Chapter 11 - Thrown Into a Strange Dimension

"Argh, my head!" I groaned in pain as I tried to remember the cube. I know which cube they're referring to, but suddenly I'm having difficulty remembering. My head hurts like it was hit by something hard.

What exactly happened to me?

"Answer me quickly!"

"I'm trying to remember that!" said Riko, panicky.

"So it's true that you have stolen the cube!"

"No! No! Trust me! I don't know anything about God's Cube!" Riko looked at all the creatures around him seriously.

He felt cornered to trembling because many half-animal humans of various species surrounded him and looked like they wanted to tear him to pieces.

The pleasure was instantly gone. Riko didn't know whether to be happy or scared. Honestly, he was glad that his opinion had been proven right. However, on the other hand, he was afraid because the mythological creature was not friendly.

"If you still don't want to confess, we will kill you!"

They compactly took out fireballs from their hands and mouths and were about to attack Riko.

Riko was stunned. "What are you guys going to do?! Please don't hurt me! I have nothing to do with all this!" He was sure that the glowing orbs had magical powers.

'Shit! How can I escape from them?'

Again and again, bad luck always befalls Riko wherever he goes. This time, Riko couldn't escape due to being surrounded.

"Answer us before we kill you!"

"I have spoken honestly that I am not an accomplice from the kingdom as you accuse me of! So, please don't kill me! I don't know anything about your problem! I'm just a human who accidentally entered your country!" Riko explained with a frightened look.

"You are a liar!"

"Just kill him! Just kill him!" The commotion attracted the attention of all the creatures in the market, so they came in droves to intimidate Riko.

"You must die, Bastard Devil!"

"Wait! Don't kill him!" A bat-human figure came over to Riko with an interrogative look.

They immediately bowed respectfully at the Bat Demon.

'Oh, Shit! What other creature is that!'

"Then, what is your main purpose in coming here if you don't intend to steal God's Cube? Be honest about your goals! Because humans like you have never been seen in our country."

"No further ado, Commander Cravez! Just kill him!!"

"Stop it! Don't kill him!" Another bird-winged human immediately approached Riko with a friendly smile. "Don't kill him! He is our special guest! He seems like a good creature! Just look at his handsome and innocent face!"

Riko held his breath when the bird demon woman caressed his face while smiling seductively. Riko didn't dare to scream loudly or brush away the woman's hand; that would make them kill her.

Cravez rolled his eyes lazily. "We really don't need the opinion of a coquette like you. Because you will definitely think all men have a good heart if they have a handsome face," he sneered.

"It's up to me what to think! That is none of your business! Just say you're jealous because you don't have a handsome face like this foreigner!" The beautiful woman glared at Cravez sharply, then smiled sweetly at Riko. "Geez! I almost forgot! We haven't met yet. Introduce, my name is Reyna. What's your name?"

Riko stared in horror at the outstretched hand. Riko is afraid that shaking hands with this foreign woman will kill him. Maybe there is a hidden deadly power that can eliminate it.

"Why are you silent?" The woman pursed her lips sadly.

"Ri-Riko." Riko shook Reyna's hand awkwardly. Inevitably, he must shake hands if he still wants to live.

"You look foreign. We've never even seen a creature like you. Where are you from?"

"I-I… I'm just confused as to why I came here. Maybe a mysterious light is emitting so that I was thrown here," Riko was forced to answer honestly with a trembling voice.

"Blue light?! You mean that Cube's light?!"

"So you're the Cube's thief?!"

"How could you rob him?!"

The creatures growled in rage.

"It's not what I meant!" Riko is at a loss.

'Shit! I have been misspoken!'

"Where is the Cube?! Answer me quickly!"

"I don't know!"

Cravez drew his sword and pointed it at Riko's neck. "Quickly get us where you are from before I kill you!"

"I-I don't know how to get back to where I came from!"

"Don't make excuses! Don't you know how vicious we are?!"

"Trust me! I really do not know!"

"Don't lie!" Cravez his sword to kill Riko, but Reyna grabs it immediately.

"Don't kill him, Big Brother! We will about to lose a clue!"

"Shut up!" Cravez snapped.

"Stop being stupid, Commander! This time, I agree with Reyna." The centipede demon interrupted. "We'd better get him home and serve him some food."

"Plus, he's terrified to see us and looks badly hurt," Reyna suggested.

Cravez snorted indignantly. "Whatever, you guys!"

Riko sat on a stone chair with a feeling of fear and alertness. Now he was at Reyna's house, which was at the top of the mountain. Luckily, he was now alone with Reyna. There were no more spooky creatures that wanted to kill him earlier.

At least Reyna was more sociable and kinder to Riko, so he didn't have to worry about anything.

"How can you find the Cube guarded by soldiers who died in the war 1000 years ago?" The bird demon replied.

"What do you mean?" Riko asked stiffly.

Reyna placed the teaspoon on the table after she finished stirring the drink, then passed it to Riko. "Do you know about God's Cube?"

With hesitation, Riko accepted the teacup made from coconut shells. The young man shook his head slowly. "N-no."

"Let me explain."

Riko frowned in surprise. Reyna's demeanor suddenly looked very different from the first meeting. At that time, Reyna seemed very cheerful, but now she has turned into a gloomy woman.

Meanwhile, King Draco was incessantly provoking Edward to eliminate King Morwen without getting his own hands dirty. He wanted to make Edward the executioner for King Morwen's death."What are you waiting for, kill him immediately! Don't you hate Morwen too much?" Draco urged impatiently. On the other hand, he also did not like Draco who was his father, even so he was also unlikely to kill his own father.King Morwen's breathing was labored against the excruciating tightness. He knew these two villains had equally bad personalities. Fighting one alone would have left him dying, let alone Edward who was no different from Draco in terms of cruelty.
