“Where are we going now?” Rachel smiled as she looked at Nathan. he wanted to take her to see Elena so he would break the news to her there and also tell her that she was going to be working with her from there on.

Nathan still not saying anything, closed the door and looked at her. A smile on his face, he pulled her on the cheek, “You will see it when we get there. For now, I want you to buckle up and wait.”

Nathan fired up the engine, he was not going to waste time there.

Rachel sat still, not trying to think much about the whole thing. She knew that he was not going to do anything that would harm her, and he would always make sure that she was going to be happy.

Nathan drove the car to the hospital. Rachel was still puzzled, not knowing what was going to happen next, but she wanted to keep quiet and see what she was trying to show her.

Nathan got out of the car and opened the door for Rachel as both of them walked into the hospital hand in hand.

“So let me get something straight, you're telling me that there is a chance that she is part of the family that was one of the major heads in Caldor?” Cruz was looking at Ohera, he had learned something about Rachel and he could see a silver lining with her and there was a way that they would use it to hurt Nathan, or better yet take him down. “I found that out in a very peculiar way but then it isn’t something we should act on soon.” Ohera knew something wasn’t going to be right if they were going to rush in and use that to their advantage. “I know you want to make sure that there is nothing going to hold us back but listen to me, if word comes out that she is the last member of the Arias family then there will be major trouble in Caldor.” “How so?” Cruz asked looking at Ohera, he didn’t know what he meant when he was trying to tell him not to use it. It wasn’t something he would fight to ignore or even try to keep aside while he was looking at the bigger picture and trying t

“You now have the choice to work with her and make sure that you don’t upset her, or you can try to go against her.” Nathan moved forward looking at the men, his eyes were not going to let them think that he was joking. The men didn’t utter a single word, they knew what they were up against now and how it would be unwise for them to even try anything to move away. They didn’t even know who it was they were dealing with, he didn’t look like someone they would meet and he looked normal. “We understand sir, we are sorry for any problem we caused.” They bowed their heads, trying to see if they would get on his good side. Nathan stared at them for a while, not saying anything or even trying to push things further knowing that they wouldn’t even think of trying anything with Rachel. He turned back to look at her with a smile on his face. “I am sorry that I took a bit of time to handle this, but you can see that they aren’t going to be causing you problems again.” He smiled, taking h

Somewhere outside the party, far in the dark parts of Caldor, a silhouette of men in suits can be seen guarding a warehouse. It couldn't be seen what was going on inside the warehouse, and it was almost like they were pillars there. Inside the warehouse, Neo Ackerman was standing there with men seated around him, and something was biting him a bit. He knew the only reason why they would call him was to make sure that they would get a message through. “So you are telling me that Petoria was taken down. I will not take a joke!” One of the men roared, but Neo didn’t act like they were talking to him. He moved forward looking at them with a calm face trying to be sure that everything would be taken care of immediately. “Please calm down, there is no way we would have known that something like this would happen.” Neo was trying to make sure that there was nothing going to cause more problems for him and he was trying to put them at bay. He turned to look at one of his men, it was l

The men turned to look at each other, trying to see if they would understand what Nathan was talking about. They didn’t see him as the kind of man who would be a threat to them and they were not going to be scared of someone who wouldn’t even do a thing to them. “I don’t know what you think you have that would make it possible for you to even think of threatening us like that.” The shady-looking man said with a smirk on his face, trying to see if they could press Nathan down and not let him get the chance to breathe. Nathan pulled his phone out of his pocket, looking at them as they kept running their mouths like they were the bosses in everything. The phone rang for a while before it was answered from the other side. “Hello Nathan, is there any problem?” A voice could be heard from the other side. “Liu, I wanted to see if you would help me out with something important.” Nathan was looking at the two men in front of him, and the smile on his face widened. “Anything you want, I

Nathan was looking at the men, he didn’t plan on doing anything to them. It wasn’t on his radar to harm them in any way but he was getting many reasons to do so. “So Mr. Specter, I would advise that you don’t push this forward and leave us be…that’s if you don’t want your darling wife to lose what she has been working hard for and you know that there is no way you would want something like that for her.” The shady-looking man looked at Nathan. Nathan could see that his eyes showed he was a bit tired from everything that was going on. He didn’t want to let him get the best of things happening there, he wasn’t going to let Nathan go free from what he would be doing to Rachel. “If you’re thinking of telling me that you don’t like the way I am talking to your wife…So I will give you one option, leave us so we can have the meeting, also she seems to be the kind of woman who would want to listen to her husband.” The other man smiled, looking at Nathan. He had a nasty smile, it was cert

Meeting Centre— eastern part of Caldor. Nathan had taken Rachel there. He promised that he wouldn't say anything or even interfere unless they did something that would make him want to put his foot down and make sure that no harm or anything was making his wife feel uncomfortable. When they got out of the car, Nathan looked around, trying to see if he would spot anything out of the ordinary. But then it all felt a bit too good to be true. “I don’t like the air here,” he muttered while taking his wife’s hand. She clung to his arm trying to hold on to him, smiling. “Don’t worry, when I meet with the men from the Evory Plaza then we will be on our way so don’t worry about a thing.” She said to calm him down a bit, but he was not worried about the place they were going to but it was what would be waiting for them inside that he wanted to be wary of. He knew what men in power could do or how they were bound to act when they see someone they think they can intimidate. Th
