Chapter 053 - Invitation

Rosalyn and Rohan arrive at the gambling den with a mixture of nervous anticipation and excitement. As they walk through the entrance, they take in the sight before them. The walls are adorned with intricate mosaics of animals, plants, and stars.

“This place is beautiful,” Rohan says, his voice audible over the soft music that plays in the background.

Rosalyn nods in agreement, her gaze darting from one detail to the next.

A tall, slender woman with long, dark hair and pale skin approaches them. She is wearing an extravagant dress with a long train of fabric trailing behind her.

“I am the usherette,” she says with a smile.

“That’s a nice dress,” Rosalyn comments.

“I knew you will like it! When I heard you will come, I tried to make myself as striking as I possibly can!”

“You didn’t fail in that regard,” she says. “You like to become a model?”

“Oh god, yes, please! Mrs. Rosalyn Rugge, I am a fan of yours!”

Rosalyn smiles. “Well then, here you go,” she adds, handing her a calling card.
