Taron gasped as soon as he heard Lydia's words.

He turned to Hudderson, sweating profusely.

Then he went down on his knees, not minding the pain from the loud impact with the floor. “I am so sorry, Supreme Ruler! I am so sorry! I didn’t know!” Tears were welled up in his eyes, and he began to sweat all over his body.

Hudderson looked down at him, holding onto his wry smile.

Then he sighed heavily. “Get up.” He commanded, and Taron obeyed at once, panting heavily.

The sweat all over his body was still running, streaming down.

Then he wet his pants, gulping down hardly.

“I will do anything you want, Supreme Ruler! Anything at all!” He said with a distraught tone, recalling everything he had said to Hudderson.

“Hmm.” Hudderson scoffed, and then he nodded.

“I just need fuel, Taron. Take me to this refinery you speak of.”

“At once!” Taron made a move, leading the way out of the mansion.

Before Hudderson left, he turned to Lydia and stared at her with annoyance burning in his eyes.

“Let go of me, silly!” Darius pushed Taron aside, breaking free from his grip. “What has suddenly come over you?!” He asked, glaring at Taron while he fumed angrily.Taron glanced at Hudderson, and seeing that he was getting ready to beat up the men, he gasped, returning his gaze to Darius at once. “You are making a very terrible mistake, Darius. I think you should tell the men to stop!” He attempted to move toward the men, but Darius pushed him aside, lifting his balled fist like he was about to throw a punch. “You are no longer in charge, Taron! I am in charge now, and you should start getting used to it.” He had his eyes on Taron, thinking that he was going to fight him, but to his surprise, Taron didn’t seem to be in the mood for a fight. He inched closer to him, and with a trembling voice, he declared. “That’s the Supreme Ruler, Darius. You are making a very terrible mistake. Darius arched his brows, looking like he was about to believe what Taron said until a thought hit h

Taron gasped as soon as he saw this, turning to the Supreme Ruler whose anger was burning like magma."What have you done?” He muttered, his heart sinking into his belly. He couldn’t look at Hudderson, his eyes were just focused on the men who were ignorant of the fact that Hudderson was standing by the corner, watching as they hammered his car parts and dragged out as many parts as they could.Taron marched forward, and grabbing one of the men by the neck, he snatched the steering wheel he was holding from him and growled at him, panting heavily.“What’s the meaning of this?! Have you lost your senses?!”This left everyone speechless, and while they stopped everything they were doing, they turned to Taron, some of them dropping the objects they were holding. Taron turned to Hudderson, and when he saw his increasing rage, he swallowed hard, unable to find his composure.“Who instructed to destroy this car?!” He asked, looking around him.He was angry and scared at the same time, his

“Mog City, you say?” She inquired, and Hudderson nodded. “Yes, Lydia. I came all the way from Mog City, and I would be very grateful if you would be kind enough to help,”“Of course!” Lydia nodded, and all of a sudden, the nervous look on her face vanished.“I will be very glad to help you, Hudderson. That’s not a big deal. You shall have enough fuel to continue your journey, and I don’t mind giving you some extra just to make sure that you don’t get stranded on your way back to your city.”Hudderson nodded. “Thank you.” He whispered, and even though he forced a smile, it was very obvious in his eyes that he didn’t trust Lydia. There was something off about her smile, and even though he couldn’t figure it out yet, he was still reminded that she seemed a bit nervous at the mention of Mog City. Lydia cleared her throat, her body language indicating that she was trying to hide her true feelings.“I have heard so much about Mog City, Hudderson. I have heard about your vast economy, the

They had the same tattoos and shared the same apprehension as the first two Hudderson saw. But he didn’t seem so much interested in them, his main focus was on the reason why he had agreed to go into that mansion. “Where is Argon?” He asked even though it had become very obvious that the ladies were not going to say even a word to him no matter how much he tried to get them to speak. “Can I see Argon now?!” He was gradually getting pissed, but even with his grunt and his fierce stare, the ladies didn’t look like they were going to oblige him.Their eyes were all looking at the floor, their fingers slowly quivering.Hudderson decided that he was no longer going to speak to them, realizing that it was very pointless. Slowly, he looked ahead, and when he saw the entrance at the end of the hallway, he decided to saunter toward it. At first, he thought that the two guards ahead were going to stop him, but they didn’t even bother to look at him. They just stood still, holding onto thei

CHAPTER NINETY-FOUR Ten minutes were passed, but Hudderson was yet to come out of his car. He remained silent, looking around and completely unbothered by the number of men who had surrounded him. About twenty more had come out from different corners, holding onto so many things that looked like weapons. Hudderson was silent, composed, and cautious, his eyes hawking from one corner to the other.Even though everything he could see read signs of danger, he didn’t feel threatened. He had not seen anything that was supposed to make him worried, his eyes moving to the entrance of the building. A few minutes later, the leader of the bikers tapped on his window, and he turned to look at him.The man gestured to Hudderson to roll down his glass, and he hesitated for a while before he reluctantly pushed the button beside him. “Come down.” The man instructed, his countenance displaying command even though his voice sounded calm. Hudderson stared at him for a while, and then he took a de
