ATHENA’S POV

“Are you sure of what you are saying?” I asked Blake, unable to believe what he just said.

“Would I be lying to you?” He asked me.

“But how is that possible?” I asked myself in confusion.

I only recently found out about Lord Dante’s marriage to Nesse, and even at that, I never mentioned it to anyone else. I didn’t even confront Lord Dante with it, so how did Belle find out about it?

“Who could have told her?” I asked out loud.

My heart was beating really fast because Lord Dante’s secret was spreading faster than bad news, and I doubted that he even knew anything about it. Instead, he was focusing on the wrong things and pointing the accusations to the wrong person.

“Do you think it was Hades?” I asked further.

Blake didn’t seem bothered about the news, and maybe that was why he wasn’t answering any of my questions. He meant it when he said he wanted to get some rest, and even though he wasn’t exactly getting that, he was relaxed.
