Miss Ava and Mr Jake went to the police station.

They spoke to the then commissioner of police, Commissioner Quin, to make changes to the original statement that was written by Mr Ethan.

The commissioner obliged after they negotiated the amount of money he was going to receive, which was paid on the spot.

The original statement written by Mr Ethan was swapped with a fake one that was written by the commissioner, and that was what was presented to the court by the police.

Mr Jake then went to see the pathologist at the mortuary and again bribed them to delay the reports of the autopsy.

He did not succeed. The pathologist released the results to the court, but they were intercepted by the secretary, who had also been bought by Mr Jake.

The autopsy results were never released to the court.

Mr Jake then went ahead to see the lawyer assigned to Mr Ethan.

He again bribed him to ensure that he did not defend Mr Ethan properly but instead pleaded guilty to all the charges levell
