Chapter 10 - You want to act? Fine let's act!

Richardtook the phone from his father and looked at the news! He could not believe what he was seeing. He was dating that woman Joanna Anderson? How is this even possible? How can he be going out with someone like that? Even if he got all his senses blinded, he would never do something like that!

He looked at the pictures, they were taken when he entered the car and when he left. Wait, what is wrong with these people? How can they write such crazy and outrageous stories with a few pictures? Is everyone bored and now they are making up stories?

Richardturned to his father. "I really don't know what this is about. What nonsense is this?!" Richardasked.

Matt took the phone from Richardand looked at it. He too was shocked when he saw it. He shook his head. It looks like Richardand Claudia had gotten themselves into some trouble with this. He knew that the media was like this. Taking advantage of a few pictures to blow the situation out of control so that they had something to talk about.

But this was understandable. After all, Claudia had never had any scandals with any man. She always kept her private life well hidden. They were many people who wanted to find a story about her and now Richardhad given them the chance.

Matt was worried about what Scarlet's reaction would be. He knew her well since she worked with the agency. With a temper like this, she is definitely going to flip.

"This is really big. We have to find a way to deal with this" Matt said.

Peter looked at Ryder. He could not believe that there was actually absolutely nothing going on with him and Claudia. After all, he knew his son really well. He could not help asking him again. "Ryder, what really is going on? Is there really nothing going on with you and Claudia?" Peter asked.

Richardwas angry. How can there be something between him and that woman? She is the most annoying person that he had ever met in his entire life! She spared no effort to annoy him just how! Even if he was blind, he won't have anything to do with her!

"What do you mean by that? Even if I'm blind, I won't have anything to do with her at all! If we are the only humans left on Earth, the human race would end with us!" Richardsaid. In all his life, he never met a woman that annoyed him like her.

Peter suddenly looked like he was lost thinking about something. There is really a woman that Richardis not interested in? He did not know Claudia well but seeing how she could annoy Richardlike this, he was really interested in knowing her now. Peter stopped thinking about it. They have to take care of the matters at hand first. "We have to deal with this scandal. What do you think that we should do?" Peter asked. He was asking both Matt and Ryder. Matt is the PR director and no matter what Richardis still the CEO of the company!

Richardof course did not have anything to say. He was not fuming inside. How can someone even think of putting him and that woman in a rumoured relationship? In a million years, he did not see that happening at all! A woman like that, he won't want to have anything to do with her at all. She really is annoying!

Matt on his part, was thinking about how he was going to deal with this. He suddenly had an idea. This involved Claudia and Richardso they would have to talk about it with her. "Why don't we have Claudia come over here first? Then we can talk about what we are going to do when Claudia gets here" Matt said.

"Does she really need to come here? There is nothing for us to talk about here! You are the PR director right? Just release a statement and tell them that it's false. There is nothing going on between the both of us! Is it that hard for you to say?" Richardasked. He was starting to get frustrated.

Matt sighed. He too was starting to get frustrated with Ryder. He really wanted to open his head and see what was inside. If he is the CEO of an entertainment agency he should at least know these things. Right now, he was sure that Claudia's house most be surrounded by reported wanting to interview her. Very soon, reporters are going to start coming to the company, wanting to know what the company has to say about it. For an actress that has never had any scandals before, something like this could be very fatal to her. Matt could not be bothered to say anything to Ryder.

It was Peter who answered him. "What is really going on in your head right now? If you are the CEO of an entertainment agency you should know these things. Claudia is probably going to have a hard time because of this. We need to talk to her and come up with a plan for this" Peter said. Turning to Matt he said, "Contact Claudia's Manager and tell her to come to the company right now" Petter said..

Richarddid not say anything more. Instead he just watched as his father and Matt tried to deal with the situation. They kept answering calls and saying that they were going to deal with the situation soon. Richardwas not bothered with this though. Instead, he kept thinking about what his father said. Something like this could be fatal for an actress like that has never had any scandals before. Claudia is going to have a hard time because of this scandal. His lips curled up in a devilish smile. So she is going to have a hard time? It won't hurt to teach that arrogant woman a lesson with this.

Rose and Claudia was still in Claudia's house. Claudia had gotten her mother to leave. She did not want her to stay and continue to hassle her about all of this. She was already having a hard time as it was already. Rose's phone kept ringing. Reporters wanted to interview her and hear what she had to say. Whether the rumour was true or not. Claudia had her fists cletched tightly. Once she gets a hold of that idiot CEO, she definitely won't let him go at all!

Rose's phone rang again and she went away to answer it. When she came back, she had a timid look on her face. One look at her and Claudia knew that she wanted to ask her something. "What is it Rose? I'm already stressed enough as it is. Just tell me what is going on" Claudia asked. She did not want her to keep going around and around in circles. She was already stressed out enough.

"Well, the PR director just called me. He said that he wants you to come to the company because they want to talk about how they are going to deal with this" Rose said. Rose was scared to tell Claudia this because she knew that she did not like dealing with the management of the company. But the situation was already like this. Rose thought that it was only right that they went.

Claudia turned to look at Rose. "Why should I go there? What do they need for me? PR director? If Helain Entertainment still has a PR management then they should know what to do about this right? Just tell them that it's not true. I don't have a relationship with that stupid CEO! I'm not going to go so they should just release a statement and say that it's not true!" Claudia said. She was already pissed enough. Does she have to go there and see that idoit's face.

Rose sighed. She knew that Claudia was going to say this. However she still has to convince her to go. "Claudia, it's very important that you go. They can't just release a statement, there are pictures and those pictures are true. We can't risk anything. You should know that something like this is very serious for you. And besides, the awards ceremony is around the corner. We have to deal with this as soon as possible" Rose reminded her.

Claudia cletched her fists. Her career is something that she won't play with no matter what happens. She knew that she has to go. For her career. As for that stupid CEO, she is just going to find a way to deal with him! She is definitely going to make him pay for making things this difficult for her! "Alright. Let's go. It's not like there's something that we can do" Claudia said.

She went inside to get changed and soon the both of them left the house. They had to use the back exit because the front was surrounded with reporters.

Meanwhile, back in the company, Richardwas still in his office. He wanted to see Claudia's face when she came in. Her manager already called and said that she was coming. She doubted him when he said that he is the CEO right? Well they are going to see! Richardknew that he was really petty tight now but he did not care. As long as he got his revenge! And besides, he was going to become even more petty very soon. A smile appeared on his face when he thought about the plan that he had to deal with Claudia.

Soon enough, two women entered the office. Richardsaw the first woman wasn't Claudia so she must be the secretary that they were talking about. He rested his eyes on the second woman. It was her. Claudia Kingston. He had a mocking smile on his face as if he was telling her, "I told ya"

But to Ryder's disappointment, the woman did not even spare him a single glance. She pretended as if no one was there! She completely ignored him! It was the first time that he RichardThompson had been ignored!

Claudia could see that Richardwas trying to get her attention probably because he wanted to make fun of her as soon as she came in but she did not even spare him a glance. She had no time to play with this idioit. Instead she went straight to Matt and Peter.

"Chairman, Director, what are we going to do about this?" Claudia went straight to the point. It was already annoying enough for her that she was here. She did not want to waste any time.

Peter cleared his throat. "Claudia, you already saw the rumours right? About you and Ryder...." Peter did not get the chance to finish.

"Do you really still need to ask me this? There is nothing at all! I just want to know how the PR is going to handle this!" Claudia yelled. What are these people thinking?

However, Richardwas not going to let her be. After she ignored him, he only got more determined to make things more difficult for her. If this scandal continues, she is going to he put in a difficult position right?

Richardgot up and walked to Claudia. Then all of a sudden, he wrapped his hands around her waist! Richarddid not even give Claudia the chance to react. He had his hands wrapped tightly around her waist!

"Baby, since it's already like this there is no need for us to continue to hide it. Let's just tell them the truth. I don't want to hide anymore" Richardsaid. Then he suddenly pouted his face, like he was begging her.
