Getting out of the car, Sebastian walked in circles. Before him was a large villa located in the VIP block of Ecuador Valley. According to the information he had gotten from his assistant, this villa was the largest and most luxurious in the area.

“Master, is there anything else you want from me?” asked a middle-aged, well-built man beside him.

“That’s it, Thomas. Thank you for your help.” Sebastian nodded at his assistant.

“Very well, master. If you need any assistance whatsoever, please contact me at the phone number I have provided to you. Have a good night.” Thomas bowed once before getting into the car and driving away.

Once he was alone, Sebastian let out a long breath.

“I find it hard to believe that this wasn’t a dream,” he said. “The people at Skyzone Company just told me that I’m the new owner of the company. All the paperwork regarding the transfer of ownership is with me now.”

Sebastian began to think about the ‘God’s Legacy’ system he had gotten a few hours ago. Was that what caused things to turn out this way?

“System, can you give me a brief description of Skyzone Company?”

Ding!

[From the information we’ve gathered, Skyzone Company is a corporation involved in the property. Their reach is not limited to this country, they also have a significant presence overseas. Skyzone Company’s HQ is located in Luxington Hill, making it the largest company in the city. You, Sebastian Cole, are the current owner of Skyzone Company].

“Who was the previous owner?” asked Sebastian once again.

[The information about the previous owner is still locked. You have to find out about it.]

“Locked? What the hell.”

Sebastian chose to stop thinking about it, at least for tonight. He had to get some rest.

Even though all the wounds on his body had recovered, he was still mentally shaken when he saw his beloved engaged to another guy.

Being a young man, it was natural for Sebastian to be hurt by the incident. He still needed some time to recover.

Sebastian opened the villa door with the card he had gotten from Thomas. His hands were shaking slightly in disbelief.

Stepping inside, Sebastian couldn’t help but gulp as he looked around. All the interiors inside this villa were luxurious and over-the-top.

“Whoever owned this villa before, I bet he never slept on the streets.”

Sebastian climbed the half-spiral staircase to get to the second floor. He immediately entered one of the spacious rooms, before laying down on the bed.

“Damn! This mattress is too soft!”

Sebastian dropped the blanket onto the floor and slept there. Smiling faintly, the young man felt comfortable enough to take him to dreamland.

***

In the morning, Sebastian was awakened by something tapping him on the cheek.

When he opened his eyes, Sebastian jumped in surprise. What he saw was completely unbelievable!

“You… you… who are you?!”

Sebastian pointed breathlessly at the butterfly-sized girl hovering in front of him.

“I’m Mia, your assistant from heaven!” The little girl said it with such enthusiasm, she floated up to an inch in front of Sebastian’s face. “Master, you have a very handsome face.”

Sebastian crawled backward, his whole body shuddering in horror. “W-what do you mean by an assistant from heaven?”

“Since you are a descendant of a god, Mia came to provide service to you.” The little girl flew closer and closer, even now daring to touch Sebastian’s nose.

“Stay away!” Sebastian waved his hand, trying to shoo Mia away.

“Ouch-ouch! M-master… you are so evil!”

Sebastian didn’t care about her protests, he only rose to his feet and prepared to take a shower.

“Master, where are you going?” Mia flew up to follow him from behind.

With an annoyed look on his face, Sebastian turned around and gave Mia a sharp look. “I don’t know if you’re a fairy, a butterfly, or a ghost! But stay away from me!”

This time, it seemed like Sebastian’s words really hurt Mia. She moved backward with a hint of disappointment on her face.

“Master, it seems you don’t like Mia. I’ll go back to heaven and propose a change of assistant for master.”

Mia turned and flew away, but just then Sebastian called her back.

“Wait, you can’t go,” he said. “It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s just hard for me to accept this whole miracle without no one explaining anything to me.”

Mia gave Sebastian a pitying look, before saying, “Master, I understand you. Mia will explain some matters concerning your future missions. Mia will not let you be in confusion for long. That’s what Mia is here for.”

“Very good then.” Sebastian smiled as he nodded. “I’m going to take a shower, then we’ll talk.”

After finishing his shower and putting on better clothes, Sebastian invited Mia to talk in the front room.

“Well, now you can say what you need to say, Mia,” he said.

“Of course, master.” Mia cleared her throat a few times before explaining at length.

“As you already know, you are a descendant of a god. Charles Cole is not your biological father, he just adopted you as his son in an orphanage. He did that because he was declared barren, but he and his wife still wanted to have a son.

“And to be clear, the caretakers of the orphanage only found you on their porch, assuming that you were the child of an illicit relationship. But actually, you’re the child of a god in heaven! Hehe, isn’t that cool?”

Sebastian suddenly raised one hand. “Wait a minute here, was I banished by a god?”

“Uh, that’s…” Mia scratched her head, visibly struggling to answer Sebastian’s question. “Better, we don’t need to discuss that now, master. Mia will explain about the mission you have to do next.”

“So, the first thing: you currently have unlimited wealth. You can buy anything you want—anything at all! But, you must make sure that all of it will be useful for your mission. If you don’t do that, points will be deducted and you might lose some privileges.

“Your mission is to increase your influence in this world by any means necessary! The more powerful you are, the more the gods will be pleased. You know, lately, the gods have been losing their influence over the earth,” Mia explained. “No matter how much people ridicule you, as long as you are famous, you must declare yourself as a son of heaven.

“The more influential you are, the more you get ‘Heavenly Records’. It’s a kind of point that you can exchange for great skills that you might only be able to get in your dreams.

“To accomplish this mission and become famous, you can use your own methods; become a celebrity, become a motivator, expand your business, or whatever. But one thing: make sure that many people will remember you as Sebastian Cole, Son of Heaven! This is the only way to get Heavenly Records,” Mia explained.

Yamato shot Sebastian a sharp, skeptical glance. "My guys mentioned witnessing you moving at an unreasonable speed like you've got superpowers straight out of a superhero flick."With a composed smile, Sebastian responded, "It could be a trick of the eyes. "We're going to make sure there are witnesses for this showdown. I'll have some of my guys and yours in this room."Sebastian nodded in understanding, though inwardly, he felt increasingly pinched.
