Chapter 6: I'm ready to kill you both

“The truth is that I intend to buy my Lamborghini Aventador SV delos with that money.”

Director Johnson Wood turned red at once, as he wondered why he was given nothing apart from a senseless son.

“You know our financial situation presently, can't you stall a bit or maybe use your earnings to get that?”

“I was depressed, so I invited some friends and spent my money on drinks”

“Why were you depressed?” Director Johnston probed further.

“My girlfriend, Shawn, left me and ran back to that scum, Donald”

Director Johnson held his chest as he wondered what crime he committed to have gotten a liability like Jayden.

Finding his voice, he finally spoke up,”what about your company? Use the money from there and leave me alone!”

“Shit!” Jayden cursed as he kicked the sofa with rage. “I'm broke presently and you can't even help. I just have two useless grey-haired peeps, looking more like Squidward in SpongeBob”

“You!”

Chairman Wood yelled in anger as he gawked at Jayden's disappearing silhouette.

“This is all your fault! Why show up with your damn money and face!” Jayden said angrily as he hit his starring with his hands, before driving off.

However;

“I must go to him, how could I have missed out on the big fish? Donald was and remains the best, but he barely looks at my face now”

“What if you get ditched the same way you ditched him?” Brittany, Shawn's friend, questioned as she felt nothing but happiness over her friend's misfortunes.

“Doomsayer! Couldn't you have said something more soothing? Why rub it in?” Shawn spoke, looking piqued.

“You've lost him and there's nothing you can do about it. Get your ass up and move on, leave the poor guy alone!”

“And why do you suddenly care so much about him?” Shawn asked as she sensed jealousy in Brittany's voice.

“Before interrogating me, go and explain yourself to your beloved Jayden, you loser!”

Brittany mocked her and walked out. Shawn remained unmoved by her friend's words, rather, she dressed up and headed to the company.

***Pounds and Cloak**

“Sir, you have a guest, a lady”

Shawn stood patiently as she seriously hoped for the secretary to say something better than 'he's busy'.

“You may go in”

Her face lit up with smiles as she adjusted her red gown and repeatedly looked at herself in the mirror while in the elevator.

On getting in, Shawn's expression changed drastically as she ended up seeing a bald man, seated, grinning in a rather hair lifting manner.

“Hello, I'm here to see Donald” Shawn divulged but only got an ugly grin from the bald man.

Feeling infuriated, she probed further, “is he in or not?”

“Even if I was seated, you're the last person I would want to see. Why drag your filthy self into my office?”

Donald's voice echoed as he walked in with his hands in his pocket, reeking of nothing but wealth, power, and affluence.

“Donald” The look on Shawn's face softened at once. The manager stepped out while still grinning at Shawn.

“I've been waiting for you”

“What for?” Donald fired back.

“I know we have some issues, but I'm ready to fix things” Shawn spoke persuasively.

“Well I'm not”

“I am certainly ready to kill you both!” Jayden stomped into the office, reeking of alcohol.

Shawn almost peed on her pants after seeing his bloodshot eyes and the uncanny look he gave her.

Donald gawked at the duo, waiting for them to unleash their stupidity.

“I don't know how you got this far, but this company still belongs to my uncle, and Shawn is mine too”

“I guess you need to say that a hundred times, but even still, it won't guarantee that. You both should get your filthy selves out of here”

“The company is mine and no one else! I don't deal with cheap things, you should know better than anyone”

Upon completion of his statement, the security drove the duo out of the office with great difficulty.

“I won't spare you, Donald! Watch your back 12 times a day, I'm closer than you think."

Jayden threatened before leaving.

“Black Kaka'ri"

[Master]

“I should milk them dry, right?”

[As you please]

On the phone….

“Get me the stock manager of the Woods Consortium”

In less than an hour, an average white man walked into the office with a briefcase in his hands.

“Sit. I want to buy 90% shares of the Woods Consortium, can you facilitate that?”

“How about 50% at the discounted price?”

“I'm buying 90% of the stock, I'll buy it three times the price.” Donald made a tempting offer to the manager and went on to put him in an even tighter situation.

“I'll give you an additional $1,000,000 for the stress too. What do you say?”

The manager removed his glasses and wiped off sweat with his handkerchief before replying.

“I'm a devoted staff and I wouldn't sell 90% of the stocks”

“Your company is hitting rock bottom, you shouldn't be making choices at this point. You're actually the ones on the wining side, you'd be doing yourself a favor”

Donald's words deeply hit the manager as his eyes darted from place to place.

“$5,000,000 for you. Sell me the stocks”

The manager brought out the papers at once and placed it on the table. Donald's lips curved into a smile as he signed the documents, looking pleased.

“Jayden, Chairman Wood and director Johnson, well, let's play”

***Tyler's group***

“This man?”

“Yes. Find every valuable information about him. What he does, properties in his name, companies, and everything related to him” Michael Keys ordered the man in black as he handed Donald's picture to him.

“If the scry ball refuses to say something, then a human would help me out. Of all time, why does it have to be silent now? Could he have some magical backing? He only found it, how much does he know already?”

Michael Keys paced around, looking unsettled as he pondered on things. He needed to get back the bracelet and claim full ownership of it within three months in other to protect his wealth.

“This man here is., ..."
