The morning rain had tapered off into a thick, gray fog hanging over the glass skyscrapers of the financial district. At 7:45 AM, the massive matte-black armored G-63 pulled smoothly into the VIP executive parking space directly in front of the Cole Logistics headquarters.

Caleb cut the engine. The quiet rumble of the twin-turbo V8 died down, leaving only the soft hum of the city outside.

He sat in the driver's seat for a brief moment, adjusting his dark silk tie in the rearview mirror. His dark charcoal cashmere suit was crisp, untouched by the morning humidity. He reached into his inner pocket and pulled out his cracked phone. One tap opened his bank app: $78,100,012.45.

A low, calm breath filled his chest. The lingering phantom aches from two years of grueling physical labor and verbal abuse had completely vanished, replaced by an imposing physical presence and razor-sharp clarity.

He unlatched the heavy, armored door and stepped out onto the granite plaza.

Inside the grand marble lobby of Cole Logistics, security guards and corporate employees rushed around with coffee cups and stacks of folders. Nobody spared Caleb a second glance as he walked toward the private executive elevators; his immaculate tailored suit and effortless posture radiated the aura of an elite high-level investor.

He pressed the button for the 30th floor—the Executive Suite.

When the gold-trimmed elevator doors slid open on the top floor, the atmosphere was thick with tension. Staff members were frantically running between offices carrying emergency audit reports.

At the end of the corridor, through the frosted glass walls of the main boardroom, Caleb could see two familiar figures sitting at the head of the long conference table: Julian Cole and Arthur Vance.

Julian was dressed in a navy designer suit, reclining comfortably with a smirk on his face as he twirled a gold pen. Arthur sat beside him, looking smugger than he had in months, signing a stack of legal documents. On the far side of the table sat Chloe, looking elegant in a cream tailored dress, sipping a caramel latte without a care in the world.

"It's a done deal, Arthur," Julian was chuckling loudly, his voice carrying through the cracked boardroom door. "Once we finalize the takeover of the Vance Group's remaining logistics debt today, your family business is fully integrated into Cole Logistics. We'll control forty percent of the city's supply chain by noon."

"I can't thank you enough, Julian," Arthur said, signing his name with a flourish. "If it weren't for your cash injection, that useless delivery boy Caleb would have dragged my family's name through the mud with his incompetence."

"Don't mention that broke dog's name on a good morning, Dad," Chloe chimed in, setting her coffee cup down with a light tap. "He's probably crying at his sister's bedside right now, trying to figure out how to pay this week's hospital bill."

Julian let out a loud, mocking laugh that echoed into the hallway. "Maybe I'll hire him back as a warehouse box-packer out of pity! Ten dollars an hour!"

Caleb stood in the doorway, listening to every single word. His face remained completely expressionless, but a cold, sharp glint flared deep in his eyes.

Ding.

Caleb didn't knock. He simply reached out, pushed open the double glass doors, and stepped into the boardroom.

The sudden click of the door latch made everyone turn around.

Julian’s laughter cut off mid-breath. Arthur’s pen froze inches above the paper. Chloe’s eyes went wide as her latte cup nearly slipped from her hand.

For five full seconds, the room fell dead silent.

Caleb walked smoothly toward the center of the room, his leather Oxfords clicking softly against the hardwood floor. He pulled out the heavy leather executive chair right at the foot of the table—directly opposite Julian—and sat down, crossing one leg over the other.

"Caleb?!" Chloe gasped, her voice shrill with utter disbelief. She blinked frantically, staring at his tailored cashmere suit, his pristine white shirt, and his calm, immaculate posture. "What... what are you doing here?! How did you even get past security downstairs?!"

"Caleb?" Arthur barked, his face turning bright red as he slammed his hand onto the table. "Have you lost your mind?! This is an emergency board meeting for Cole Logistics! Get your worthless ass out of here before I have security throw you in jail for trespassing!"

Julian recovered from his initial shock, his expression twisting into a sneer as he stood up, leaning over the table. "Well, well. Look who borrowed a nice suit to play pretend. Did you spend your fifty-dollar tip on a rental tuxedo, broke boy? Get out of my building before I beat you within an inch of your life."

[Ding!] [Rage & Contempt Detected from Target: Julian Cole.] [Received: +800 System Points!]

Caleb didn't flinch. He slowly leaned back in his leather chair, resting his hands lightly on the mahogany armrests. He looked at Julian, then at Arthur, and finally at Chloe, whose eyes were scanning his suit in bewildered confusion.

"You're five minutes late for the emergency board meeting, Julian," Caleb said smoothly, his voice quiet, deep, and carrying an overwhelming authority that silenced the room. "And you're sitting in the wrong chair."

Julian scoffed, letting out a harsh bark of laughter. "What the hell are you talking about, you lunatic? This is my company! My father built Cole Logistics!"

Right on cue, the boardroom door swung open again.

A sharp-looking man in his fifties wearing a silver-gray suit walked in, carrying a thick leather briefcase. Behind him were two armed security officers and three senior legal partners from Vanguard Legal—the most feared corporate law firm in the country.

Julian’s smirk faltered slightly when he recognized the lead attorney. "Mr. Sterling? What is Vanguard Legal doing here? I didn't retain your firm for this merger."

Mr. Sterling didn't even glance at Julian. He walked straight past him, bowed respectfully toward Caleb, and laid a thick stack of gold-sealed legal documents directly in front of Caleb on the table.

"Good morning, Mr. Vance," Mr. Sterling said formally, his voice echoing through the silent room. "As of 11:00 PM last night, 100% of the voting equity and debt assets of Cole Logistics were fully transferred to your primary trust. The SEC filings have been cleared, and the board has been officially dissolved."

Arthur stared at the attorney, his jaw dropping open. "W-what?! What did you just say?!"

Julian’s face went completely pale, his hands trembling as he grabbed the top legal document from the pile. His eyes frantically scanned the bold, black print:

NOTICE OF ABSOLUTE ACQUISITION & EQUITY TRANSFER PRIMARY BENEFICIARY: CALEB VANCE STAKE: 100% EXCLUSIVE OWNERSHIP

"No... no, no, no! This is a mistake! This is a fraud!" Julian screamed, his voice cracking in sheer panic as he tore through the pages. "My father would never sell! Where is my father?!"

"Your father's gambling debt and offshore liabilities were liquidated by First Capital Bank at midnight," Mr. Sterling replied coldly, pulling a tablet from his briefcase. "Mr. Caleb Vance purchased the entirety of your family's debt for three hundred million dollars in cash. You no longer own a single share, Mr. Cole. You don't even own the desk you're leaning on."

Chloe stood up so fast her chair screeched loudly against the floor. She stared at Caleb as if he had turned into a ghost. "Caleb... three hundred million...? Cash?! Where... where did you get that kind of money?!"

Her mind was reeling, completely unable to process how the man she had kicked out into the rain twelve hours ago—the delivery guy she mocked for making four thousand dollars a month—was now standing at the absolute pinnacle of wealth and power.

Caleb slowly stood up from his chair. His formidable height and the aura of his God-Tier Martial Mastery made the air in the room feel heavy and suffocating.

He walked around the long mahogany table, stopping right beside Julian, who was shaking violently, clutching the table for support.

"Julian," Caleb said softly, leaning down slightly so his voice echoed in the playboy's ear. "Yesterday at dinner, you threw a fifty-dollar bill at my feet and told me to buy a bus ticket out of the city."

Caleb reached into his inner jacket pocket, pulled out a crisp, brand-new hundred-dollar bill, and casually tossed it onto the table right over the signed merger documents.

"Here's a hundred," Caleb whispered, a cold, sharp smile breaking across his face. "Take it, and clear out your office before I have my security throw you into the street."
