Eighty nine

Dylan arrived at his godmother's home. He had to brace himself completely before finally knocking on the door.

In no time, the door opened and as expected, she was shocked to see Dylan's state. She let out a shaky breath and opened the door widely for him to enter and he did.

"You…you really got me worried, Dylan. What happened to you? It's Dwayne, right? Did he kidnap you? What did he do to you, Dylan? Answer me, please." Stephanie desperately asked.

Dylan let out a sigh and turned to look at her. "It's in the past now, aunt. I'm fine now. They didn't succeed and they won't."

His answers were enough to answer all her unanswered questions. She nodded and asked, "Are you hungry? I made spaghetti."

Dylan sat on one of the sofas and shook his head. "I'm more interested in what you have to say to me."

Stephanie nodded and equally sat down opposite him. "Well, it's about our plans involving skincare products. I have a good friend who happens to have a skincare products manufacturing plant
