Samuel's breath itt was coming fast. His pounding chest was making him uncomfortable. Samuel squeezed his hands, which were wet with sweat.

The nearly 50-year-old man in front of Samuel looked at him with displeasure. "Uncle, I really need your help. Can you lend me 2 million dollars?"

"I will definitely return it.” Samuel said politely, hoping that his uncle would help him.

But Brian's gaze changed. "What? Two million dollars? Are you out of your mind? That's a huge amount of money, and how are you going to pay it back later." He began to look down on Samuel.

He scrutinized Samuel's unpromising appearance. He had even found out that Samuel had gone bankrupt and was only working at a restaurant for a low salary.

"Go away and don't appear before me. There is no money for you. You're working for a small salary, you won't be able to pay it back. You poor bastard." Brian insulted him.

Samuel didn't just give up hope. His uncle was the only one he expected to help him now. Samuel approached with a pleading face. "Uncle, I have to get the two million dollars, or Fiona and I will split up," he explained in detail everything that happened.

There was no concern in his uncle's heart. Instead, he wanted to laugh at the foolish Samuel. "You should realize yourself. You don't deserve your wife. Just divorce her and let her marry a rich man. You're just a burden to her."

Samuel shook his head. "I can't do that, uncle. I will not part with my wife. I just want you to lend me the money."

His uncle irritably clenched his fist. "To hell with all that, I don't care and I won't lend you any money. Go away, there's no money for you!" He pointed towards the fence, asking Samuel to leave his house immediately.

The anger in Samuel's heart surfaced. He gave his uncle a sharp look. "Back then, you even begged and borrowed money when I still had a lot of inheritance." Samuel squeezed his uncle's hand as he emphasized that point. And now you insult me and refuse to help me?"

"My fortune ran out just to help you guys." Samuel reminded with a shout.

Brian's eyes filled with anger. "Stop talking nonsense, you even have a small inheritance. Don't talk as if we're living on that small inheritance."

"Go away. Your arrival will only jinx my house. Don't let your poverty leave a bad mark on me." Brian pointed contemptuously at Samuel's face. "You're shameless. Go away!" His eyes bulged perfectly.

Samuel gave him a sharp glare. All the insults hurt him deeply. "Just watch, I'll never help you again!" Samuel emphasized strongly.

He immediately turned his body around, stepping out with a feeling of disappointment.

He let out his breath. This time, he didn't know where to set foot to get two million dollars, and he didn't want to part with Fiona.

His body felt weak, but he wouldn't just give up. He would maintain his relationship with his wife. He knew that Fiona was also desperate for his return.

Samuel walked languidly, but unintentionally, his eyes fell on an old man walking in front of him while another car drove from the opposite direction.

The loud honking sound went completely unnoticed by the man. Samuel knew this was going to be bad.

Samuel didn't let him. He ran and immediately pulled the man's body until they rolled on the ground.

The man was so shocked that he realized the car had almost hit him.

"Are you alright, sir?" Samuel helped the old man to get up. He felt a tremor in the old man's hand.

With a messy breath, the man looked up at him. He forced a smile and nodded. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for helping me."

"Come on I'll take you home." Samuel got up and helped him to stand.

The man nodded. He was having trouble standing up. "My legs are shaking. It makes it difficult for me to walk," he said.

Samuel realized that. He unhesitatingly squatted against the man's body. "Get on my back, I'll help you."

Samuel had carried the man's body and walked for twenty minutes. But he did not reach his house immediately.

"Is it still far away? Where is your house?" Samuel asked, his breathing a little heavy.

"No, it's not. We're almost there. That's my house." The man pointed to a house not far away.

Samuel nodded and continued walking faster. It didn't take long for him to arrive. He was in front of the house, a small house with faded paint. Even the tall grass in front of the house made it obvious that the house was not maintained enough.

"I live here, come in." The old man spoke softly.

It was almost unbelievable how someone could live in such a shabby place. Samuel glanced at the old man in his arms. "Is it true that you live here?"

The man nodded his head. "Yes, this is my house. We can come in now."

Samuel hesitated for a few seconds before finally choosing to bring the old man inside. As the door of the house opened, there was a loud creaking sound, and even the thick dust made him unable to breathe freely.

When he stepped foot in the house, Samuel saw an even more shocking sight: inside, it was much gloomier than he had imagined.

Samuel frowned, knowing that the house was extraordinary—utterly unkempt. Perhaps because he was old, it was challenging to take care of her, and Samuel felt a little sorry for him living alone.

"Thank you, for helping me again. Sit down." The man patted the sofa by his side.

Samuel nodded and sat next to the man. After talking for a while, he suddenly saw a man and a woman wearing black coming out of the man's house.

Previously, Samuel assumed that the old man only lived alone. Samuel didn't expect anyone else to be in the house at all. But the stern faces and gazes of the two made Samuel even more wary.

Both of their gazes were fixed on Samuel. One of them asked, "Are you, Mr. Samuel?"

Samuel's brow furrowed. This was their first meeting. Even before that, Samuel had not said anything about his identity or how they knew it. A worry made his heart skip a beat, and he wondered if they had set him up.

The old man beside him noticed Samuel's anxiety, put a hand on Samuel's leg, and said, "Take it easy. Actually, we're from the ORB."

"ORB?" Samuel repeated. He had never heard of it.

The old man nodded his head. "Yes, that is the organization I founded. An organization based on something that makes no sense, but is a reality."

Samuel was getting more and more clueless. He just listened in confusion.

"Yes, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Justin Mathis." He smiled as he said it.

Justin shifted his body, looking at Samuel's face seriously.

"You're the man who has the criteria and the fit that we want as the heir to everything."

Samuel was filled with confusion. He was getting more and more clueless. He furrowed his brow without removing his gaze from Justin. "What do you mean?"

Justin let out his breath. He placed his hands on Samuel's shoulders. Showing complete seriousness. "You will be the heir to the Mathis family and also the heir to the unexpected."

Samuel wondered if they were crazy people. In his opinion, it was impossible. He looked at Justin closely, realizing he might be trying to drag him into a cult.

Justin lowered his hand, watching Samuel hesitate. "Do you remember what happened to you two days ago?"

The question left Samuel feeling confused. He furrowed his brow. Two days ago, he felt like he had a bad dream. Did that man also know about the nightmare when he sat down and was crushed by a large piece of concrete? Even then, he felt like he was going to die.

Before Samuel could say anything to Justin, the old man spoke, "You were already dying from the concrete." He paused the sentence with an exhale. "It just so happened that we were there and I decided to give you an injection from decades of research."

This was a shock to Samuel. He hadn't even told Justin about his dream feelings, but he knew the details.

"It wasn't a dream? So is it really real?" he muttered.

"The drug I injected you with had such a reaction that I decided that you would become someone from the ORB and also an heir." Justin patted Samuel on the shoulder. "You qualify for everything that fits the criteria."

Semual tried to recall what had happened to him earlier. He vividly recalled that he heard footsteps and two people talking in his second consciousness. He immediately realized everything. His mouth fell open with wide eyes. "So it's really true?"

Justin lowered his hand, putting it behind his back. He nodded slowly. "Yes, it was a reality. You almost died that time."

"Have you been feeling smarter and stronger lately?" He looked at Samuel intensely.

Samuel was silent, unable to answer. But he realized that something different was happening to him. It was evident when he became stronger when dealing with some thugs who had obstructed his wife.

This, however, was still very doubtful. He wondered if such a thing could really happen in this world.

Justin realized Samuel's doubt. He took out a black card and showed it to Samuel, which caught Samuel's attention.

Samuel's brow furrowed, staring at the black card before him. "What is this?

"This is the Black card, and it will be yours." Justin placed the Black card on Samuel's lap.

Samuel's gaze was still fixed on the black card. He knew the black card was like in the movies; only the rich and extraordinary could have it. Knowing that fact, he knew that Justin was no ordinary man.

Before he could say anything, he held out his hand, and he handed him some documents. It was shocking when Justin put all the documents in Samuel's hands.

Samuel could see many lists of big companies in the documents. He looked up at Justin. "What's this?"

Justin had a smile on his face. "This will all be yours."

Samuel was filled with confusion. His eyes moved over the pile of documents.

"You need the money to keep your wife, don't you?" he smiled characteristically. Folding one leg. "And I need an heir."

Samuel was so surprised that he squeezed his hand tightly. He wondered how they knew all that. Had they been spying on him all along? This caused him great worry.

"Isn't this the best solution? And just accept what I'm offering. You have nothing to lose. Because you will become an heir." He said it with a serious look at Samuel.
