The Martins Family Mansion was one of the finest houses in Caldor. The Martins were a middle-class family who enjoyed the wealth passed down to them.

The family head, Kelvin Martins, was trying to ensure that nothing would ruin his family image, and his daughter Rachel fit that category, with the grandfather’s help he wanted to make sure that Rachel would

“I don't know how on earth she is part of this family. She shouldn't be allowed to be anywhere close to this house after we find a horrible loser to take her from our hands.”

Elizabeth Martins scoffed. She was in the living room waiting for someone to walk in and tell them that they would want to marry Rachel. They were waiting for the results from the test they were holding.

“Mother, I think that she should be thrown out, or maybe we can make her one of the maids if we are not able to find someone to take her deformed self out of this house,” Aria said in a mocking voice. She was the pampered princess of the Martins household.

All the Family members in the Martins household were in attendance that day. They were waiting to hear the Grandfather’s decision, he was going to select a groom for his granddaughter from the fifteen men who stood in front of them.

Standing there on the huge balcony of the Martins Family stood the fifteen men who had reached the family’s evaluation. They were men of all ages, shapes, and sizes.

None of them there had any impressive background, well all except Nathan.

He had come in unnoticed because he made sure that no one in Caldor would know who he was.

But he was there to make sure that Rachel didn't fall into the wrong hands, he waited for their decision.

He knew that without Rachel, he would have died and he would never have become the Masked General.

He owed her a lot.

An old man walked out beside him was a man who looked like he was in his early forties, they were Rachel’s grandfather and Father.

They stopped in front of the fifteen men, they were going to do something to see if any of them would pass the last test and make sure that they were going to be the one for Rachel.

"Now all of you are here for the inheritance following this woman, I will her to the person who would be able to stand and look at her face." The man said as he turned to look in the opposite direction.

He stretched his hand, signaling for someone to come. The men looked up to see a woman dressed in a white veil coming out of the other side. She walked to the old man and stood by his side.

Ben turned to her, walked over, and opened her veil revealing her disfigured face. Immediately fourteen of the men showed disgust all except Nathan who couldn't help but notice Rachel’s red eyes.

‘Is that what she looks like?”

“I thought they said it was a minor injury?”

“She looks like an ogre,”

“If you know you can't bear looking at her face, please kindly leave,” Ben said, immediately they heard the words the men turned back and left. All of them left except Nathan who stood in his place.

The Martins were shocked to see there was someone who stood there not moving an inch.

“You, what is your name?” Ben asked when he was looking at the man in front of him.

“My name is Nathan Specter,” Nathan gave him a straight answer not trying to hide anything from him.

“Well Nathan you have seen her face, are you sure you would want to be with her?” Ben asked, looking at Nathan to get his reply.

“Yes,” Nathan said without even hesitating, he was not going to give them the chance to ask him another question.

Ben looked at the young man in front of him and shook his head. “She is yours then, I don't know why you would want to marry such a hideous person but that would be your concern and not mine.”

Ben turned and left Rachel standing there, his face showed that he was disappointed.

“This has to be an embarrassment, all the other families have their firstborn daughter married off to a prestigious family. Ours has to be the only family marrying off their daughter to a common man from the streets!” Elizabeth sounded more disappointed.

“Father, I have to go handle things at the company, I can't stand to watch this eyesore,” Marcus was looking at Rachel and he couldn't even look at his daughter properly.

None of the family members were going to look at Rachel like she was worth anything to them.

Rachel couldn't do anything but stand there in shame, her own family had sold her to a man so they would be able to take her hideous face out of the family.

‘So that does it? I have been sold out of this place,’ Rachel thought to herself when she saw a hand stretched out in front of her. Rachel looked up to see Nathan looking at her with a smile on his face.

“Give me your hand, I make sure that there is no way anyone would hurt you ever again,” Nathan said looking at Rachel.

She was a bit confused as to why the man in front of her was trying to put up an act, it was a bit confusing to her and she was trying to understand what he was trying to do.

She could only look at him at him and wonder what was going on in his mind. She took the hands of the man in front of her and immediately she felt his warm welcoming touch.

Rachel looked at Nathan, all she could see was a smile on his face.

“Come on, I will not let anyone harm you again.”

As the war across Honduras kept getting worse, Nathan and Liu were about to get their heads in order, and they would need to make sure that nothing was going to be placed on the other angle. They were at the building of the Trinity Organization, placing all their ideas together, trying to see if they would get something out of the whole situation, but then it felt like they were digging into something else. “I dont know how they can start pushing this without having all the heirlooms, it has to be something that they would have in their possession before they would be able to make movements like this.” Liu said, his eyes were still going through everything that they had found, and the only thing that they were being fed was that something wasn't the same, and they were going to be paying for something that didn't look normal. “They are trying to make sure that they throw me off balance, and for some reason, it looks like they are avoiding attacks here, knowing that there is no way

“I don't know if you managed to make something that you would have done in an orderly manner, but you managed to let her know that something was going on. It was going to be easy for us to get something done, but you decided that there was going to be something that would keep us far from it .” Elizabeth knew that she was going to have a hard time even thinking about the next move; they were not going to be able to hide anything anymore. Now they were dealing with the fact that Rachel knew they were trying to get her to marry Marcus. “I am telling you, mother, this can be fixed. It isn't going to be something that you would have to be worried about.” Luke had something in mind; they were not going to hold anything back if they were going to get her back in their favor. “And you keep trying to make her do something she isn't going to do no matter what you try,” A voice spoke up from behind. They turned to see Ariana standing there, with a look in her eyes. She wasn't happy to see h

Nathan had called Cece to be sure that what he was hearing about the attacks were not true, it was bound to be something that one had imagined but then, when the call connected and he saw the look on Cece's face it was enough for him to come to that conclusion. "How was that possible?" he asked, it was a surprise to see that there was something about the whole thing that didnt feel right. "I am not even sure that I can give you the answer to that, there had to be something we did to make it obvious that we were open for attacks." Cece gave him a reply, she was exhausted. the fight was still coming to them but she had to make sure that she would get enough rest before going out again. "They are looking for all the chances to make sure that the strengths of the glades will be tasted. There is a good chance that you are dealing with something small. What I know is that he would never do anything uncalculated; there has to be a reason he is trying hard to throw us off." Nathan was loo

Nathan knew that the man in front of them was the boss and from the looks of it, he was there to say something about what was going on. “Mr. Grill, what in the world are you doing here?!” The man left his fighting stance and turned to look at the man coming towards them, he was not going to let anything keep him from paying his respect. Grill was looking at Nathan and he had a smile on his face, he was not sure what to say but he knew that Nathan was the one who had taken down all the men and he did it in a way that no other man would be able to do. “I see you ran into them, but I wonder how Lawson's boy was able to make someone like you fight for him.” Grill was looking at Nathan, he was happy to see him there for some reason. Nathan on the other hand was confused and didn't know what he was going to say or do. “Why are you happy to see me? I took down your men like they were nothing but fodder.” Nathan wanted to know what was going on, he didn't know why but it felt like the ma

Nathan paused and turned to look at Lawrence, he could see something was going on in his head. He knew that they were going to thank him for what he did for them. Lawrence was looking at him and there was a look of joy on his face, he couldn't hide it but then he was trying his best to make sure that nothing would make it hard for him to even face Nathan again. “You saved me, and you also went out of your way to make sure that you would help me

In a run-down warehouse men were guarding it like there was huge treasure inside, inside the warehouse were three men who seemed uneasy. “Are you saying that some college student was the one who took the run on you? We were meant to take that girl down to the docks so she wouldn't cause trouble for us later!” One of the men was furious, bulging red veins were popping out of his neck as he looked at the men in front of him. The men were shaking with fear but they were not going to say anything that would make their boss think that shooting them was a good thing. “But sir this kid was tough, I have not seen anything like this in a long time and he was not even giving us the chance to think of our next move He was trying to kill us the moment he saw us.” The man tried to explain, he was looking at the boss with fear in his heart. The boss scoffed when he heard the man's words. He thought it was an excuse, he was looking at him with utter disgust. “You had guns, and yet you were all
