“Minerva is here?” Sheryl slightly frowned as she heard that name come out of the mouth of one of Lark’s subordinates. “She’s one extremely arrogant bitch who preaches about peace while stabbing her chef for not cooking the meal fitting her mood.”

“Should I send her back then?”

“No, she’s the daughter of Golden Falcon,” Sheryl said. “I should talk to her to see if she changed her mind on going back to her dad or not.”

In the past, Denver persuaded Minerva to go to her father who was the head of the Falcon Group, but Minerva didn’t listen to him.

Because Denver lost his memories, Sheryl thought she should do the job in Denver’s stead.

A few minutes later.

Lark and Alex personally escorted Minerva to the eastern port.

Seeing the newly built port and the boats and ships, Minerva was wide-eyed. “What the hell is all this? Are you guys starting a sea trade?”

Natalia, who was watching it through a secret camera in her earring, was even more shocked and angered. “So they’ve already started t

Sheryl and Sakura were underground, but they couldn’t sit still as the infernal beaver and the termites were after them.“Is there nothing we can do but run?” Sakura asked. One of the termites caught up to them and tried to chomp on her. Sakura blocked it with the sword. To her bewilderment, the aura got sucked off, and the termite chewed on the sword.“My sword!” Sakura cried and punched it with her fist, crushing it to the wall. But then more termites showed up.Sheryl raised trees to block their path. This bought them some time. “Don’t stop and just keep running,” she told Sakura, and they kept running together.Sakura could see that Sheryl was tired. Opening a path underground must take a significant amount of energy.“We won’t last long if this keeps up,” Sakura thought. “I don’t want to become termite shit.”Meanwhile, in the royal palace hall.Lark attacked relentlessly until his arms could not throw another attack anymore. To his horror, none of his attacks even left a scratch

Lark ripped Casil’s heart out and squeezed it to a pulp. “I’ve dreamed of this day for so long!”Casil bled from the corners of his mouth, but he didn’t move from his throne.“I’ve approached many rankers, hoping they’d understand how I feel, but none of them understood me,” Lark growled. “I shouldn’t have wasted so long, trying to persuade Denver into killing you. But I’m glad that I got hold of enough strength to take you by surprise. I honestly wasn’t sure that I’d succeed, but you’ve been sitting your ass down in this chair for far too long. Your senses have dullened quite a bit. Now, go and burn in hell!”He clawed at Casil’s face. But his hand got repelled back.A small shockwave pushed him many steps back.Lark looked utterly confused as the hole in Casil’s heart started closing. “I-Impossible,” his heart started racing like never before. “Y-You… are you a vampire? No, vampires can’t have children. Just what the hell are you?”“I was expecting some of my sons to get to my heart

At the eastern shore of Hawk Park.Brother Linen just arrived there and dragged a boat onto the waters all by himself. “I will have to find a trusted guy in the underworld to sell some of these crystals to. But before that, I should successfully get to another country across the oceans without leaving any traces. I will try not to stand out and live a quiet and peaceful life, enjoying all the wealth.”But before he could jump onto the boat, a python burst out from underwater and overturned the boat in the process, forcing Brother Linen to move back.“What the hell?” Brother Linen was shocked by the sudden arrival of a monster. “You want to eat me?” He was ready to fight it, but then the python coughed out two people.Brother Linen recognized them both, and he did not understand why they were together.“I can finally breathe,” one of those two people was a one-eyed old man, Sedrick, who stretched his body while grabbing the collar of Jewel King Kelton who was unconscious. “Mm?” Sedric

Sheryl spun, twisting the wind around her. Trunks arose and bent inward like claws closing around prey and viciously attacked the infernal beaver and the massive colony of mad termites. The termites simply devoured the trees even though the tips of these trees were coated with aura. The beaver also burned the trees to dust.“Hahaha, kill her! Leaving nothing but bones!” Kael laughed. “All I need are bones. They will suffice for the sacrifice!”A few moments passed as the beaver and the termites consumed every thing in their path but then stopped at some point.Kael joined them and was expecting to see bones on the ground. However, Sheryl was nowhere to be seen, and there was a hole in the ground, through which termites were coming in and out.It wasn’t that the termites had completely eaten Sheryl, but she had escaped through an underground path before the beasts could get her.“I didn’t think she could travel underground like that…” Kael frowned. “She tricked me into thinking that sh

A rumble so deep it tore through bone, a thunder made of splintering wood and screaming wind echoed all around, but it was followed by a nasty explosion that blasted away the trees. The air thickened with sap and soil, the scent of crushed life filling many people’s lungs. There were millions of burning leaves floating in the air, and many people were awed and terrified by what they were seeing. Sharp wooden objects rained down and broke through brick walls and concrete roofs. There was no safe place for anybody to hide.“Is this the end of the world or what?” One low ranker was visibly shaken as all he could do was quiver in his boots.Even though he was more than a mile away from where Sheryl and Kael were fighting, he did not feel safe in the slightest.“I should have run away before the festival started,” he cried. “Someone please help me. Keep me safe.”“Move out of the way, you trash!” someone struck him with the back of their fist and dashed away.It was Brother Linen who was c

I stopped doing solo fights long back,” Rob replied.“Is that why you’re researching turning humans into mindless zombies through drugs?” Philip asked in a serious tone.Rob smiled fearlessly. “Tyron will make a good test subject. No matter who wins and sits on the throne, I will support them. Mickey seems to be in trouble. If he doesn’t win now, I’ll withdraw my support. In the end, I always work for the benefit of our organization.”After Rob said those words, Philip loosened his fists, as Rob had expected.Nevertheless, Rob couldn’t help but show the greed in his eyes.
