Chapter Two

Damien's tears covered his vision, and they pushed him out of the hotel premises. The security men pushed him forward.

"If you step a foot on this boundary again, consider yourself a dead man."

Damien stares at the floor. He lacked the strength to challenge the security men; he was still shivering with his head full of thoughts.

"What am I going to do now? How am I going to raise $50000 before the end of today?"

He murmured with a heavy heart.

At that moment, some cars stopped in front of him, and a group of men rushed out of the car and forced him inside. He didn't even have the strength to talk, let alone fight.

He thought he had been kidnapped.

"Let me go! You got the wrong person; I'm not who you think I'm please."

The men didn't say a word to him, as he continues.

"Please, I'm begging you; nobody will pay you even if it's 1 dollar. Don't waste your strength."

He couldn't say anymore words when some of the men looked at him; their eyes were deadly. He decided to shut his mouth, afraid of death.

The cars stopped at the beach, and one of the men in the other car walked towards Damien.

"Take a walk with me."

He simply obeyed.

" Sir… I'm just a—"

He froze when the man bowed before him and said,

 "Young ​Master! We’ve finally

found you! Sorry for kidnapping you; we don't want anyone to see us together."

Damien furrowed his brow and asked suprisely.

"You got the wrong person. I'm just a nobody,"

The man smiles again. "You are the young master...."

Damien startled slightly and

murmured,

"You must be mistaken! I'm not who you think I am."

He grimaced sorrowfully and said, "Young Master, your father, Lord Barron, is deeply sorry about what happened. At a very young age, someone tried to take your life three times, but he failed, and the last attempt cost the life of your mother. Lady Emma Lord Barron couldn't afford to lose his heir, so he faked your death just to keep you safe and find who was behind Lady Emma's assassination."

Damien couldn't move or say anything as he listened.

"He handed you over to his loyal maid. Both of you had an accident on your way back from her hometown; she died on the spot, and you weren't found. We have been looking for you ever since then."

Damien couldn't get his head around what the man was saying.

He was still in disbelief.

"How are you sure I'm the man you're looking for?"

"We did our investigations, just to further confirm it. We took your blood at the hospital and did a DNA test, and it was confirmed on our way here. You are Lord Barron's only son."

The man taps Damien's shoulder.

"Lord Barron knows you have suffered hardship all these years. He wants me to protect you, and he also wants you to keep your identity safe for the moment. Those people after your life might still be around the corner."

Damien's eyebrows raised a little. His life is still not safe. He wanted to say something when the man tapped his arms.

"Don't worry, we will protect you. Nobody will lay a finger on you."

"Take this card; the pin is your birthday." He handed over the

Premium Gold Card from Royal Crown Bank ​

Damien's hands were shaking as he received the black golden card; he knew what it meant, and he could see the turn his life was taking.

The man could see the look on Damien's face. He must explain everything to the young master.

"There are only five of these cards in this country."

"Can we discuss all this later? I have so many things to ask, but not now."

Damien remembered his mom at the hospital; he couldn't keep her waiting, and time was against him. Now that he has money, he should rush to the hospital and make payment immediately.

"I am going to Bliss Angel Hospital to save my mom."

The man hesitated before he spoke.

"Young master, don't trouble yourself about that. We will take you there."

"Don't worry about that. I will enter a taxi."

Damien couldn't get his head straight. Some minutes ago, he thought he was being kidnapped. Now he's the heir to the Barron family.

"Young master, if you experience any issue, just call me; in fact,  Bliss Angel Hospital belongs to the Barron group. You're the owner!"

Damien's jaw slacked; he almost went crazy.

"What!!" 

He still couldn't get his head around this. It was as if he were dreaming, and He didn't want to wake up from it.

"Young master, please take this card and my number in case you need anything."

"How much is on this card?"

Damien asked

"Lord Barron said he deposited some pocket money for you. It's not much, just one billion dollars."

"One billion dollars!"

He was shocked. His eyes opened widely.

He has heard of the Barron family before; rumors say they are the hidden kings of Blue Island, and they are based aboard.

If one billion dollars is just pocket money, then the Barron family should be worth over ten trillion dollars.

The Master said you should keep your identity hidden; he fears those after your life might strike again. Use the money for your living expenses."

with an alarming look on Damien's face. The man continues.

Oh, I almost forgot, Blue Isno Largest investment company, the Globex Corporation, with a market value of 500 billion dollars, had been wholly moved under your care. Lord Barron wants you to get some experience in managing a company. All the equities are now under your name."

Damien listened to him in a daze, completely in disbelief. A premium gold card with one billion

dollars, Globex Corporation, with a net worth of $500 billion

dollars!

He was finding everything interesting.

"What about my identity? If I start going to work, people might notice me."

"Young master, you don't need to be present at work every day; the company directors will report the company's activities to you; yours is to learn."

He could see the worried look on the master's face.

"Young Master, take your time to settle down; I will inform the director of Bliss Angel Hospital of your coming."

"What is your name?"

He bows his head.

 "Benjamin! Young master, your taxi has arrived."

Damien entered the taxi; he knew the person he called mom wasn't his biological mother, but she has always provided him with anything he asks for. He thought his mother died in that car accident; he couldn't remember much, and Benjamin just said she wasn't his true mom but a loyal maid.

"Take me to Bliss Angel Hospital.”
