Chapter 40(On a borrowed time)

"Yeah, thanks" he replies as the man takes his leave.

Nathan looked at her, she was sitting on one of the seats in Lexon Cafe where they sat to wait for the car. In a way he felt that there is something more to her attitude towards her. He thought about apologizing more humbly but immediately he shun it when he saw her walking briskly towards him.

"Here it is" he hands the key to her.

On seeing the car she felt some sense of guilt and would have apologized but just like Nathan she shun the idea on seeing that Nathan was leaving

The scene opens at Golden day hotel inside Nathan's magnificent apartment. He sits in the middle of the room as he faces the beautiful view that his scenery provides him. Close to his seat is a small table and on the table is a hot ceramics cup half filled by coffee.
