Chapter 18- Reentering the Academy

This was the first time that Kronos gave me a warning regarding the reward, so I must pay heed to its warning. Since I have another mission that must be completed by me in a month, I must complete it before absorbing this technique. I asked Twilight “Can you give me 90 good books in the library? It would be best if you could also give me books with names that start with ‘The History of.’” Twilight was surprised by this strange request but she still did what she was requested to do. Twilight said some more words in the Spirit Language which was translated to come here followed by various book names. After a few minutes had passed exactly 90 books were laid down neatly on the floor, they emitted various auras like ferocious auras, gentle auras, Heavenly auras, etc.

Twilight was surprised when Richard made all the books disappear into thin air. Twilight taught it was some kind of space magic I had developed but little did she know that it was not a magic of Richard but one of the functions of Kronos. Since I had finished the work for which I had come to the library, I left the library. Once I came out of the door, I saw the green light going in the opposite direction it had gone while opening the door. The green light went to the center and I heard the sound of the door tightening to the walls.

I then went near the bookshelf that had turned with him towards the library’s entrance. I then proceeded to push the book back to its original position as I was instructed by my father. Once again the bookshelf turned with me till I was safely on the other side in the attic. Once again I had to climb the long staircase to go out of the palace. I wished that there was an elevator to go up and down, too bad that the technology is not advanced enough to make an elevator.

 Once I reached the King’s throne room he asked me “Did you get what you were searching son.” I nodded and took the library key out to give it to my father but he shook his head while saying “You deserve the key more than me. After all, you will be the future king soon, so it’s best to give the key earlier to you so that you would become a better and more knowledgeable king.”

I nodded and kept the precious key in Kronos’s inventory while acting like I was putting the key in my pocket. I then left the palace and got another bumpy ride back to the academy after changing my dress to the school uniform. The driver was confused that I was not in the academy. He even asked me why I was not in the academy to which I replied that I had gotten permission to temporarily leave the school for a work that I had to do.

The driver seemed surprised to hear I was allowed to go out of the school by the Dean but he did not say anything regarding it. While I was going into the academy I got a salute from the guards. I then had to spend a few minutes explaining to the guards why I did not want them to salute me. I decided that I had to go and inform the Dean that I had arrived at the school.

I surprisingly entered the Dean’s office without any interruptions. I thought somebody would stop a student when they tried to enter the Dean’s office but it seemed the students had the freedom to go into the Dean’s office when they felt the need to do so.  The Dean seemed surprised to see me back at the school so early. I wonder why people were always surprised at what   I say and do; if I was able to convert other people’s emotions to money I would have millions of dollars in my bank account already.

The Dean questioned “Did you find the boy you were searching and how was the library of legends? How was Twilight? Was she fine?” Although I was floored by his questions I replied “I found the book, it was quite interesting and it showed the hierarchy of gods, the possibility of Augustus being a reincarnated god, humans being the descendants of Primordial humans who are stronger than gods and so much more. The library of legends has the most enchanting scenery I have ever seen. Twilight is quite well in the library. She seems to be nearing the level of a Spirit King.”

The Dean was Shocked as expected by the knowledge in the book I was searching for. The shock could even be seen by the most inexperienced face reader. The Dean then asked in a shocked tone “You can see the level of twilight. Even I cannot see the extent of her powers but to be near breaking through to Spirit King is a great achievement since A Spirit King is only born once every 1 million years but that is nothing compared to a Spirit King’s Life Span.”

Since I could not tell that I was able to see Twilight’s level due to Kronos’s words, I nodded my head. The Dean was shocked to know that I could see the extent of Twilight’s Powers. While the Dean was shocked I excused myself from the office since the Dean might ask how I was able to see Twilight’s Powers.
