It was another school day and when Nolan walked into the class, he realised that everyone was on their phones, watching something, including Cole. The whole class felt unusually quiet, not the normal noisy chatter and laughter. Almost everyone had their heads bent down, with their eyes glued to their screens, focused.Nolan frowned slightly. The first woman sighed. “I heard that the last set of investors also pulled out. Like, all of them. Not one stayed. They said the company is too unstable and risky to put their money in.”The second woman laughed bitterly. “Investors pulling out again? Then what exactly are we still doing here?”“That’s not even the worst part. I heard the bank has started pressing them again. Loans, debts, unpaid interests. Everything.
