A year later

After a year.

As Dion returned home from the office, the familiar sound of little feet pattering across the floor greeted him. With a joyful giggle, Kai ran up to him, wrapping his tiny arms around Dion's leg.

"Hey there, little buddy!" Dion scooped Kai up, lifting him high into the air. "Did you have a good day with Mommy and Lily?"

Kai, his face beaming with excitement, babbled happily, his words a delightful jumble of baby sounds.

Lily, ever the energetic sister, chimed in, "Kai was playing with his toys, Daddy! He's getting so big, isn't he?"

Dion chuckled, ruffling Lily's hair affectionately. "Yes, he is. And so are you, my little helper."

Meanwhile, Eden emerged from the kitchen, her expression a mix of exhaustion and resignation. "Dion, I'm tired of being cooped up at home all day. It's exhausting looking after two little ones."
