Ava after cleaning her stained clothes, looked up to see Lorenzo standing in front of them.

Both of them were shocked as soon as they saw Lorenzo they had least expected to run into Lorenzo especially in a place like this.

Evan had taken Ava to the restaurant for a quick breakfast before they headed out to go do some luxurious items. However, they ahd never expected that a man like Lorenzo would come to dine here.

Ava's brows immediately furrowed in anger and irritation as she saw Lorenzo.

“What are you doing here Lorenzo?” She spat in anger.

Lorenzo's heart was instantly filled with pain as she saw Ava's irritated expression. She looked at him with spite as if they had never even dated.

“Didn't you hear me, Enzo? What the hell are you doing here?” she asked in anger as she stared at Lorenzo.

Her loud voice caught people's attention as they stared to look at what was going on.

“What do you mean what am I doing here? Are you the owner of this building? Must I report to you before stepping in?” Lorenzo replied coldly.

Although he was hurt to see them together looking like a lovey dovey couple, he didn't want to draw more attention to what is already going on. He just wanted them to leave him alone.

Ava had an irritated look on her face, she clearly did not like ghe indifference tone on Lorenzo. As she opened her mouth to talk.

A waitress interuppted her, carrying Lorenzo’s tray of food, “Mr. Lorenzo, your breakfast is ready.”

Everyone turned to look at her, as soon as she saw the mess of the fruit juice and gge tension in the air, she froze mid step.

“You bought an executive breakfast?” Ava blurted out with disbelief.

Her eyes dropped to the tray in the waitress’s hands- the neatly arranged platter. It was the most expensive item on the menu. She knew that because Evan had bought it for her several times.

Lorenzo slipped his hands into his pockets, calmly “Is there a problem with that?” he asked flatly.

Ava added in bitterness “Since when could a peasant like you afford such a meal?”

Lorenzo gritted his teeth, he didn't like the tone Ava was using on him, afterall, he is already minding his business and left her alone.

“Please, I don't want any trouble, excuse me.” Lorenzo said as he began to walk away.

However, he barely took two steps when Evan dragged him by the arm and pulled him back roughly, “Where do you think you are going you pathetic bastard” he cursed out Loud. “When my woman is talking to you, you stand and listen.”

At this point, people were alreayd bringing out their phones to record the drama.

Evan and Ava upon seeing that people are paying attentuon to what is going on, decide to humiliate Lorenzo publicly.

Lorenzo frowned but stayed calm, he wanted to see what those pathetic couples wanted to do this time around.

“Can't you staffs see that he is poor? He can't even afford his own food. See how lean he is” she said in spite as she looked at Enzo from head to toe.

The waitress who was still standing and holding the tray of food, looked at Enzo from head to toe, paying keen attention to his worn out sneakers, his old leather wristwatch and his worn out bag-back.

Clearly she could see that Lorenzo is poor, however, he had confidently paid for the food with his card and that confuses her.

Ava seeing that the waitress was still in doubt ans clearly surveying him said, “Do you think he can afford meals like this? I am not trying to bad mouth him but.” She said turning to the people with a louder voice, “I know him personally everyone. He can't afford to feed himself, he eats at the food bus truck over there, the ones their meals only cost $4” she spat.

Everyone gasped in shock at what she ass saying, people began to whisper loudly

“So why is a guy like that dinning over here?”

“Do you think he stole the money?

“What the hell is going on.”

Although, who was paying attention finally spoke out, “I don't kmow what you are talking about ma'am. But this young man right here had ordered our most expensive meal and he had paid with his black card.”

Ava’s face stiffened instantly.

“Black card?” she repeated, her voice losing a bit of its earlier sharpness.
