Michael's words stunned everyone to the bone.

Can something still be done despite the damage that had already happened.

Without wasting time, Silver shot her brother a deadly glare. Noah was the first to speak out.

“I underestimated you a while ago and it's about to cost my father life. If there is anything you can do, please do it immediately to save his life.

You have my approval.”

Robert struggled with the words but not saying anything and his father dying would be the worst experience for him because everyone would pin the death on him.

“Please help him if you can.”

Robert said, trying to contain his disappointment for Elder Jonathan.

Just then Elder Jonathan voiced out.

“There is nothing anybody can do anymore. The gas has already damaged his brain and the black blood he coughed out was from his heart. His heart is already beyond repair.

He is lying.”

Elder Jonathan was trying to paint his image with knowledge.

Silver was puzzled now, truly the condition looked beyond help but why would Michael be lying, could all this just be for a show, after all, Michael didn't clearly state that he would be able to treat her father.

“if I could extract the gas from his forehead. I would've done it immediately when I saw the signs, but there is no way that can be done and the only way to heal somebody from gas disease is to extract the disease.”

Elder Jonathan continued while still kneeling on the floor.

“You can still save him right. You have all of us permission now.”

Silver said in a worried tone.

Michael just stepped forward at that moment.

“Get me a glass of water”

He said when he approached Sir Christopher. Michael's request was odd but they followed through immediately. In less than two minutes a glass of water was handed to Michael by the maids in the room.

“What is he planning on doing.”

All the doctors were whispering to themselves at this moment and their voices could be heard due to the dead silence in the room.

Sir Christopher wasn't coughing anymore. It felt like he was dead but yet Michael was still continuing with whatever he wanted to do, anyway they weren't close enough to really tell if Sir Christopher was already dead.

Jonathan who was kneeling on the floor could see clearly that Sir Christopher was dead, yet Michael was still going on with whatever he wanted to do.

He believed Michael wanted to play a game here and he would expose Michael immediately he did, at least that would remove some stain from his reputation.

Silver and her siblings didn't know anything about medicine for illnesses but their father had stopped coughing for a minute now and that was alarming.

They believe he was dead but Michael wasn't saying anything.

As soon as the glass of water was given to Michael, Michael brought out a black pill from his pocket. He squeezed the black pill with two of his fingers, pouring the particles directly into the water.

When he was done pouring all of the particles inside the water, Michael gently started shaking the glass of water, ensuring that the particles were fully mixed with the water.

There was no rush in Micheal movement. It was as if nothing was at stake, like everyone was in a biology practice in a school.

When Michael was done shaking the glass of water which took about three minutes. He opened Sir Christopher's mouth and started pouring the already mixed water in his mouth.

“What is he doing.”

“Is this some kind of medicine to white onion gas? I thought you can't cure it through medicine.”

All the doctors were whispering to themselves once more again.

Jonathan didn't know what Micheal was doing, but he was relaxed, can a dead man be brought to life, the answer was simply no.

Michael continued pouring the mixed water on Sir Christopher's mouth until it was down to the last drop, he made sure there wasn't a single liquid on the glass cup before he put it away.

The reason nobody could hear Sir Christopher's heart beat was because the gas had covered his chest region and his lungs as well, however, he wasn't dead yet. He was close to it, but not close enough for Michael to be worried.

When Michael was done, he positioned Sir Christopher properly on the bed again.

“Is that all.”

Robert couldn't help but ask. Without waiting for Michael to respond he went to touch his father neck and he continued.

“He is dead isn't it, why bother wasting our time if he is already dead.”

Robert couldn't understand what Michael was doing.

“Is this some kind of joke to you? Is our father's death some kind of joke to you that you have to play with the body as well.”

Jonathan smiled seeing one the Snowman family had finally caught up to Michael madness.

He stood up at that moment.

“Sadly Sir Christopher Snowman was dead even before the water was brought. The moment he stopped coughing that was when he gave up the ghost.

It's so sad that I didn't know this was a different kind of white onion gas. Even if I had put the needles on his forehead he would've still died.”

Jonathan saw this as an opportunity to restore his reputation back.

There was no truth claim to say putting several needles on Sir Christopher would've saved him.

Michael who had made the claim was practically fooling around now, causing everyone to unlikely take his words as true anymore.

One of the doctors stepped and voiced out pointing fingers at Michael.

“I noticed he was dead at the time the water was brought and I wonder why he was still carrying on with the process. Could it be that at close range he couldn't tell that Sir Christopher was already dead.”

The doctor's words gave light to speculation immediately.

“If he couldn't tell that Sir Christopher was dead at that close range then he is not a medical doctor.

This boy is a fraudstar.”

“Even young master Robert, who isn't a doctor, could tell that his father was dead, let alone a real doctor.

This is unreal to believe!”

Elder Jonathan felt like laughing out loudly at this moment. Michael authenticity had completely been scattered to the ground. He was starting to wonder if Michael didn't make a wild guess just now on the needles and if Michael was even a doctor.

What a fool, he could've just stayed silent.

“I said it from the beginning that it was a different kind of White onion gas that he couldn't be saved anymore, but I was surprised when this wack mentioned that he could be saved and looked at the method he planned to save somebody suffering from one of the most deadly diseases in the world, water and a black pill that nobody knew what it could be.

For all we know, that pill could've tarnished Sir Christopher internals as we speak!

This was beyond the will to help but a criminal practice, imagine not knowing if his patient was dead or not, how can somebody like that call himself a doctor.

That absurdity in the highest order!”

Everyone started jumping in again.

“Is he really dead.”

Noah said as he stepped in to touch his father on the neck. He did and it was true that his father was dead.

“I thought you said you could help him, are you even a real doctor?”

Noah sounded angrily. Silver was behind Michael and didn't really know what to say.

“Is he really dead.”

She asked Micheal without going to confirm it. The place was dead silent as everyone waited to hear Micheal respond.

“He is not dead. He is resting.”

Michael responded to Silver because she was the only one that didn't went to confirm for herself.

Everyone's faces squeezed immediately Michael said that.

“No more playing games here!!!”

Jonathan screamed out. He wanted to voice out again when Sir Christopher suddenly started coughing.

Brother James started laughing. It was not a warm laugh. It was the kind of laugh that carried mockery in every note of it, sharp and dismissive, the laugh of a man who believed he still held something over the person standing in front of him."You don't actually know what you are getting yourself into," he said, shaking his head slowly as the laughter faded into a smirk. "It's not even featuring you. Just imagine. You are going to see the difference in power. You are going to see it clearly. You are going to find out that you are not worthy of anything here. That you are not capable of anything against what is waiting for you above. That is what you are going to see. And when it comes to brute strength, you are definitely—"Michael punched him in the chest. The movement was sudden and devastating, no warning, no wind up, no moment where Brother James could have seen it coming and braced himself. One second Michael was walking toward him, and the next his fist had driven straight into

Michael said nothing. He did not stop walking. He did not even glance around at the bodies on the floor or the rivers of blood still spreading slowly across the concrete. His eyes were fixed forward, calm and steady, and his steps were slow and even as he moved closer to Brother James with the kind of unhurried patience that made the whole thing feel more threatening than if he had been running.Brother James watched him coming and kept talking."Well, I will not lie to you," he said, his voice carrying a grudging edge to it. "You have potential. Real potential. That much I cannot deny."He paused."But that potential is going to be of great waste to you. Because Mr. Giovanni will not allow this to slide. You cannot just walk in here, kill seventy of his workers, and expect the man to simply let it go. That is not how this works. That is not how he works."Michael kept walking.Brother James continued."I know why you are this confident. I know why you are walking toward me like that.

Without wasting another second, Matthew was gone.He turned and dashed toward the stairs, his feet hitting the floor fast and hard, moving with urgency, driven by both fear and the strange excitement of what lay ahead of him. His figure disappeared quickly, swallowed by the chaos of flashing red lights and the still-screaming alarm as he pushed toward the upper floors.Brother James watched him go.And for a brief moment, something in him settled slightly. He exhaled.Matthew was on his way.Mr. Giovanni would hear about this soon. And Brother James knew one thing about Mr. Giovanni with absolute certainty. The man did not let things slide. He never had. Whatever was happening on this floor, whatever embarrassment was unfolding down here, it would not go unanswered once the boss became aware of it. Mr. Giovanni would respond, and he would respond in a way that would remind everyone why his name carried the weight it did.So Brother James told himself he had nothing to worry about. Not

At that moment, Brother James stood there watching, and what he saw made him slowly shake his head. Not in disbelief anymore, In shame.Michael was not even fighting them in the way a man fights when he is pushed hard and struggling to survive. He was moving through them the way a man moves through a crowd at a market, casually, almost effortlessly, sending bodies flying in every direction like they weighed nothing at all. He was kicking them into each other, using their own men as weapons against their own men, and the floor was filling up with groaning, broken bodies faster than anyone could count. It was embarrassing. It was deeply, painfully humiliating. An outsider was doing this to the bear organization.Brother James let the weight of that sit in his chest for a moment, and it burned worse than the pain still running through his body from the slap. Then he exhaled slowly and muttered to himself. What did I even expect? What exactly did I expect from a man who has already reache

Then the man moved. His arm snapped forward, and the knife flew out of his hand. The blade tore through the air with frightening speed, so fast and sharp that it seemed to drag the wind along with it. It came straight for Michael's head. The man was already smiling, to him, this was a perfect throw.A perfect hit, a clean finish. But just before the knife could reach him, Michael turned around and caught it.Just like that.He caught the knife with his bare hand. The attacker's smile died at once. His jaw dropped.“Huh?” he let out, his face twisting in shock. “How—”Before he could complete the word, the knife broke. It snapped inside Michael's hand as if it had been made of dry wood instead of metal. The sound of it was small, but in that moment, it felt louder than the blaring alarm. The man's jaw dropped even more, his eyes stretching wide in raw disbelief."What the hell is going on? Who is he?, how was he able to do that?"His mind could not catch up. It was still struggling to

It was the kind of walk a man took when he was not entering danger, but moving toward something he had already decided to finish. The flashing red lights swept over his face, but they did nothing to change the cold stillness there. As Michael drew closer, something in him sharpened. It was not just the sight of the men, not just the knives in their hands. Not just the rage in their faces. It was the blood, he could sense it.Not on one man, not on two.On all of them.Every man standing in front of him carried it.It was
