‎The central chamber of the Star-Ship Foundry descended into a chaotic symphony of violence and creation. Colossal steam-powered gantry cranes whined under the weight of massive, four-inch-thick hull plates forged from dark Void-Iron—a rare, density-defying metal that could withstand the crushing gravity of the higher planes. Thousands of multi-limbed Iron-Weaver blacksmiths swarmed the split-open chassis of the Iron Sovereign, their heavy hammers raining a continuous shower of blinding orange sparks onto the deck.

‎Lu Chen sat cross-legged at the absolute center of the exposed hull, directly above the ship's pulsing star-core. He had discarded his torn burlap cloak. His bare, marble-dense chest was a network of glowing, pitch-black cosmic veins that directly mirrored the newly installed copper conduits of the warship.

‎"The ship’s skeletal framework cannot handle the sheer kinetic feedback of the Primordial Dreadnought Schema [1.1]!" Forge-Master Vulcan roared from the elevated gantry crane, his brass pneumatic eye whirring frantically. "The Void-Iron plates are rejecting the core's starlight! We need an organic binding agent, or the hull will rupture the moment we engage the warp-drives!"

‎Lu Chen didn't open his eyes. His flat, layered voice echoed directly within the minds of every blacksmith in the cavern. "Use my blood."

‎Before Vulcan could voice his shock, Lu Chen shot his right hand forward, his index finger extending like an iron rod. The solid blade of emerald-crimson Qi extending from his knuckle sliced a clean, deep line across his own left forearm.

‎Instead of spilling outward like a mortal wound, a thick, glowing stream of golden-crimson cosmic blood—saturated with the raw, refined energy of three fully digested Primordial Soul-Shards—rose into the air, entirely controlled by the gravity of his Void Sun core. With a fluid wave of his wrist, Lu Chen directed the glowing fluid straight into the primary organic conduits of the ship.

‎Screeech!

‎The moment his mutated blood touched the dead gray tissue of the ship's internal matrix, the conduits violently flared to life, turning a dark, translucent shade of crimson that throbbed in perfect, synchronized rhythm with Lu Chen's own heartbeat. The dark Void-Iron plates on the exterior snapped into place, their surfaces instantly etching themselves with jagged, light-drinking runes that absorbed the orange glare of the foundry.

‎Suddenly, a deafening explosion tore through the upper rock ceiling of the iron asteroid.

‎BOOM!

‎The massive gantry cranes snapped their cables, plunging two-ton metal plates into the central basin. Through the massive, smoking hole in the ceiling, three silver-hulled dreadnoughts of the Ascendant Council descended into the cavern, their glowing sapphire turrets already adjusted to fire.

‎"Heretic sanctuary located!" a telepathic voice boomed through the wreckage, sharp and robotic. "The Iron-Weaver Clan has committed ultimate treason! Execute the forge! Purge the vessel!"

‎Dozens of elite Council paladins, wearing seamless solid-light armor and carrying long space-crystal rapiers, leaped from the low-hovering dreadnoughts, landing heavily on the upper walkways [1.1]. They moved with the terrifying speed of Ascendant Divine Stage masters, their blades cutting through the blacksmiths like wheat.

‎"Hold the forge!" Lin Xue shrieked, her wind-affinity Qi flaring to its absolute limits as she launched a massive Gale Mirror to deflect a barrage of incoming light-spears aimed at the split-open engine room.

‎Lu Chen slowly stood up from the center of the deck, his eyes twin pools of spinning cosmic void. He didn't look at the screaming paladins or the falling debris.

‎Deep within his belly, the Void Sun core gave a single, violent lurch. Having absorbed the massive, continuous feedback of the ship’s star-core during the forge, his anchor had firmly locked itself at the absolute Peak of the Ascendant Divine Stage. The gravity field around his body was now so immense that the falling molten slag from the ceiling froze in mid-air, orbiting his head like a ring of burning stars.

‎"You came to my kitchen to count my ingredients," Lu Chen whispered, his voice carrying the planet-crushing density of an ascendant god.

‎He took a slow step forward, his bare feet sinking slightly into the freshly forged Void-Iron deck.

‎The Devouring Maw detonated on a structural, celestial scale.

‎Instead of fighting the three silver dreadnoughts, Lu Chen forced the black singularity inside his chest to expand its perimeter to four hundred yards, encompassing the entire central foundry basin. Space itself inside the hollow asteroid violently caved inward. The incoming space-crystal rapiers, the solid-light armor of the paladins, and the very sapphire energy charging in the dreadnoughts' turrets were forcefully seized, warped, and violently dragged straight into his open palms.

‎Vrrr—!

‎The three massive, five-thousand-ton silver dreadnoughts gasped through their hulls as their anti-gravity fields and starlight fuel reserves were forcefully yanked out of their engines, flowing visibly down into Lu Chen's core like water down a drain. The sleek silver hulls violently buckled inward, their structural frames snapping under the immense gravitational load before crumbling into useless heaps of twisted scrap-metal.

‎Lu Chen didn't stop the vacuum. He directed the massive torrent of stolen Council energy straight down through his legs and into the Iron Sovereign's newly integrated conduits.

‎The ship let out a deafening, mechanical roar that shook the very dust of the asteroid. The final Void-Iron plates welded themselves shut, and the dark hull completely turned a solid, light-drinking shade of pitch-black. The flagship was gone. The Void Sovereign had officially been born.

‎Lu Chen stood at the absolute tip of the newly forged prow, his skin radiating a flawless, marble-hard metallic sheen underlaid by a deep, planetary density. He reached down and grabbed the brass steering console, his pitch-black eyes locking onto the smoking exit tunnel leading back into the Star-Strand conduit.

‎"The forge is complete, Vulcan," Lu Chen growled, his flat, layered voice carrying the absolute promise of an ascendant god. "Tell the fleet to clear the way. The hunter has his teeth."

Deprived of the grand refinery’s strategic ether, the massive jade palaces and ivory towers that once floated high above the clouds had lost their anti-gravity fields [1.1].
