Nathan waited for them to bring him the machine that would be able to handle his card. He noticed that everyone in the crowd was quiet and didn't want to say anything.

The announcer was still looking at him. They were all wondering one thing, and it was clear from their faces what it was.

"Who on earth was this man? And why was he going this far to make sure that he would mess with the Nico family heir like that?"

When the machine came to them, the announcer looked at Nathan to see if he would see a sign of him trying to change his mind and do something else but then he could only see the same look on his face and it was only the smile that Nathan wore on.

"Here you go sir," The announcer didn't want to butt into something that he would not be able to explain but he was looking at Nathan trying to understand if he would see anything that would hint at what was going to happen next then he didn't see anything.

Nathan swiped the card, he was looking at the man waiting for the machi

Zauf was in a position that no one would have expected them to be in; they were now trying to make sure they played their cards to secure their stance as the nation that would rule. Klaus and Sirus were trying to make sure there wasn't anything that would put them in a tighter spot where they would have to look for a solution. Trying to take every unfair advantage to their own favor to make sure that no one would be able to take them down. "The man who I think I am is about to make sure that The Masked General is going to be contained." Sirus didn't want to make sure that there wasn't going to be any loop in their plan to make sure that Nathan was going to be contained and they wouldn't be worried about him. "I don't want you to make any promise that you won't be able to keep, I need to see that this man can make sure that there isn't going to be a thing that the Masked Tyrant can do to stop my plan."Klaus was on edge, his plan to take down the North was now being something that

Nathan didnt want to disclose a lot to Rachel; he knew that Carl was going through a rough patch, and it wasnt going to be easy for him since he had lost Luca again, and this time it was clear that his brother was fighting for his life. But then, in the midst of that thought, Nathan got an idea. It was something that was bothering him, and he needed to make sure that there wasnt going to be a chance for him if he let it “Rach, I was wondering.” Nathan was looking at his hand. He knew what he had to do to make sure that he wasn't going to lose anything. “Yeah,” Rachel was on her study desk, trying to make sure that she would get the work done. “I was thinking if I am going to make sure that there was no way for me to lose anything else that I have grown to be fond of. I need to make sure you aren't going to get lost.” Nathan’s words sent chills down Rachel’s spine. She paused her work to look at him with a strange look on her face, and she was a bit scared knowing it wasnt the k

FLASHBACK CONTINUED Carl made sure that there wasn't a chance for Luca even to get a clear hit on him, pushing him back as he kept launching assault after assault making sure that the man was pinned. Luca was firing offensives, but tried to use a defensive strike on him. But it wasn't something he would deliver when fighting Carl; he always made sure there wasn't a chance for him to get an opening.“Damn it!” Luca cursed as he kept his eyes on Carl, who seemed to be going blurry like he was some kind of demon trying to kill anything he spotted. Nathan stood far from them, trying not to interfere in Carl's fight knowing that there wasn't going to be a problem for him since he was one of the warriors he could boldly take down anyone who would come close to him. Taking a step back, he noticed something. The room was a bit off, and it wasn't like they were alone. Looking up, he saw it even though he wasn't seeing them clearly enough he still saw it, and it wasn't trying to be hidden

The Attack at the Petoria Gala would leave everyone on edge, knowing someone could take down the Petoria head like that. The headlines had things like; ‘The first son of the late Frank Petoria was killed the same way his father was killed!’ ‘Might be the same person, who knows. Is Caldor still a haven for the elite?!’ Nathan had made sure that, the moment he was about to take his heirloom, he would take Rachel and hand her over to Liu. She was with Liu and Elena the whole time, trying to understand what he was trying to do, but when she saw the news, there was no need to ask again. “I didn't know that there was a chance that you would kill him, but I have never been good at calculating odds like that, and you aren't the type of person they would be able to count on your predictability.” She joked, looking at Nathan as he placed the heirloom in a chest, then turned to Rachel, who stood there with a smile. “Well, I didn't know I would have to kill him, but when threatened, I nee

After everything that had happened, the party was a mess. When the police got there, they saw injured people lying around waiting for an ambulance to show up. And they also saw that over $15 million in damage was done. The entire place was turned upside down; it was almost like a fierce collision of monsters ready to end everything. Neo Ackerman and Marcus Xerves returned to the scene; they looked around with the police. Searching for the one thing that had brought them to the party in the first place. They rushed into the room where Wilson was supposed to take the heirloom, and they saw something that made it clear they would never get anywhere close to their plans. Wilson was lying on the floor, dead, with a cut on his neck, and his blood was splattered everywhere. "Fuck!" Neo kicked down the table in front of him; he wasn't even trying to hold his head up again. The police walked in to see what was happening, surprised to see that one of the prominent men in Caldor was killed

Carl managed to subdue Ohera; his hands were shaking as he stared at the unconscious body of the man, and he knew that there wasn't going to be much trouble coming from him. He turned to see that the party was now in chaos. Muttering a prayer, he knew there was a chance Rachel was in trouble while he was there facing Ohera, knowing that Nathan would be busy trying to deal with the Heirloom. "I'd better head back and...""Going to leave this early, brother?" A familiar voice rang out from behind. Carl paused, looking back to see if anyone was standing there, his mind running through many things he couldn't imagine. "It can't be, would you be here?!" He yelled, looking at Ohera. He knew they might have been here to take him. "If you are going to take him, then know that there isn't going to be a chance for you to...""No, no. I am not here for that deadweight; having him around will only put a hole in my plans, and that isn't why they sent me here, but it seems that I was a bit too
