The Power of The Dominant Husband

Chapter 3

The two men in black stared at Samuel's arrival with anger. But they realized that Samuel's small body would not be able to defeat them. 

Both men laughed loudly. Thinking that Samuel had come foolishly. 

They looked at Samuel with disdain, moving their eyes up and down his body, thinking that he was too bold. 

One of the men pointed at Samuel and spoke, "Go away and stay out of our business."

"Your shouting won't be able to bully us. Do you think we are children?" the man with a tattoo on his left arm spoke loudly. The look in his eyes was frightening. 

Fiona felt anxious about her husband's arrival. She realized that her husband's thin body would not be able to defeat the two thugs. 

Fiona didn't want anything bad to happen or the problem to escalate, so she thought quickly about how to solve it. 

Fiona looked boldly at the two thugs. "I'll give you some money, but get out of here."

Just as Fiona was about to take the money from her bag, Samuel suddenly stopped her hand.  He shook his head. "You don't have to do that."

Fiona was silent, staring at Samuel's courage. But she knew it would be bad. 

But before Fiona could say anything, Samuel spoke again, "Calm down, I can solve them."

Samuel's words sparked the anger of the two thugs. Thinking that Samuel had underestimated him, both of them immediately put on a scary face, pointing at Samuel with anger. "How dare you say that!"

The shout echoed in the open room. They stared at each other before, finally, one spoke, "Finish him!"

The man nodded. Then, he quickly attacked Samuel. 

The man punched Samuel, but to his surprise, it didn't hit him. Samuel aimed his hand for the rest and gave the man a decisive blow. 

In his anger, he remembered that the man was about to touch his wife's body, causing an extraordinary outburst of emotion. Samuel delivered such a mighty blow that one blow knocked the man, who was twice his size, to the ground immediately. 

That made his partner very surprised. "Damn it! I'll kill you!"

He also attacked Samuel, but something surprising happened again. Samuel deflected the man's large hand and delivered a powerful kick. The vast body bounced backward and fell to the floor, unconscious. 

Samuel looked down at the two men who had both fallen beneath him. This was quite a shock to him. He looked at his empty hands. Samuel did not expect that he would be able to defeat the two big men so easily and quickly. 

Samuel stared at his hands for a while. "I'm so strong. How is this possible?"

Meanwhile, Fiona was in a panic. Fear made her body tremble. And for the first time, she saw her husband dealing with the thugs extraordinarily. But Samuel's demeanor worried her. 

Fiona quickly grabbed Samuel's hand. She pulled him further away. Fiona couldn't even calm down at the moment. 

After a few steps further, she looked at Samuel with annoyance. "What have you done?"

Fiona let go of Samuel's hand; this time, she rubbed her face with worry. Afterward, she looked back at Samuel with annoyance. "Do you realize what you're doing?"

"You've done a dangerous thing. Why didn't you ever listen to me?" Fiona shouted in front of Samuel. Knowing that this would cause more trouble. 

"You should have let me give them the money. And all the problems would have been solved. But lo and behold, you made the problem bigger." This time, she looked at Samuel with a sharp gaze. "You're really stubborn. Are you so stupid that you don't want to listen to me even a little?"

Before allowing Samuel to answer, Fiona grabbed his hand again and led him further away. 

Samuel tried to hold Fiona's hand, but his anger made Fiona not want to hear anything from her husband. 

By now, they had arrived home. There was no conversation on the way home, but when they had just entered the house, Fiona was greeted by her mother. 

"Fiona, have you come?" Ella smiled widely, putting on a sweet and pleasant face. 

Fiona just nodded her head without saying anything. She was still in a fury. Fiona thought about going straight into her room, but at that moment, another man appeared inside her house. 

The man stood right beside Ella, making the old woman smile. She knew this would be a surprise for her daughter. 

Fiona looked at the man with a furrowed brow. But afterward, she looked back at her mother. "Who is he?

"Are you forgetting him? He is Jerico and has come to propose to you." Ella said that with excitement. She really hoped that Fiona would agree and accept Jerico's proposal. 

Fiona directed her gaze to Jerico, and the man extended his hand to her. "I've come to propose to you right here. Will you marry me?"

This was a shock to Fiona. She gave him a sharp look. A man was presumptuously proposing to her as she stood beside her husband. 

Fiona shook her head. "I already have a husband." She said it firmly. She even glanced at Samuel at this moment. 

Jerico smiled sarcastically at that. He also glanced at Samuel, realizing that the man looked useless. Even his ordinary appearance seemed incompatible with Fiona. 

Jerico stepped a little closer. "That's not a problem at all. You can divorce him and marry me." He said it lightly. 

Fiona shook her head again. She didn't even know Jerico that well. And, of course, she wouldn't accept the proposal. "I won't do it."

Samuel stared at Jerico with anger. His hands were clenched tightly into fists. "How dare you come and want to take away my wife. You are a shameless man."

Jerico looked at Samuel sarcastically. His words were able to offend Jerico and made the man overcome with anger. "Shut your mouth. You don't even deserve to be with Fiona." he patted his chest, showing his position. "I'm better suited to be with your wife."

Jerico looked at Fiona.  "Think about this better. Your life will be even more secure with me than this loser." Jerico deliberately pushed Samuel's body. 

But all of a sudden, Samuel caught Jerico's hand and squeezed it hard. Jerico felt a tremendous tension. Samuel's hand squeeze was able to make his bones feel very painful. 

Jerico felt an unusual attack. Although Samuel only squeezed his hand, he felt an intense pressure there. 

"Leave before I really kill you!" Samuel emphasized his sentence. That made Jerico even more depressed.

Jerico was really upset about this situation. He wanted to put up a fight, but he realized that Samuel had tremendous strength. It was evident from the force he used to get there. He felt his whole body hurt a lot. 

"Just watch, I'll give you your comeuppance." Jerico withdrew his hand and quickly left. 

Ella was very surprised by this. Her eyes rounded at Jerico's departure. "Hey, wait. Don't take his word for it. He's just trash, and you shouldn't go," Ella shouted, trying to stop Jerico. 

But the man didn't want to hear it. He walked away and got into his car. After a while, he left the house. 

This angered Ella even more. She gave Samuel a glare, assuming it was his fault. 

"Everything fell apart because of you, damn it. You're such a useless man."

Ella's gaze also fell on Fiona. "Why did you have to turn him down? He even came up with two million dollars to propose to you. And now, he's gone, and I've lost that money." Ella was on the verge of tears at this point. 

She had envisioned many things with those two million dollars, but now they had messed everything up. 

Fiona was shocked by her mother's words. Her eyes were perfectly rounded. "Mom, you shouldn't have done that. This is too much."

Samuel also looked surprised. Hearing the amount mentioned, Samuel knew it was a fantastic amount for him. And he didn't have that kind of money. Even in his lifetime, he would find it difficult to get it. 

Meanwhile, Ella was still giving her eyes to Fiona.  "I just want to give you a good life. He is a rich man who can give you many luxuries."

"You rejected him, and I lost the two million dollars. You're such a fool." Ella put pressure on Fiona.  

Fiona was in anguish, not expecting her mother to do such a thing. "Mom, I already have a husband. And I can't accept his proposal," she said.

Hearing Fiona's words made Ella even angrier. Her gaze was fixed on Samuel with hatred. "Hey, you. Didn't you say that she's your wife? If you want to keep Fiona as your wife, you must bring me two million dollars."

Samuel was shocked. He wouldn't be able to do that, and neither could Fiona; she knew it was impossible. 

"What are you doing?" Fiona tried to stop her mother. 

"Hurry up and bring me two million dollars, or else it would be better if you and Fiona got divorced. I'm giving you one day." Ella shouted with emphasis. She pointed at the door. "Hurry up and leave!"

Ella folded her arms at this time. "If you fail to do so, I will sell Fiona to another rich man."

Samuel was even more shocked. He didn't want that to happen. And he wasn't going to give up so easily. 

Suddenly, he nodded his head. "Alright, I'll bring the money, two million dollars for you, mom.", he said firmly. 

Fiona was surprised that Samuel's words were impossible. But at this moment, Samuel looked at her with conviction. "I will come back and bring the money. Wait for me, Fiona." After saying that, he quickly left.
