Chapter Thirty Eight

She hates the fact Mason thinks Ethan controls her when that is not the case. To prove what he was saying was wrong, Cassie snatched the drink from his hand and drank it on a go.

“Good,” Mason said and smirked. Quietly, fisting his hand into a ball to show his happiness. He gently pulled his phone from his pocket, made sure Cassie wasn’t seeing him, and set it on camera, gently placing it in a place that would cover Cassie.

Mason was happy everything was going as planned, the thought of how he was humiliated a few days ago only made him more livid, and he did anything to prove to them, that he wasn’t a failure.

Mason remembered how Arnold met him outside his office, at first, he was surprised to see him outside his office, but soon his surprise morphed into anger. “Mr. Stitches!” Arnold had called when he saw Mason moving closer to him, Mason had a faint smile on his face.
