The waitress, Serena, gathered herself before speaking. She pulled herself out of her reverie, having admired Gabriel's handsomeness.

"Alright, sir, once again, thank you very much. I hope you are having a good time here," she said, then left.

The seconds passed quickly as the day changed. The time read 8 a.m., and Gabriel woke up from his deep sleep. He got out of bed and drew the large curtains in his room, letting the sunlight stream in.

He stared out the window, pensively admiring the view of Valmont City from his floor. The elite charity gala would be held at 8 p.m.

Gabriel had come to Valmont City without his father, butler, or personal assistant, with only a few bodyguards. Although he had a personal assistant, he was still on probation, so asking him to accompany him here wasn't a good idea.

His family's fashion stylist had prepared the perfect outfit for him to attend tonight's charity gala, so Gabriel wouldn't have to do sudden shopping here.
