“Huh?”

Everyone turned toward Micheal as he walked toward one of the computers. Without saying a word, the employees moved aside and gave him space. Even Vivian remained silent, watching him carefully as he pulled out a chair and sat down.

Only a few minutes ago, Micheal had claimed that he knew only a little about cybersecurity. Yet he had analyzed Vivian’s approach almost instantly and correctly predicted that the attackers would break through again.

Now, he was about to prove whether he had

Evelyn was beginning to realize that Micheal's control over vehicles was far beyond anything she had imagined. The more she watched him, the more she felt the need to reconsider everything she thought she knew about him. What exactly was this man incapable of doing? He had impressive medical knowledge, exceptional fighting skills, and a level of firearms expertise that seemed to exceed even her own. He had also managed to track down her location simply by calling her, and now he was displaying driving skills that were almost unbelievable. Every new ability only strengthened her suspicion that Micheal was some kind of secret agent.Unable to resist her curiosity, Evelyn turned slightly and studied him as he drove. Micheal looked completely focused on the road, his expression serious as he manoeuvred the car through the parking garage.“Is there a flower growing on my face, or have you finally decided to accept my advances because

Screeech! The tyres screamed against the concrete floor as Micheal slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a sudden stop barely a metre from the barricade. The loud noise echoed throughout the parking garage, and the terrorists standing in front of the vehicles stared in amazement. None of them had expected him to stop at the last possible moment, especially after watching him charge toward them at such terrifying speed.Bringing a speeding car to a complete stop within such a short distance required more than simply pressing the brake pedal. The driver needed precise control over the vehicle, perfect timing and the ability to manage its momentum without losing control. A mistake could cause the car to skid sideways or crash into the barricade, turning the situation into a disaster for everyone inside. Yet Micheal had performed the manoeuvre with such accuracy that the car stopped exactly where he wanted it to.<

“Nothing. I'm not planning anything crazy,” Micheal replied with a grin before pressing his foot hard against the accelerator. The car immediately shot forward, its speed increasing so rapidly that the terrorists in the vehicles ahead had no choice but to move out of its path. None of them was willing to risk a head-on collision with a car travelling at such a terrifying speed, especially in the crowded parking garage where even a slight mistake could result in a fatal accident.Micheal chuckled as he watched them scatter. “I thought you were brave.”“Do you think those men value their lives as little as you do?” Evelyn shot back, rolling her eyes at him.She knew this was only the beginning of whatever Micheal had planned, and the thought made her uneasy. The parking garage was already crowded with parked vehicles, leaving very little room to manoeuvre, yet Micheal was driving

“Do you see the problem you've caused?” Evelyn asked, rolling her eyes as she turned to look at the cars chasing them.“But it's not my fault. I simply didn't want to waste money,” Micheal grumbled, still unwilling to admit that going back for the shopping bags had been a terrible decision.“Yeah, and now an entire terrorist group is after us because you couldn't leave a few bags of clothes behind.”Evelyn let out an irritated breath and fastened her seat belt, deciding that there was little point in continuing the argument. What had happened had already happened, and she knew Micheal well enough to understand that he would never accept the blame, no matter how much she complained. Besides, he was the one who had put them in this situation, so she was confident that he must have some way of getting them out. What exactly he planned to do was none of her concern; she would leave that problem entirely in his hands.“Evelyn, do you have any idea how we're going to escape? They're already

“Huh?”Evelyn stared at Micheal in disbelief. Had this man completely lost his mind? They had finally managed to escape the terrorists, yet he was talking about going back inside the mall for a few shopping bags. What the hell was he thinking?“Both of you, get into the car and lie down. I'll be back in a minute,” Micheal said, seemingly unaware of her reaction.“Micheal, what the hell are you thinking?” Evelyn demanded. “Do you understand what's happening inside that building?”“I can't just leave the clothes behind. They're too expensive, and I don't like wasting money.”He shook his head as though that settled the matter.“But—”“No buts. Get into the car and wait for me. I'll be back before you know it.”Evelyn looked at him, unable to believe what she was hearing. Micheal, however, only smiled reassuringly.“Don't worry about me. Everything will be fine. Just stay here with her and wait for me.”Before Evelyn could argue again, he turned and hurried away.“Get into the car,” Evel

“Are you sure this is going to work, Micheal?” Evelyn whispered as they moved along the corridor.“Don't worry. Just follow my lead,” Micheal replied, keeping the pistol pointed toward them as he maintained his disguise.“All right.”Evelyn nodded and tightened her grip on the saleswoman's trembling hand. The woman's frightened expression looked completely natural, so Micheal wasn't worried about her. Evelyn, however, was another matter. She was still carrying herself like a trained police officer rather than someone being dragged along by an armed terrorist. If she continued behaving that way, anyone who paid close attention might become suspicious.“Walk faster, or I'll blow your head off!” Micheal suddenly barked, making sure his voice carried through the corridor. The saleswoman let out a frightened whimper and hurried forward.“Please don't shoot us!”“Shut up and keep walking!” Micheal growled.Evelyn frowned but said nothing. She knew Micheal was only acting, yet his voice sound
