In the morning, Charlotte stirred awake with a pounding headache. Her body stiff against the leather seat of her car.

Cold realization struck her as her body brushed past her bare skin. She was naked and vulnerable. And worse, she remembered nothing about what had happened the previous day.

She grew ghostly pale. Her clothes were tossed carelessly outside the door and on the driver's seat lounged a man, sleeping like he just ran a marathon.

Panic painted her pale face. Imagination running loose in her mind. She looked down, and her world crumbled.

She had lost her virginity.

Her eyes, darted off to the man. 'Handsome.’ annoying. But his cheap dusty clothes screamed of poverty, as if he just walked out of the Sahara.

Shame and rage tangled into her chest. She, the jewel of Mog, the woman men fought for to win, had been defiled… By a nobody.

The bitter sensation clawing in her throat made her scream.

"You are awake already.” Hudderson's voice was calm, almost amused. “Seems the third round really did the job!"

Charlotte's blood boiled. “Third round?” Her voice thundered, trembling with disbelief. Not once, not twice. She felt like retching

It wasn't enough that she had to put up with a mad man having his way with her. It happened three straight times? She felt like punking.

Hudderson leaned lazily against the seat. “You don't have to feel bad about it. You did what had to be done!"

To him it was a joke. To Charlotte it was mockery. Though his face remained almost unreadable.

But she was sure. Beneath it was an unreadable expression that lay a spark of victory. And smirk that crowned his male ego. He has gotten what every other me in the city so eagerly chased after.

Her stomach boiled with rot.

"How dare you?” Charlotte roared, her fist trembling. “You took advantage of me and still dare to flaunt it on my face?"

Hudderson's gaze darkened "You don't remember?"

The drug must have been given to her in an overdose to make her forget everything that would happen after it had been done.

Whoever was responsible for drugging her wanted her desperately, her memories of the past few hours wiped out completely.

"Don't you even remember the thugs?" Each syllable in his words only heightened her anger by step.

"What do I need to remember?" Her rage increased, her foot stomping to the floor.

"You found me in the car. Vulnerable and drunk and you decided to be the pathetic man that you are and take advantage of me?" She growled, almost eating Hudderson up.

"Careful Luv.” Hudderson's words sharpened. “You might want to change a bit of that narrative. You were all over me, begging  me desperately just a few hours ago to..." Charlotte's face burned crimson, hazy images of last night, the party, the drinks, running off to her mother's grave, and then, nothing… Nothing apart from begging the little nobody to quench her dying crave.

" If there's anything. You took advantage of me!" Hudderson added more fuel to the flames.

She had been drugged at the party she had the previous night before rushing over to pay homage to her late mother's grave at the last minute.

Her stomach squeezed tightly against itself and the bitter sensation of regret stung her throat.

Shame washed over Charlotte. Out of all the men in the world, it had to be a filthy stranger.

"That still doesn't give you any right... To.. to!" She hissed.

"Don't act like you're the Innocent one here. You used me.

I'm sure you did your research very well. You must have been stalking me and noticed the perfect opportunity to use me!" She accused with pointed fingers.

Hudderson flung a death stare at her. Nobody had ever raised their voice one tenth at the supreme ruler and lived to tell the story.

And Charlotte's words, rolled off with heavy blown curses.

Hudderson exhaled, bringing himself to a calm.

"I don't even know who you are, nor do I care. Believe it or not.”

Charlotte gasped. The lies. She was the pearl of the city. Men had images of her stalking their wars. She wasn't on an X-rated site but more harm was done with her pictures. Bloggers stormed after every week, just wanting to take her pictures.

Yet he claims ignorance?

"You liar” She snapped.

"Do you think I'm going to believe that?"

"Does it look like I care if you are going to believe that?" Hudderson replied flatly.

"Besides, what has been done has been done . Gather yourself together and stop shoveling blame!"

Hudderson's composure only fueled her fury. Revenge sneered in her vines. She wanted to make him pay, ruin him.

But If words got out about this, her precious reputation would be tainted, stained like the raw stench of poverty that oozed off from this man.

She glared at him, her lips trembling with rage. “If you know what's best for you, you will keep silent. If a word of this leaks, you will be as good as dead.”

“I will not be caught with a stinky little fly like yourself.”

Hudderson yawned, clearly bored.

"Yes... Luv!" He responded.

Her face burned.

Charlotte's teeth clenched. “Don't ever call me that again. Now get out of my car!" She shoved him aside and sped away, tires screeching against the woods.

Three favours. Saving her from the thugs, helping her with the antidote to the sickness, and protecting her all night in the middle of nowhere in the car.

And yet that was so much of the gratitude that he got.

Behind her, Hudderson brushed dust off from his shirt and pulled out his phone.

"Supreme Ruler!" The voice was coated with so much respect and reverence. Fear is still rooted deep within.

With his voice suddenly turning dim, Hudderson inquired. "Any news about her?"

"Yes... Yes, Supreme Ruler. Our informants have revealed that she's in some kind of trouble at the moment. I wrote her address to you sir right away.

If you want help with anything or helping us fix her... We should.”

"No.” Hudderson's tone cuts like a blade.

"This's my call. And I will not want any interference! Just send me the details. That's the only assistance I want from you." The voice at the other end didn't dare to object.

"Troubles!" Hudderson's fist clenched tightly. Whatever it is, he was going to face it for her.

Soon, his phone flashed. Most of her details had been cleared from all social media sites.

Miss. Sinclair lost her mother years ago to cancer. Though she runs a multi million venture, they are just running in depths now because of her mom's hospital bills.

And now, she was about to fake marry Jackson, one of the wealthy billionaires in the city after taking a loan from him and promising to marry him if he could not pay back.

When everything crumbled, she had to keep to her words. The marriage which had been slated for today.

Hudderson arrived at the address. The majestic house mocked his simple looks. Residence of the Sinclairs' family and somehow, it burned with familiarity.

Then, a voice snapped at him, deepened with mockery.

"Hello, little mutt. Missed your way?" The guard stationed at the gate inquired, with a false sense of concern.

"I'm here to see Miss. Sinclair!"

"Oh. Another horny dude! The guard returned, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, she's getting married. Take your slacked di*k elsewhere.”

With his uneasiness still rising at the sight of Hudderson who didn't look like he was there to joke, Harry remained the way he was, unable to utter even a word. “I asked a question, Uncle! Where is Aunt Sabrina?” Hudderson asked, moving closer to Harry, who curled up on the couch, leaning backward in nervousness. “Calm down, Hudderson! She should be around somewhere! Maybe I should go fetch her for you.” Harry said with a shaky tone, trying to find a means to escape. Hudderson stood still, glaring at the middle-aged man whose heartbeat was becoming more aggressive than it was a moment earlier. Apparently, shame was not the only feeling that had engulfed him at that moment. He was also scared to his teeth and struggled with the guilt of his actions. He knew he had done a lot to offend Hudderson and was wary of the day of reckoning coming faster than he had envisaged. “Allow me to go get her for you, Hudderson! I will go tell her that you are here to see

CHAPTER HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN“My name is Elliot Cameron, and I will be your host for today. Today, we have amazing deals for you! So many choices just to satisfy you. We took note of all the reviews and demands you made on the secret website, and we decided to adjust the amount of goods to be purchased.” Elliot was elated, as he spoke to his audience, moving from one corner to the other, displaying his brief stature. There were two bodyguards in similar white suits just like the man at the door, and they looked as though they were robots, standing at the two ends of the large curtain behind the stage. “We know you will be wondering why we had to push the time for the auction closer. Well, you will get to find out really soon. We couldn't wait to show you the juicy deals we have for you tonight! I am sure you are gonna love them!” There was a little murmuring from the people seated at the various tables in the hall, as gestures and utterances of expectations filled the air. “I

CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SIX For a while Hudderson was silent, but the old man was eager to hear what he was going to say. The look on his face showed mixed feelings, but the stillness in the living room was making everyone tense. “I was hoping to hear someday that there could be a chance that Hela was still alive. This means that there is hope, Lancel.” Hudderson forced a smile on his face even though the revelation from the old man could mean one of two things. It was either that his sister had been killed by the men who took her or that she was held captive for some reason. He only hoped for the latter. However, since there was only one hard way of finding out, Hudderson pocketed the piece of paper after folding it carefully before he turned to face Lancel who was drenched in perspiration of guilt and remorse. “I wish I had told you earlier, Master Hudderson. I have no excuse for keeping such information from you. Please forgive my cowardice, there

CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIVE Leonard was lost between getting down on his knees and remaining the way he was. It was obvious that he had lost the bet, but he never thought that he was going to lose his dignity as well. If only he had minded his business. Hudderson was in a haste to move on to another activity, but Leonard had to suffer for his utterances, he had to make sure he dealt with him. “Get on your knees, Leo! Kiss my feet!” Hudderson pointed at his shiny shoes, causing Leonard to look around him as though he wasn’t aware that everyone had their eyes on him. He couldn’t handle the fact that angry eyes were glaring at him, and to give them a reason to consider taking it easy on him for his misleading prediction, he decided to do what he was asked to do, leaving with no other option. “Good. Now kiss my feet.” Hudderson said as soon as Leonard had gone down on his knees, taking a few seconds before he placed the second knee on the marble tile. “Hurry up, Leo. I have

CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FOUR Most of the people in the room knew who Hudderson was, and seeing that he had the ring on his finger, they knew he had regained power as one of the members of the Triple-Legend family, the noblest and most powerful group not only in Moscow but also in Russia and beyond. Tiara had a similar ring on her finger, but hers had the head of an eagle, the symbol of the Gusev family. She proudly showcased it to everyone who cared to look, even though they had seen it thousands of times. Leonard saw that things were no longer moving the way he expected, but he was relentless and attempted to turn things back in his favor. “Hudderson? I heard that the Zordan company is no longer as massive as it used to be. News everywhere says that your family has lost quite a ton of money. You are going bankrupt.” There was a loud murmuring following the words that Leonard spoke. He nodded in satisfaction when he realized that everyone was still paying attention. “Hudd

  • Chapter 223

CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-THREE Tiara’s family owned the second-biggest company after the Zordans. The Gusev company was a capital market operator, dealing mainly with the distribution of stock exchange. They had been their in Moscow a few years after the Zordans, and their predominance in the stock was second to none. Some of the people who came to trade with them were mostly foreigners, and it seemed as though they had taken over the stock market entirely, especially since Tiara took over from her father after years of studying abroad. Hudderson went into the Gusev company building together with Tiara while her bodyguards followed behind them, making sure that the distance between them was small. Tiara couldn't stop staring at Hudderson while they strode along the hallway, and when he realized that she wasn’t going to stop gawking at him, paying no mind on the way, he decided to speak up at once. “Do you mind? You are actually making this really awkward for me.” Hudderson
