there was no other sound.

"Hearthe," This time it was Caesar who called out for his daughter instead of her husband.

Though the woman did not know who Hearthe was, what his relationship with her was or why he was calling her, she calmly waited, thinking maybe that 'woman' would bring out her husband to her.
