Gerald was in awe of what he was seeing. This wasn't normal by any means. These older women were dancing in the dining river with only their lower halves in the water, and yet, they weren't drowning but were, in fact, walking beneath such a torrent

Meanwhile, the seven-year-old Alice was above the water, her eyes closed and her hands gracefully raised towards the sky.

Gerald was enthralled by the scene unfolding before his eyes. As the chants and dancing got louder, a wisp of energy filled the entire area, and it was like the world itself, composed of both living and nonliving entities, came to life that night.

The droplets of water in the air froze for a moment, as if time had stilled, and these droplets began to glow.

It was at that moment that chanting and dancing from the older women came to a still, then started with a slow rhythm. Now, it wasn't just their voices that Gerald could hear. He could hear other female voices around the river and even into the forest.
