Early in the morning, Grandma called to say she wanted to see her grandson-in-law. Hannah, who hadn't slept all night, had no choice but to bite the bullet and drive over.

Seeing Richards eating food with great energy, Hannah felt a pang of resentment and even a little jealous of his excellent sleep quality.

Upon arriving at the Harrison family villa, the two were just about to enter to see the Harrison family matriarch when a drunken young man blocked the door.

The young man had messy hair, a decadent demeanor, and although his features were handsome, his eyes were bloodshot. Judging from his terrible mental state, he probably didn't sleep all night, just like Hannah.

Before the two could step forward, the young man suddenly swung a wine bottle and smashed it in front of Richards. Wine was spilled all over the floor, and glass shards flew everywhere.

"Hannah! If you dare bring this good-for-nothing boy into our family today, you're not my sister!" The young man suddenly stood up, his eyes filled with anger, even despair!

Hannah frowned and said coldly, "Damien, what's wrong with you?"

"Am I crazy?" Damien's muscular body blocked the doorway, his emotions running high. "Yesterday, the man I admired most in my life, General Richards Smiths, died fighting for his country! And yesterday too! The woman I admired most, Hannah! Married a good-for-nothing man who had been a cook for ten years. Does he think because he shares the same name with the General, he's of the same level?"

"You, Hannah, are dead in my heart too!" Damien said in a low, hoarse voice. He experienced too much stimulation that night. Damien completely broke down.

Seeing this scene, Richards felt a little sorry for the child. When he held his retirement ceremony at the secret base, several aloof female officers who came to see him off burst into tears.

Now that the two mountains in Damien's heart have collapsed, it's normal for him to have a bit of an overreaction, and Richards didn't blame him.

Richards drew a few circles on the ground with his toes, put his hands in his pockets, and inadvertently took two steps back, hiding behind Hannah.

Then he nudged Hannah with his elbow and whispered, "You handle it. I don't know how to hold back."

Upon seeing this, Damien cursed, "You damn bastard, have you no shame? Hiding behind a woman like a coward?! If you have the guts, come out here and I'll fight you one-on-one!"

Richards didn't move when called, but Hannah walked over decisively. The tyranny of his sister, accumulated over the years, made Damien a little apprehensive, but the effects of the alcohol were still there, and he could still hold on.

As soon as Hannah approached, she raised her hand and slapped Damien hard across the head.

This completely sobered Damien up, his face filled with lingering fear.

Standing at a distance, Richards was also startled. She hadn't been careful with her strength, but the other woman had only been heavy-handed.

Hannah said coldly. "Now, get out of here!"

Damien was so frightened that he turned tail and walked away. He was only acting crazy because he was drunk; he wouldn't dare to do it again once he was sober.

"Damien, let me give you some life advice," Richards said with a smile, his hands in his pockets. "Don't pretend, you'll just get hurt."

Damien cursed angrily, then turned and walked away.

Hannah looked at Richards's smug expression but didn't say anything.

After yesterday's encounter, she knew that Damien was no match for Richards, especially with his foul mouth. If he really started swearing, he might just make the hungover Damien do something drastic.

On the other hand, this marriage would only last three to five months at most, and this guy certainly didn't want to offend the entire Harrison family.

Ultimately, whether it was a marriage proposal or a divorce, Harold, Damien, and even their father who was rarely in Birmingham were all marginalized figures, and their attitudes were of no value whatsoever. Richards figured he was too lazy to waste his breath arguing with them.

The person that mattered was the grandmother.

"What does your grandma hate? What are her taboos?" On the way upstairs, Richards asked cautiously.

"No need to try too hard, just be yourself." Hannah walked forward, her expression indifferent. "I believe Grandma definitely won't like you."

"Then I'm relieved."

The two arrived at Grandma's room. Before Hannah could knock, Richards, with his hands in his pockets, kicked the door open and swaggered in.

"So, apart from you, none of them like me."Hannah didn't reply.Exhaling a breath of stale air, Richards turned over and said, "To be honest, the way you've put me in a very passive position, I don't even know how to manage this marriage anymore."Hannah's mature face was icy cold as she said in a chilling voice, "If you can't run it, then don't. Just divorce me, and we can go our separate ways.""Ca

She pushed open the door and came out. Her beautiful eyes merely glanced at the man before turning to Richards: "Is there something you need?""You know him?"
