"Oh, shit. I'm going to be late." Damson thought to himself as he looked at the time displayed in the taxi's dashboard.

"Can you go faster, please? I need to get to school as soon as possible or else I won't be able to get into my dorm." He pleaded with the driver.

"Do you want me to fly? Don't you tell me what to do!" the driver replied angrily.

"If you knew you were in a hurry to go back to your dorm, you would have left where you were early. It's better you shut your filthy mouth and mind yourself."

"Why so angry?" Damson muttered to himself as he decided to keep quiet.

The turn of events at the bank was still fresh in his memory and the last thing he wanted to do was to get into a fight with the driver.

When he got to school, he realized he was really late and couldn't go to the dorm again. He didn't also want the security to start asking him questions and stressing him on why he chose to come late.

Instead, he made his way to the cafeteria. The plan was to enter the cafeteria, go into the kitchen, get out and from there he will enter the back of his dorm. He was happy to come up with a plan.

He entered the cafeteria but went straight into the kitchen, hiding and making sure no one saw him. He got into the kitchen successfully only for him to feel cold, oily and slimy water on him.

"What the hell." Damson groaned out. A kitchen staff had accidentally poured dirty water on him.

"What are you doing here!?" the kitchen staff shrieked. "Are you planning to go into your dorm from the kitchen?" She asked, angrily.

"Mind your business." Damson replied through gritted teeth, taking some tissues as he tried to wipe off the stain on his clothes.

"Oh God! What is this? My clothes, how will I get this stain off?" Damson said to himself as he stood outside the cafeteria, frustrated as he tried to wipe the oily stains from his face and clothes.

"I can't believe this! It's about to happen!" A voice shouted as a group of friends rushed into the cafeteria, pushing Damson aside.

"C'mon guys, I don't want to miss it." Another voice said as a lot of students made their way into the cafeteria.

"What is happening? Why are they rushing into the cafeteria? Is there free food?" Damson wondered aloud as he tried to see what was going on but it was crowded.

"Hey, wait." Damson said to a boy, stopping him from entering the cafeteria. "What's going on in there?" He asked.

"Caleb is throwing a party for his new girlfriend." The boy replied.

"New girlfriend? He has a new girlfriend?" Damson asked, surprised.

"How about you go in and find out for yourself." The boy muttered, irritated that Damson stopped him.

Damson couldn't believe what he heard. Caleb has a new girlfriend already, after cheating on his own girlfriend? He has moved on just like that?

He hasn't forgiven Caleb for what he did, but he was surprised that he could move on easily from what he did to his girlfriend.

He entered the cafeteria to see the type of girl he finally asked to be his girlfriend but it was filled up with students as they also couldn't wait to see who Caleb was throwing a party for.

Caleb is known as the richest boy on campus, his parents are wealthy and they provide him with every single thing that he wants.

He was also handsome and he made heads turn wherever he went.

Damson forcefully made his way into the crowd, pushing till he got to the front.

Damson's face fell as soon as he saw the lady Caleb chose as his girlfriend. It was Mia!

As he moved towards her, she noticed him and walked towards him, a bright smile on her face.

"Mia…What is going on here?" Damson asked, his voice shaking as he tried to keep his emotions in check.

"What do you mean by that question? Can't you see what's going on here? Or are you blind?" She replied, disgust evident on her face.

"As of today, I'm now Caleb's girlfriend. I'm no longer with you. I'm breaking up with you." She said, smiling smugly.

"Mia… Damson muttered, what…What do you mean?" He asked, stammering.

"Are you deaf or do you want me to repeat myself?" She replied.

Gasps and murmurs went round the cafeteria as everyone saw Mia break up with Damson.

"Mia was dating Damson? Why did she do that to herself?"

"Poor thing? Must have been hard being in a relationship with a loser."

"I understand why Mia broke up with him. I'll also pick Caleb over a loser."

Damson could hear as everyone was talking about how much he was a loser and how Mia did the right thing.

"Will you close your mouth? You look like a dead fish, and even smell like one." She said as she made a stink face.

He watched as Caleb walked up to them, grabbed Mia by her wait and planted a kiss on her lips.

Damson was livid and pained. He loved Mia and saw her as a woman he planned to spend the rest of his life with.

He looked behind Caleb to see his other roommates smirking at him.

They knew about this. They knew Caleb had been seeing Mia and they also knew Caleb was going to ask her to be his girlfriend.

"Are you okay?" They asked as they stood in front of him.

"I'm sure this might have come as a bit of a shock, you should drink this, you'll feel better. One of them said, with concern as he handed a glass of alcohol to Damson.

Damson hit the hand holding the drink and grabbed the guy by the collar of his shirt. "You think this is funny?" He boomed, his face flushed with anger.

"He was just trying to help." the other said, trying to remove Damson's grip from his shirt.

"Chill out bro." He said as he separated them.

"Don't tell me that." Damson said through gritted teeth as he knew they were mocking him.

"You're such a loser! Couldn't you see they were just trying to help!?" A voice yelled out.

"He's a pathetic fool!"

"A good for nothing!"

"See his clothes, and his shoes, He looks like a beggar!"

Damson watched as everyone in the cafeteria started hurling insults and also shaming him.

All of a sudden, a car came to a screeching halt outside the cafeteria. Making everyone turn around. All the comments hurled at Damson stopped as everyone's attention was on the car.

It was a luxurious car, a Bently. The students were surprised and wanted to know why a Bently was in front of their cafeteria.

As they were staring at the car, murmuring amongst themselves, the Vice chancellor came out of the car, with a man next to him.

He walked into the cafeteria, as the students paved the way for him.

"Why is the vice chancellor here?"

"Who is the man next to him?"

"Did you see that car!?"

"Mr Malcom." The vice chancellor said, facing Damson.

"Please come with me to my office."

“I worked all my life for your father,” Luis began, his voice filled with bitterness. “Tirelessly helped him build Stellarcorp from the ground up. And when the company became big, he still used me like a fool.”“I didn’t mind at first,” he continued. “I treated Stellarcorp like it was mine too. Gave it everything. But then, out of nowhere, he decides to look for his long-lost son, to give you the company.”Luis scoffed.“He didn’t even ask me what I thought. Didn’t care. Just ordered me to find you and hand it all over. To make it worse, he told me to watch over you while you ran the company. Can you imagine that? Me, the man who brought Stellarcorp to fame, reduced to your babysitter.”“The company should have been mine, not yours. Your father’s lucky he died when he did, helping you escape. It was supposed to be you six feet under, not him. But you were just lucky that day. My men did a sloppy job.”Suddenly, a voice rang out.“Enough of your talk, just kill this bastard already!”

His head felt heavy, too big to carry. He eventually laid back down and decided to wait until the car stopped. After about twenty minutes of pure torture, the car finally came to a halt. Kate was seated beside her, and two other men were in the car with them. She didn’t fully understand what she was doing or what she had just agreed to but one thing was clear, she couldn’t die because of someone else.Damson would do the same, right? Maria wondered, now biting her nails. He’d choose survival too, even if it meant putting me in danger… right? Anyone would… right? She was disturbed.“But Damson betrayed me too. He treated me like a fool, lied to me, and deceived me. I thought that we were close, that our bond was real.”“Had he been acting all along?”“How is he even the president of StellarCorp? When did that happen?”“He was the poorest student in school. So how? It doesn’t make sense.” Maria’s thoughts raced, growing angrier by the second.“I could’ve gotten more opportunities. I could’ve had a good job in his company. I was close to him! But he de

She has someone to get rid of.”“Is that really the next thing you’re supposed to do? I don’t care what you do with Maria, but can it wait till we finish off Damson?
