Robert said as he walked away. Silver was overjoyed that Jonathan Gael was here. She thought it wouldn't be possible to get him because his whereabouts in Hills City was unknown, but her brother did a fantastic job in finding him and bringing him on time.

“I am sorry for all the troubles, Jonathan Gael was our first choice, now that he is here, my family wouldn't let you operate on him anymore.

I apologize for all the stress.”

Silver said with more light to her face than ever before.

Michael just gave her a small nod.

“I don't mind lurking around. I still have some minutes to spare.”

Michael could see the light on Silver's face. She didn't treat him poorly just because Jonathan Gael was here, and that goes to show her character, and he doesn't mind sticking around to see how the medication would go.

The fact that Sir Christopher knew about him meant that somebody that knew some of his secrets referred him to Sir Christopher.

Since he was already in the scene he had to ensure everything was fine before he left.

That was one of his aged rules. Silver lips formed a half smile hearing Micheal's words. Who wouldn't want to see the miraculous Jonathan Gael in action. Michael had said it earlier that he knew a little about medicine so this was his chance to know more of course he was bound to stay.

“Okay, come with me to the bedroom.”

Silver and Micheal entered the spacious bedroom at that moment.

sir Christopher's children were standing close to the bed along with Jonathan who was examining Christopher's body.

All the doctors were standing from afar with many of them taking notes. Without being told Michael stopped close to where the doctor was standing while Silver went to join her siblings.

Seeing her father's condition once more, her face became moody again.

“Why is he not talking?”

Silver couldn't help but ask her senior brother, Noah Snowman.

“I don't know, as soon as you guys left. It got worse and he lost his voice.

I just hope that Jonathan Gael can help him regain his voice back not just heal him”

Silver was tense once more. Robert was also tense and he looked at Silver with a frown.

“Why did you let that pauper inside? We don't need him anymore.”

He was angry that Michael was sticking around the house. Silver responded by looking at him.

“He says he wants to take a look at Jonathan Gael's approach on treatment.”

Robert's expression darkened but he decided to let it slide.

Jonathan was done examining Sir Christopher and he decided to address everyone.

“He ate something that he was allergic to and it triggered the ancestry sickness that has been dormant in his body all this while.

All the symptoms he has been having are the symptoms of the white onion gas.”

Jonathan's words caused the room to be noisey. All the doctors started muttering to themselves.

“The white onion gas. I thought that was a fairy tale.

Who would've thought it actually exists!”

“I have never heard of the white onion gas before but I saw it on the ten most deadly illnesses in a book. I didn't know it existed until now.”

The words from the doctors were causing panic in Silver and her siblings.

Jonathan raised his hands and the noise died down immediately. He turned to face the Snowman family to address them.

“The white onion gas is one of the most deadly illnesses somebody could have, it's a miracle that your father hasn't given up the ghost already.

There is no known medicine for it, but there is a way.  I will have to extract all the gas from his body otherwise he wouldn't survive another day.”

Silver and siblings' faces sank at that moment. Robert spoke out in a hurry.

“Please miracle doctor do whatever it takes to save my dad.”

“You have my permission to operate on him, the earlier the better, we will provide anything you need for the extraction of the white onion gas, just name them.”

Noah said after his brother. Silver didn't really know what to say. She was afraid so she managed to nod agreeing to her brother's words.

“Okay, we have no time to waste. I don't need any equipment from you. I have all the equipment I need here in my pocket.”

Jonathan said as he brought out a box that contained several needles.

All the doctors in the premises were super excited now and amazed. They had no idea the white onion gas could be cured and Jonathan wasn't going to use medicine for it but acupuncture method, and that was something only grand masters in medicine could do.

He wasn't the miraculous doctor of Hills City for nothing.

Jonathan brought the sets of needles he was going to use out. Sir Christopher's clothes were already removed so he didn't have to wait for that.

He gently tapped his hands on Sir Christopher's stomach, carefully finding the pressure points of the onion gas, when he was done feeling it, he started inserting the needles one after the other on the areas he felt the pressure of the gas on.

Jonathan was done inserting all the needles in his hands, making it a total of ten needles that he had inserted on Sir Christopher's stomach.

“I will now begin the process of extracting the white onion gas.”

Jonathan said to everyone. He wanted to start twisting the needles to different sides so the gas would start coming out when somebody voiced from the doctor's standing point.

“You are making a grave mistake. If you twist the needles now, he would be dead within twenty minutes.”

Everyone turned to face the direction the voice came from and it was Michael.

Michael stepped forward and continued.

“You got the white onion gas right. That is truly the disease he is suffering from, but you are forgetting to put the needles on his head as well.

The white onion gas is a deadly disease once you start extracting it, it would find places it could hide, and the brain is not the place you want it to be and that is where it would surely go first.

You have to put double of what you put on his stomach on his head for this extraction to be successful.”

Brother James started laughing. It was not a warm laugh. It was the kind of laugh that carried mockery in every note of it, sharp and dismissive, the laugh of a man who believed he still held something over the person standing in front of him."You don't actually know what you are getting yourself into," he said, shaking his head slowly as the laughter faded into a smirk. "It's not even featuring you. Just imagine. You are going to see the difference in power. You are going to see it clearly. You are going to find out that you are not worthy of anything here. That you are not capable of anything against what is waiting for you above. That is what you are going to see. And when it comes to brute strength, you are definitely—"Michael punched him in the chest. The movement was sudden and devastating, no warning, no wind up, no moment where Brother James could have seen it coming and braced himself. One second Michael was walking toward him, and the next his fist had driven straight into

Michael said nothing. He did not stop walking. He did not even glance around at the bodies on the floor or the rivers of blood still spreading slowly across the concrete. His eyes were fixed forward, calm and steady, and his steps were slow and even as he moved closer to Brother James with the kind of unhurried patience that made the whole thing feel more threatening than if he had been running.Brother James watched him coming and kept talking."Well, I will not lie to you," he said, his voice carrying a grudging edge to it. "You have potential. Real potential. That much I cannot deny."He paused."But that potential is going to be of great waste to you. Because Mr. Giovanni will not allow this to slide. You cannot just walk in here, kill seventy of his workers, and expect the man to simply let it go. That is not how this works. That is not how he works."Michael kept walking.Brother James continued."I know why you are this confident. I know why you are walking toward me like that.

Without wasting another second, Matthew was gone.He turned and dashed toward the stairs, his feet hitting the floor fast and hard, moving with urgency, driven by both fear and the strange excitement of what lay ahead of him. His figure disappeared quickly, swallowed by the chaos of flashing red lights and the still-screaming alarm as he pushed toward the upper floors.Brother James watched him go.And for a brief moment, something in him settled slightly. He exhaled.Matthew was on his way.Mr. Giovanni would hear about this soon. And Brother James knew one thing about Mr. Giovanni with absolute certainty. The man did not let things slide. He never had. Whatever was happening on this floor, whatever embarrassment was unfolding down here, it would not go unanswered once the boss became aware of it. Mr. Giovanni would respond, and he would respond in a way that would remind everyone why his name carried the weight it did.So Brother James told himself he had nothing to worry about. Not

  • Chapter 82

At that moment, Brother James stood there watching, and what he saw made him slowly shake his head. Not in disbelief anymore, In shame.Michael was not even fighting them in the way a man fights when he is pushed hard and struggling to survive. He was moving through them the way a man moves through a crowd at a market, casually, almost effortlessly, sending bodies flying in every direction like they weighed nothing at all. He was kicking them into each other, using their own men as weapons against their own men, and the floor was filling up with groaning, broken bodies faster than anyone could count. It was embarrassing. It was deeply, painfully humiliating. An outsider was doing this to the bear organization.Brother James let the weight of that sit in his chest for a moment, and it burned worse than the pain still running through his body from the slap. Then he exhaled slowly and muttered to himself. What did I even expect? What exactly did I expect from a man who has already reache

Then the man moved. His arm snapped forward, and the knife flew out of his hand. The blade tore through the air with frightening speed, so fast and sharp that it seemed to drag the wind along with it. It came straight for Michael's head. The man was already smiling, to him, this was a perfect throw.A perfect hit, a clean finish. But just before the knife could reach him, Michael turned around and caught it.Just like that.He caught the knife with his bare hand. The attacker's smile died at once. His jaw dropped.“Huh?” he let out, his face twisting in shock. “How—”Before he could complete the word, the knife broke. It snapped inside Michael's hand as if it had been made of dry wood instead of metal. The sound of it was small, but in that moment, it felt louder than the blaring alarm. The man's jaw dropped even more, his eyes stretching wide in raw disbelief."What the hell is going on? Who is he?, how was he able to do that?"His mind could not catch up. It was still struggling to

The moment Brother James gave the order, the men around Michael tightened their grip on their weapons. Some shifted their feet, Some lowered their shoulders. Some bent slightly, ready to rush him all at once just as they had been told. But before any of them could make the first move, Michael had already started walking toward them.He did not run, he did not hurry.he simply walked forward with a calm, steady step that made the whole scene feel even more disturbing. It was the kind of walk a man took when he was not entering danger, but moving toward something he had already decided to finish. The flashing red lights swept over his face, but they did nothing to change the cold stillness there. As Michael drew closer, something in him sharpened. It was not just the sight of the men, not just the knives in their hands. Not just the rage in their faces. It was the blood, he could sense it.Not on one man, not on two.On all of them.Every man standing in front of him carried it.It was
