Tyson walked quickly, passing rows of shops without really seeing where his feet were taking him, his eyes were searching for one figure: the man who had bumped into him earlier.

The floor was crowded, filled with people carrying shopping bags, children’s laughter blending with the soft music from the mall speakers.

Within seconds, the shadow disappeared. No sign remained of a man in a pale blue shirt moving in a hurry. Tyson stopped at the end of the corridor, his sharp gaze sweeping the area, but all he saw was ordinary bustle.

He clenched his fist, fighting the urge to call the system and order it to track. Logic held him back just in time.

He took a deep breath, catching his reflection on the glass wall of a nearby store.

If I suddenly show up and confront him, then what? he thought. What am I supposed to say? I can’t explain how I know.

His hand lifted slightly, then dropped again. No. He couldn’t act recklessly. That man was clearly no ordinary person, and without a valid reason

Anna sat down first, lowering herself to the edge of the court with a tired but relieved motion. She gazed up at the night sky that was empty, starless, lit only by the faint glow of the city. It felt quiet, but not truly peaceful. Something was still spinning in her chest, something she hadn’t fully let go of.A few steps later, Tyson appeared, his breathing still a little heavy. He carried two bottles of water and tossed one toward Anna.“Thanks,” Anna murmured, her voice hoarse but gentle. She drank quickly, as if trying to swallow the tangled feelings caught in her throat.Tyson sat beside her an arm’s length away. Not too close, but close enough to feel it. The only sounds were the faint hum of night insects and the soft wind that tousled Anna’s hair.Several minutes passed before Anna spoke. “You know,” she said suddenly, her tone light. “I was actually embarrassed at that time.”Tyson turned slightly, just enough to show he was listening.“At the private box,” Anna continued w

Tyson let out a quiet sigh before replying, his voice low and calm.“I was worried. Besides… I’m the one who brought you out here. So, I feel responsible.”His tone wasn’t accusatory, just a simple statement. Yet somehow, it was enough to make Anna’s chest tighten with a strange warmth. She lowered her head, lips pursed as if wanting to argue, but no words came out.The truth was, her earlier anger was nothing but leftover tension to pretend irritation to make herself look strong. Now, hearing Tyson’s steady, sincere voice, that mask began to crack.“In that case… walk with me for a bit,” she finally said, not daring to meet his eyes.Tyson looked at her briefly, then nodded. “Alright.”They walked side by side along the sidewalk, illuminated by the glow of streetlights. For a while, neither spoke. The only sounds were their footsteps and the whisper of the night breeze, carrying faint traces of coffee from a shop at the corner.Though silent, it didn’t feel awkward, rather it was cal

As the door closed behind them, the noise from the restaurant below felt almost jarringly normal, too loud and too bright compared to the tense air they had just left behind.Anna immediately pulled her hand from Tyson’s grasp. The movement was quick, but not harsh.“Thank you,” she said softly, her voice hoarse, barely audible. She didn’t dare look at him, her head lowered, eyes fixed on the floor as if the act alone could hide the humiliation burning in her chest.Without waiting for a response, Anna walked away, heels clicking lightly against the polished floor. She moved fast, almost desperate, as though she could erase her existence from the place if she just left quickly enough. She stopped briefly at their table, grabbed her small purse, then slid a few folded bills beneath the empty glass.Tyson watched in silence, not out of anger, but understanding. He knew that kind of shame, the kind that made a person cling to the last piece of dignity they had left… by leaving first, wi

The sharp scrape of a chair against the floor cut through the air. Ragged breaths and the sound of bodies colliding filled the private room, far from the noise of the restaurant below.Anna twisted quickly, blocking the hand of a brown-haired woman who had tried to grab her hair from behind. Her body curved, then her elbow shot back with almost instinctive precision. The woman fell forward with a low groan.Melanie, standing in the middle of the room, watched with quickened breath.“Do you really think you can win against us?” she snapped, her voice hoarse with anger.Anna didn’t answer. She simply glared, her cheek flushed from a hit, the corner of her lip smeared with a trace of blood. Even so, her gaze burned steady and contained. Two more women lunged at her at once. One yanked at her clothes from the side while the other swung a slap that nearly met her face. Anna stepped back half a pace, spun, and shoved one by the shoulder, sending her crashing into the sofa. Her breathing ca

Soft music from the speakers filled the pauses in their conversation, while waiters passed by carrying trays of food from one table to another.Scarlett watched Tyson over the rim of her nearly empty glass. She was still thinking about Tyson’s earlier offer. As someone involved in business, of course she preferred things to be transparent rather than shrouded in secrecy.“About the project you mentioned earlier,” she said lightly, though there was genuine interest in her tone. “If you’re serious about it, I’d like to see the concept. Do you have a big picture in mind?”Tyson glanced at her briefly before setting down his spoon. “I do. But it’s not time to reveal it yet. I want to make sure everything’s ready first.”Scarlett smiled faintly and nodded in understanding.Tyson responded with a small nod of his own, but his thoughts weren’t fully there. His gaze drifted toward the hallway where the Ladies’ Room sign was hanging. He’d been glancing that way from time to time, but there was

Anna froze the moment she heard that mockingly familiar voice. She turned slowly, her gaze landing on a face that made her want to sigh in exasperation.Renee.Complete with her trademark half-smirk, more disgusting than the bright red lipstick coating her lips. Her hair was teased high, earrings swinging like little bells, and behind her stood three other girls, two Anna recognized as Melanie’s loyal followers, and one new face whose expression screamed I’ll join the drama as long as I’m not the target.“Long time no see, Anna,” Renee cooed sweetly, her tone dripping with subtle venom.Anna raised a brow, her lips curving into a faint smile.“Unfortunately, not long enough.”Renee’s smile faltered for a moment but quickly recovered.“Melanie wants to talk. Come with us to the second floor, she’s reserved a private room.”Her tone sounded like an order dressed up in false politeness.Anna glanced toward the spiral staircase leading up to the balcony. From there, she caught a glimpse o
