Seeing Jaxon, instead of inviting the old man in, asking him about what the young master had said earlier made the middle-aged man immediately say firmly, "You'll see. Now let our guest in first!"

There was no choice for Jaxon. He, who was currently overwhelmed with confusion over what was happening, could only obey the orders of his adoptive father.

"Sir, please come into our home," Jaxon said, inviting the uninvited guest to enter.

The old man in the doorway smiled and began to step inside. But Jaxon was again dumbfounded when he saw that the old man was not alone. As the old man entered, two more people appeared from the left and right of the outer door and followed the old man from behind.

The middle-aged man, Jaxon's adoptive father, sighed in surprise as he recognised the two people behind the old man.

He said to himself, "Damn it. It turns out that this was Marcus' doing. No wonder Mr Sparrow was able to smell my presence in this place. I'm
