Down at the coffee shop in the southern district of Caldor, Neo was waiting for Rachel, but he didnt get even a glimpse of her, and it was beginning to bug him knowing that there was a good chance he wasnt going to get her in his trap. It wasnt known how much she knew about everything that seemed to be happening. He looked around; the scent of freshly brewed coffee beans and the aroma of well-baked pastries made it a pleasant place to be in. “So she isn't going to show up,” he muttered, stirring his coffee, a smirk on his face. His fists stiffened as he looked around, trying to get his head to clear up. “So was I played or was this all a ploy to see if I was going to come out?” he kept stirring the coffee, his countenance turned even darker, and there was no clear show of what was going on in his mind. “I can't believe that I almost fell for a trap that visible, there was no way for me not to see it.” Rachel was still going through the files, Carl was there helping her put things in order, and he wasnt even shocked that someone like Neo would want to pull something that would play Rachel into his hands. “If you had gone for this meeting, then there was a good chance that you wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.” He placed the file down, frantically running his hand on the table. He knew what was going to happen if Rachel hadn't gotten wind of what Neo had installed for her, and it was even clear that there was more to all of it. “This is confusing if you ask me,” he was trying to get his head wrapped around everything that was happening in front of him. “You know that there was no way that he would know what to do with you. I have checked all around and I know that he is not connected to Zauf in any way.” Rachel was now looking at Carl with a look of worry masked all over her.

Rachel hadn't gotten much rest from everything that was happening on her side at the moment, and knowing she was battling Neo Ackerman made things even worse. A meeting was set up so she could talk things through with him before trying to take anything from him. “I have to get my head through and make sure nothing is going to hold me down.” Rachel stared at the mirror, her hands slowly moving to her face as she started to feel it. A year and some months ago, she would have never imagined that there was going to be a chance that her face would be healed like this. It was almost like yesterday she would remember that her family was trying to get her sold. ‘she is the reason why our family doesn't have anyone good coming close. She is horrible, why on Earth would she let herself get burnt that badly!’ She couldn't forget Ariana's taunts and how they would always make her cry running to hide from them trying to make sure that there wasn't going to be a chance for them to hurt her.
