Marco gently helped Jessica rest her back against the wall, plumping up the pillows to support her fragile frame. "I'll be back in no time," he said, his voice soft and reassuring, as he began to rise from his seat.

But Jessica's hand shot out, her fingers wrapping around his wrist, holding him back. Her eyes, cloudy with a mix of exhaustion and longing, locked onto Marco's, pleading with him. "Please, I want to see my daughter," she said, her voice cracking with emotion. "Can you bring her to me, or take me to her?"

Marco's heart twisted at the desperation in her voice, and he felt a pang of guilt for not being able to reunite her with Chloe sooner. He sat back down, taking Jessica's hand in his, his fingers intertwining with hers in a gentle grasp. "I'll see what I can do," he said, his voice filled with determination. "But for now, you need to rest."
