Catherine told Denver that she’s going to find a job for herself and left the apartment after giving him the spare key.

Some girls in the apartment asked Catherine about the sound last night, but she asked them, ‘what sound?’ They asked her if she fought with Denver or something, but she didn’t even answer their question and just told them to mind their business.

Meanwhile, Denver cleaned the place first and was about to leave, but Catherine’s friends just happened to visit.

They were all surprised to see Denver coming out of her flat. Two of them knew him, but the other two didn’t.

“Is that a thief?” one of the girls quickly said.

“No, he’s Catherine’s sister’s fiance,” another girl said, “though I don’t remember his name.”

“Look how big he is. Are those real muscles, or is he wearing a fake body within?”

All four of the girls were in sports attire as they were athletes trying to win medals for the state and the country. They all looked fit and healthy just like Catherine, though one

Denver came to Cat Pools. The Clarke company members were already clearing out all the broken rubble. The new manager was showing different plans to Denver. “Pick whichever one fits you for this place, sir.”Denver didn’t even sign the contract, so he was surprised to see how the Clarke company was rushing things. On one hand, he was happy for the work happening rapidly, but on the other hand, he was also a bit nervous that Sage Clarke might be expecting something from him in return.“I need some time to pick one design,” Denver told the manager.“Sure, sir. I’ll ask you again after we prepare this plot for the construction,” the manager told him.Denver then sent the design pictures to Catherine. She was sitting outside the interview room and was surprised to see the pictures. She called Denver quickly. “Why did you send me those dreamy pool pictures?”“Which one do you like the most out of all those?” Denver asked her.“Why are you asking?”“Can’t I casually ask you such a question?”

It was evident from the shock on her face that she was not at all planning on getting pregnant. Who would even plan for such a thing before marriage unless they were utterly foolish or had some bad intentions?Subrina looked even more upset and horrified right now. If others were to learn that Diane was pregnant, what would happen to her family image?“Mom, do you really think I’m pregnant?” Diane’s forehead was growing in stress marks. Her voice contained nervousness.Subrina just kept staring at her daughter in shock.“Why aren’t you saying anything? You’re making me nervous,” Diane said. She had a relatively decent image in society, so the fact that she got pregnant before marriage will ruin her life. “What should I do now? Should

Denver quickly took the child to the hospital, and the doctors told Denver that the kid was poisoned with a powerful toxin, for which they weren’t confident in treating the kid.Denver was sure that he breathed the toxins, but he was fine.So he told the doctor, “My blood is AB negative. Transfer my platelets and plasma to him. That should help him.”“How will that help him?” The doctor refused him without hesitation. “It won’t.”“Just do it,” Denver glared at the doctor. “If the child dies because you were late, I don’t know what I’ll do to you!”The doctor nearly shit in his pants. “I-I’ll do it!”He speedily arranged the process and transferred Denver’s plasma and platelets to the kid, and then to the doctor’s astonishment, the kid’s condition was improving fast. He opened his eyes within a few minutes.Denver told everyone to go outside and then asked the kid, “Who gave you the soft drink bottle?”“One uncle gave it to me,” the kid replied in a weak voice. “I couldn’t open it. “That fucker acted like a sheep, but he’s a fucking wolf,” Subrina growled as she got up to her feet. “As soon as your dad died, he started his plan. He made your sister pregnant, and now, he’s after you.” She poked her finger into her daughter’s chest. “Don’t fall for his tricks!”“M-Mom, what the hell are you saying?” Catherine raised her voice. She was loud, so she controlled herself and opened the door. Both the mother and the daughter entered the flat. Catherine shut the door and tossed her bag aside.“Let’s assume that Diane is pregnant,” Catherine said, putting her hands on her waist. “She’s fucking Stephen, and who knows how many other men? So how the hell did you come to the conclusion that Denver is the dad?”“Because Denver is also among those men, and she gave me his name,” Subrina said calmly but firmly as if she didn’t doubt it at all. “You should know how much Diane looks down on Denver. There’s no strong reason for her to say that Denver is the dad.”“Maybe she wants t

The parents blamed Denver after he explained the incident. Denver asked for an apology and then left some money at their door without them knowing. Now, he called Sheryl’s mobile. This time, it rang, but she didn’t pick it up.Moments later, he received a text message: My mission got extended. I’ll be there soon, so please wait patiently. Love you, Boss.“What mission is it?” Denver sent a text message back.“Can’t tell you. Sorry,” she replied.“Huh, am I not your boss?”“Haha. Good try. But please don’t disturb me. After what I’ve done for him… Mm?” Just then, she noticed an old red car in

“A cheap man will only know how to give cheap gifts,” Diane snorted, flaunting her dazzling yellow dress that caught people’s attention. “Let me show you what a real gift looks like.”She handed a gift box which was bigger than Denver’s.Terry didn’t care about Diane’s insults toward Denver. He only cared about the gift box, so he hurriedly opened it.However, he found a small box inside. He opened the small box, and there was a key inside.“What’s this key for?” Terry asked her.Diane looked at Stephen who snapped his fingers. Two workers brought a mini car into the hall.“It can go up to 25 kilometers per hour, and it runs on battery, so you can just recharge it,” Diane said. “It cost just 20,000 dollars.”Sage was clearly impressed by the gift. She’s smart and worth hanging around.)Diane, on the other hand, took her mobile out. She started sending text messages to her sister.“What are you doing, Catty?” Diane asked, but there was no reply. “Do you want to know what your man is doing right now? He came to a party. Yellow Tiger was observing the fight between Denver and Borg.“That punk released poisonous flames!” Yellow Tiger didn’t like it. “He doesn’t care about others’ lives. What if the council members breathe those flames and lose their minds?”The council members are generally more resistant to poisons because they were often fed rare herbs that would boost their health and strength.Nevertheless, Borg’s flames were not ordinary. They were living flames, which he could control, thanks to the nanobots present in the flames. These flames didn’t need a fire source as Borg could freely control them. They could burn for as long as he wanted. They could roast anybody he wished. And Borg made sure that those ever-burning flames concentrated on Denver and Catherine.“They can’t seem to escape from those deadly flames,” one of the mothers of the council said, looking up.“Don’t underestimate the lightning ability,” Natalia was saying, and something flew out of the flames and landed on the ground be

He must be affecting their blood and messing it up somehow. His blood lightning ability is broken! It’s really annoying.”Her Horrors were not supposed to be dealt with so easily, so Natalia felt it a little embarrassing.Denver was rushing toward Borg, but the cloud beneath his feet turned into a water spear and attacked him out of the blue.Denver dodged it and kept going. But he briefly glanced toward Natalia who just manipulated that cloud and turned it into water.Neither of them said a word, but their gazes weren’t exactly friendly or welcoming each other either.“I should have got him with that surprise attack,” Natalia thou

Mm?” she glanced at Borg who was looking at her. “What? You need me to kill you in the face, too?”“You are the one who has the gravitas system…” Borg smiled like a Cheshire cat. “I should thank you for coming to me.” He got up to his feet and cracked his knuckles before lunging at her.“Gravitas Punch!” She quickly threw her fist at him.“All Seal!” Borg blocked her punch with his palm and completely neutralized it, leaving her rather shell-shocked.“W-What?”“You overestimated yourself, bitch,”

How dare he create a clone of the council member without permission! Whatever reasons he may have, he needs to be punished!”“I agree,” Yellow Tiger said. “I knew that he’s been doing nothing but shit in this tower, but this is shit shittier than shit.”“Yeah. He’s biting the hand that fed him!” Natalia was fuming so much Yellow Tiger could feel the heat through the screen. “I am the one who let him be the head of the High Tower.
