Kaelen’s fingers closed around the silver spatial ring.
Instantly, a violent surge of crimson mana spiked from the metal, shooting directly up his arm. The curse was designed to seek out a mage’s mana core, overload it, and blow the thief to bloody pieces.
Kaelen just stood there. He didn't even blink.
The crimson mana rushed into his chest, frantically searching for a core to detonate. It found absolutely nothing. Just solid, absurdly dense muscle.
[Ding! High-Tier Mana Detonation Curse triggered.]
[Error: Target has 0% Mana. Curse activation failed.]
[Initiating 'Abyssal Devour'. Absorbing residual curse energy...]
The deadly magical trap was instantly swallowed by the black anvil in his mind.
Kaelen exhaled a breath of hot air as his physical strength ticked up another fraction. "A curse that kills mages is just a protein shake for a Null," he chuckled darkly.
He slipped the ring onto his finger and forced a drop of his blood onto the silver band, bypassing the dead noble's magical lock with brute-force physical binding.
His consciousness entered the spatial storage.
It was massive. Inside, he found heaps of low-grade gold coins, dozens of broken, highly-volatile mana crystals, and an assortment of rusted knight armor. To a normal person, the broken crystals were deadly trash. To Kaelen, it was a five-star buffet for his System.
But what caught his eye wasn't the gold or the magical garbage. It was a black, leather-bound book resting on a velvet pedestal.
Kaelen pulled the book out. He flipped it open.
It was a ledger. And it didn't belong to just any noble. It belonged to Lord Alistair Vance—Cedric's uncle, the Head of the Royal Treasury.
Kaelen’s eyes scanned the pages. His dark smile grew wider and more terrifying with every line he read.
"Unbelievable," Kaelen whispered, his voice dripping with venomous joy.
The ledger detailed a decade of massive corruption. House Vance hadn't just been embezzling funds from the Royal Magic Academy; they had been secretly smuggling forbidden cursed artifacts to the underground rebel factions. Cedric’s uncle was playing both sides, hoarding a fortune while plotting treason against the Crown.
If the Royal Inquisitors saw this book, House Vance wouldn't just be stripped of their noble titles. Every man, woman, and child sharing their bloodline would be executed for high treason.
Kaelen snapped the book shut.
A few hours ago, as he fell into the abyss, his only thought was to climb back up and crush Cedric's skull.
Now? That felt far too cheap. Killing Cedric would just make him a martyr.
"You threw me into the trash because you thought I was worthless, Cedric," Kaelen looked up at the towering, jagged cliffs of the Ravine. "I'm not going to just kill you. I'm going to bankrupt your family. I'm going to take your wealth, your pride, and your magic. I will make you watch as your entire legacy burns to ash."
[Ding! Host's intent aligns with the Titan Forge.]
[New Main Quest Triggered: The Fall of House Vance.]
[Reward: Unknown. Penalty for failure: None. You are already at the bottom.]
"Not for long," Kaelen replied.
He unsummoned the ledger back into the spatial ring. He reached down and grabbed the hilt of the 800-pound Obsidian Slab, effortlessly resting the massive, brutal weapon across his broad shoulders.
He walked over to the sheer, vertical rock face of the Ravine. Mages needed levitation spells to get out of here. Kaelen just had his bare hands.
He punched his free hand directly into the solid rock, his fingers piercing the stone like it was wet mud.
CRACK.
With the heavy black slab on his back and eyes burning with a sovereign's ambition, Kaelen began his ascent.
The Null was coming back to the surface. And he was bringing the abyss with him.

Their eyes bulged, locked onto the magicless "Null" standing in the epicenter.Kaelen slowly lowered his fist. He didn't have a single scratch on his knuckles. He hadn't even felt the impact."My badge," Kaelen demanded. His voice was flat, cutting through the silence like a rusted saw.The receptionist behind the counter was violently trembling. She looked at the pulverized remains of the crystal, then back to Kaelen."B-But... that crystal could withstand a Tier-4 Siege Spell!" she stammered, pale as a ghost. "You... you have zero mana!""I don't need mana to break things," Kaelen replied. He took a heavy step forward. His steel-toed boots crunched loudly on the crystal dust.
Chapter 14: The Weight of a Badge
The Ironblood Mercenary Guild was a massive, fortress-like building located in the chaotic Outer Ring of the Royal Capital. It was filled with scars, cheap ale, and dangerous men.Mages rarely came here. This was a place for warriors, berserkers, and rogues who lived and died by the sword.Kaelen walked through the massive iron double doors. The guild hall was deafeningly loud. Hundreds of heavily armed mercenaries were drinking, arguing over bounties, and arm-wrestling for gold. When Kaelen entered, a few heads turned. He was wearing a simple black tunic, but his terrifyingly muscular physique and the massive, canvas-wrapped pillar strapped to his back demanded attention. He ignored the stares and walked directly to the reception desk.Behind the enchanted glass counter stood a scarred, veteran receptionist named Elara. She looked up from her paperwork, her sharp eyes scanning Kaelen."Can I help you, giant?" Elara asked, her voice raspy."I want to register as a Mercenary," Kaelen s
Chapter 13: The Fallen Star Vault
Silence returned to the entrance of the Vance Mine.Kaelen stood amidst the cratered earth and pulverized stone. He wasn't breathing heavily. Swinging a 2,500-pound slab of iron felt like swinging a wooden practice sword. His Titan Body was a masterpiece of biological engineering.[Ding! Defeated 3x Tier-3 Elite Mages.][Absorbing residual high-density mana...][Purifying...][Titan Body Progression: 5/100 (Stage 2).]Kaelen frowned slightly. "Only five points? Three elite Inner Court mages, and that's all the energy they gave me?"[System Note: As the Titan Body advances to Stage 2, low-level human mana cores yield diminishing returns. The Host requires higher-density corrupted materials, cursed artifacts, or ancient beast cores to progress efficiently.]"Picky eater," Kaelen smirked. He walked over to the bloody remains of Vane, the Lightning Mage. Like all arrogant nobles, Vane wore his wealth on his fingers. A gleaming gold spatial ring was still intact.Kaelen grabbed it, letting
Chapter 12: A Ton of Violence
The three elite mages of the Royal Inner Court stood at the entrance of the mine, their pristine white robes fluttering in the wind. They looked at Kaelen, who was covered in dirt, wearing a ragged black tunic, and dragging a massive piece of unrefined iron.To them, he looked like a feral beast."You're the Null?" The leader, a Tier-3 Lightning Mage named Vane, scoffed in absolute disgust. "Lord Alistair gave this mine to a magicless peasant? House Vance has truly fallen."Kaelen didn't stop walking. The 2,500-pound Obsidian Slab scraped against the stone floor. SCREECH. It left a deep, pulverized trench in the solid rock with every step."The mine is mine," Kaelen said, his golden eyes locking onto the three mages. "Get off my property."The second mage, a massive man attuned to Earth Magic, burst out laughing. "A peasant giving orders to the Inner Court! Vane, let me crush this insect. It will only take a second.""Make it quick, Boros," Vane sighed, checking his pristine fingernai

CRASH!The impenetrable wall of granite didn't just break; it completely exploded inward.Kaelen walked through the cloud of dust and pulverized stone.Behind the collapsed wall was a massive, hidden subterranean cavern. The heat inside was astronomical. In the center of the cavern, protruding from the earth like the spine of a sleeping god, was a thick vein of dark crimson metal. It pulsed like a living heart. The sheer physical gravity of the ore was so intense that the air around it was visibly warping.[Ding! Primordial Titan Marrow confirmed.][Warning: The raw physical energy of this material is incredibly volatile. If absorbed incorrectly, the host's body will explode.]"Explode?" Kaelen chuckled, walking straight toward the crimson vein. "I survived the Slag Pit. The Null who crushed magic with a block of iron was the only thing the nobles were talking about. But Kaelen didn't care about the gossip. He cared about resources. Two hours after the assembly, Kaelen stood at the entrance of the largest Vance Mana Crystal Mine, located in the jagged mountains outside the city. The 800-pound Obsidian Slab was strapped to his back, casting a long, terrifying shadow. The Mine Overseer, a fat, balding mage named Garek, stood at the entrance, wiping sweat from his forehead. He had already heard what Kaelen did to Lord Alistair."W-Welcome, Lord Kaelen!" Garek bowed so low his stomach touched his knees. "The transfer papers are verified. This mine is completely yours. However...""However what?" Kaelen’s voice was flat and cold.Garek swallowed hard. "Well, my Lord... Lord Alistair played a trick on you. This is technically the largest mine, yes
