Valentina and Tony rushed into the hotel through the secret door.

They were already on their way home after Valentina went for her late appointment. Due to the commotion in the hotel that could result in a big headache for her, Valentina instructed Tony to reverse and immediately go to the hotel.

'How did this happen? What got those two furious to go against Thomas Hidalgo?' Those questions have troubled her heart ever since she got the information.

Valentina and Tony enter the elevator for quick arrival rather than using the stairs.

Tony quickly inputted the floor number of Thomas Hidalgo lodge after confirming from the two men he assigned to keep a lookout for the situation and make sure the commotion wasn't noticed by any third party.

"I heard what happened," William calmly said to Mrs. Marianne. His eyes didn’t flicker toward Bridget, treating her presence as if she were no more than a shadow. "I came to see how she’s doing." Bridget’s face twitched at the way he ignored her. Rage boiled inside her. How dare this poor bastard act like she was invisible? It was a direct insult, humiliating to the core. "Leave. The person you're looking for isn't here," Mrs. Marianne replied coldly, her voice filled with irritation. "Mom, why even bother wasting your breath on him?" Bridget thundered, stepping forward and jabbing a finger in William’s direction. "Trash like him isn’t worth any of our time." Her voice trembled with anger as she pointed at him again. "You shameless man! You still have the guts to show your miserable face here? Again and again?" "Shut it," William replied, still calm, but now with a touch of coldness to his voice. "I’m here for Catherine, not you." There was no emotion in his eyes, just pure disda

  • 68—Thomas's evil intention

In the Hidalgo’s mansion, Thomas sat in his big, expensive, and quiet room as he watched the large TV mounted on the wall. His eyes stayed fixed on the screen, and he did not blink even for a moment. An evil smile slowly spread across his face as he listened to every word. He sat very still, his mind working quickly as he stared at the screen with strong interest. On the TV, the news talked about Catherine. The report said that Catherine had been thrown out of the Kensington family. Thomas watched every detail carefully. He did not miss a single moment of the report. The headline on the screen made him nod slowly with satisfaction over what had happened to her. Thomas reached for his glass cup and took a slow sip of wine. His voice broke the silence as he spoke in a low tone. "Good one," he said with a smirk. He repeated softly, "You think chasing her out of the family will make us change our mind about your family. Well done." Every word was spoken clearly as he enjoyed the t

I only said it to keep the kids from worrying. When I mentioned vacation, Aiden’s face lit up with excitement, and he asked, "Where, Mommy? Where?" I replied simply, "It will be a surprise."I hoped that my answer would bring them some joy, even though I was filled with inner pain.At that moment, all I desired was cash to take care
