A couple of minutes later, the jet landed in the hangar and the trio, Jeremiah, Kingston, and his personal guard, Steven, went down.

A security detail and a convoy far greater than the one that had picked Jeremiah from his apartment had already been waiting for their arrival.

Everyone in the convoy greeted Kingston and when they were informed of who Jeremiah was, they went on their knees and did the usual greeting which Jeremiah accepted, and then told them to stand up.

After that, they all entered the cars and drove away.

The moment they got to the main roads and drove through populated areas, Jeremiah noticed that the people who saw the convoy all had happy expressions on their faces as they waved at the convoy. It was like they recognized the convoy, and who it belonged to, and were happy to see it pass by.

That sight made Jeremiah realize how loved his family must be to garner such reactions, because even the president of a country wouldn’t get such a magnanimous amount of love

Jeremiah walked in first, then she followed, leaving the door open while Jeremiah looked in awe at how wonderful the room was. “This is only a temporary arrangement. If I had been informed before your arrival, I would have pulled out all the stops to make sure you got an even bigger and better room, but please manage this young master,” Elizabeth said, and Jeremiah looked at her with shock.“What is it, young master?” She asked.Jeremiah chuckled.“If you knew where I am coming from, you wouldn’t have said what you just did. This room is amazing” Jeremiah said, and the headmaid blushed. “By the way, my name is Jeremiah. If you’re going to keep calling me Young Master, then you should at least know my actual name too,” Jeremiah said, as he walked deeper into the room to

Inside the laundry room where Lynette was busy steaming the suit she was given to prepare for Jeremiah’s meeting with his father, a bunch of maids came in and approached her. There were four of them, and they all looked relieved like they had been searching for her.“Is it true?” One of the maids asked.“Is what true?” Lynette replied, not taking a second’s break to give the maids around her attention as her focus remained on the task she was given.“You know what we’re talking about. That’s stuff. Is that stuff true?” The second maid asked.Lynette groaned in confusion.“I honestly have no idea what any of you guys are talking about, so unless you go ahead and spit it out, I’m going to remain clueless” Lynette retorted.“Come on, Lynette. Don’t start playing dumb with us now. We really want to know” said one of the maids as she grabbed Lynette’s hand that held the steamer.Because Lynette couldn’t continue steaming the suit thanks to the maid who held her hand, she finally stopped w

“Of course, headmaid. I assure you that I’ll be done very soon” Lynette said as she resumed steaming the suit. “Okay,” Elizabeth replied, then she looked at Lynette from head to toe for a few seconds, observing the girl closely, and then she helped fix her hair behind her ear. “Head maid?” Lynette said, surprised by the older woman’s sudden physical contact.“You’re a very beautiful girl. You know that, don’t you?” Elizabeth said, and Lynnette thanked her for the compliment.“I think the young master has taken a liking to you,” Elizabeth said, and Lynette jolted.“He what?” She said hurriedly as she turned to the head maid. Elizabeth smiled after seeing the young maid’s reaction, then she took her hands behind her back and clasped them.“Looks like hearing that makes you happy,” Elizabeth said, and Lynette blushed. “I apologize for what I’m about to say, headmaid, but what girl wouldn’t be happy to hear that someone like the young master has taken an interest in them?” Lynette ask

[“What is it, mister Jeremiah?”] “The thing is that I’m very busy with a certain task I’m handling right now, and I don’t have the chance to go to the hospital like I promised just yet,” Jeremiah said. [“Hmm, and how long are you thinking of taking before you come?”] “Honestly, I don’t know for now. Just know that if the moment when I’m chanced ever comes up, I’ll be there to do what I said I would,” Jeremiah replied. [“Mister Jeremiah, I hope you know that with each day you delay this, the more money you’ll have to spend to keep your mother’s body here, and I remember hearing you on multiple occasions complain about how money is an issue for you. What’s your wife’s opinion on this? As a matter of fact, isn’t she available to come get her in your stead?”] “Mary and I are no longer together, so like I said, I don’t have anyone to get my mom’s body from the hospital for me. He’s been waiting patiently for this very moment and finally, it has come. Are you ready?” Kingston asked.Jeremiah cleared his throat, freed his body, and nodded.“Yes, I’m ready” he replied and Kingston smirked.Kingston knocked on

Jeremiah looked at Kingston and his father, who were both on their knees, and he couldn’t believe that they were actually doing that. Those were two men he had great respect for, but there they were, lowering themselves to him like they saw him as someone far better than themselves. Why was that?He looked at the bodyguards that were on both sides of the wall and saw how they too were on their knees, bowing their heads to him, chanting “All hail Lord Crimson!” and only one thing came to mind. Who was this Lord Crimson person? It looked like they were chanting the phrase to him as a form of praise/worship, so does that mean that he was the Lord Crimson person? But how?He was Jeremiah, an unemployed twenty-five-year-old soon-to-be-divorcee whose mother died of a heart attack minutes after waking up from years of being in a coma, who also just found out that his father was the king of an entire kingdom, so are they saying that there was more to him than that?Jeremiah was getting over

At the far ends of the world, news of a dragon king with the power to bring prosperity to his people or cause havoc to his enemies started going rampant and the other kings who felt threatened couldn’t let such an entity exit. They bounded together and using the combined power of their mages, who used black magic and human sacrifices to increase their powers exponentially, they created a spell to seal Crimson in a prison his body could never escape from. The spell worked and just before the imprisonment could be completed, Crimson told his adoptive son, who was the descendant of the retainers/priests who took care of him as an egg for many generations, that he was going to be reborn again as that was the only way to escape the imprisonment spell. To be exact, the way to break the spell was with something of greater power and the only thing of greater power in Crimson’s arsenal was the energy used to trigger his reincarnation.Since reincarnation was basically a godly power that man

“What’s this?” Jeremiah asked as he stared at the ring in the box. “This, my Lord, is the power ring” Reginald replied. “The power ring? What’s that?” Jeremiah asked. “You see, after Lord Crimson imbued his essence into the first king to begin his reincarnation cycle, he focused all his power into one point and forged this ring so that one day when he finally returned, his power would be safely stored and ready to be taken back. Once you wear this, your power will gradually return to you. Your strength, speed, mysticism, and finally, your ability to transform into your original self, the mighty dragon who rules above all. The more of your power that you absorb from this ring the blacker it gets and when everything has been completely absorbed, the ring will break apart as you become whole again,” Reginald said, and Jeremiah groaned. He crossed his arms and looked at the ring, then he looked at his father, who believed everything he had just said even though it sounded extremely ri

One week later, Jeremiah leaned back against a cherry-red and gold Bugatti Veyron, the glint of the city lights dancing along its sleek curves. Her curls bounced as she descended the stairs, and Jeremiah couldn’t help but admire the moment like it was a scene from a movie.“Hurry up, we’re going to be late,” he said, a playful edge in his voice.“I’m coming!” she replied, hurrying her pace before she reached him—and planted a kiss on his lips that made the world pause for a second.“When’s he popping the question again?” she asked, at the same time telling him that maybe he was r

“The Leader?” Jeremiah asked with a grimace, the name tasting like ash on his tongue.“That’s right,” the being declared, his voice echoing like a god’s judgment through the twisted air. “I *am* the Leader—and this is my dimension. Here, I rule as supreme.”Jeremiah’s eyes narrowed. “And that name you called me—Bazar’q Omàrin? Why?”The Leader tilted his head slightly, a cruel smirk tugging at his lips. “Because that is your name. Not this watered-down nonsense—Crimson, Jeremiah—names handed to you by humans who never knew your truth. You were Bazar’q Omàrin, once the high sovereign of the mighty Oxyl Dimension... until it all turned to ash.”Jeremiah’s fists clenched as a dull pain throbbed in his temples. “And how do you know that? How do you know *me*?”The Leader's grin stretched, eyes flickering with malevolence. “Because, you banished me to hell!”With that roar of hatred, he surged forward in a blur, his fist crashing into Jeremiah’s ribs with the force of a meteor. ‘Where is he? The one who started all of this?’ Jeremiah’s thoughts were a storm as he tore through the sky in a vicious, high-speed duel against the nine-winged skeletal wyvern. His golden eyes flicked through the blood-red horizon, desperate to catch even a glimpse of Grey Lucian. Since the chaos began, Grey had vanished—eerily absent. The longer Jeremiah failed to find him, the more unease spread like rot in his gut.But the demonic wyvern wasn’t giving him the luxury of distraction.Every flap of the beast’s bony, mana-wrought wings whipped up cyclones of cursed wind. Each strike came fast, lethal, and relentless. Dodging them required all of Jeremiah’s focus—there was no room for error, no space to think about Grey, or even the cultists scattered across the battlefield, who were clearly summoning something catastrophic. The thick, malevolent mana surging from their positions felt like an omen of ruin. For just one heartbeat, Jeremiah’s mind slipped—and it was one too many. The w

The battlefield plunged into eerie silence. Even the screaming winds beneath the dome seemed to hold their breath.Jeremiah stood at the center of it all, his dragonoid form casting a monumental silhouette against the warped sky. His scales shimmered with hues of black, red, and gold, glowing like molten metal in the dome’s unnatural twilight. Wings unfurled behind him like the banners of a god of war, stretching high and wide, stirring the air with every twitch.Mages, scattered across the estate in strategic lines, froze. The resurrection magic that had reanimated their fallen held no expression, no breath—just cold bodies awaiting orders. All of them stared at him, at the beast who had tanked a god-killing spell and still stood.Jeremiah’s molten eyes locked onto the mages who had conjured the lightning-fire hybrid spell. There was no mercy in his gaze. Only retribution. He leapt forward. The impact of his takeoff split the ground behind him, sending fragments of earth skyward and

  • CHAPTER 331

The sky darkened unnaturally, casting an eerie twilight over the estate. Jeremiah looked up as the last arc of shadow joined with the rest, sealing them inside a massive black dome. It shimmered with power, humming low like a monstrous heartbeat. The siege had begun. He turned to Lynette. “It’s begun.”“Yes,” she said quietly, eyes locked on the sky. “It has.”Jeremiah glanced down at the box in his hand. Obadiah’s head, expression frozen in death, stared back at him. The man had been a teacher, a guide, a rock of wisdom. And now he was gone. Murdered.“I’m sorry this happened to you, teacher,” Jeremiah murmured, his voice a low promise. “But on your behalf, I’ll make those fuckers pay.”With grim reverence, he set the box down. Then he and Lynette walked toward the convoy, where confusion had begun to blossom into panic.A chorus of murmurs rose as everyone saw the sky had changed. The dome wasn’t just a covering — it was alive. Pulsing. Feeding something.“What the hell is this?” th

[“How? The gate is—“] the driver of the first car asked but went silent to his surprise the gate suddenly opened. [“But how?!”] the driver asked in a panic.Jeremiah had used wordless magic to unlock and open the gate.[“Don’t worry about it and just keep driving”] Steven interjected, stopping the driver beside him from thinking too much into what happened.Because this security detail was provided by the city of Bakers View and not of the Garrick Royal estate, they didn’t know about Jeremiah’s real identity as Lord Crimson or that magic existed. That was why Steven stopped the driver beside him from asking questions and just moved things along. [“Okay, Captain”] the driver reluctantly said and then hit the gas, leading the cars into the estate. All the while, the third car which hadn’t been connected through the channel didn’t know what was really going on. Second after second, the cars got closer to Jeremiah’s house and when they got there everything looked perfectly fine, surpr

Jeremiah weighed his options and came to a final decision on which path to take. “We should go back” he declared. “Go back? As in back to the house?” Reginald asked, an intrigued look on his face.“Yes, back to the house” Jeremiah replied matter-of-factly.“Why?” Reginald inquired.“Though I wish you weren’t here, I honestly feel better with you or should I say Lynette by my side rather than elsewhere where y’all can be attacked by who knows how many enemies, and she, for whatever reason, dies because remember, a single temporary death from hers means you’re gone, forever,” Jeremiah said and Reginald groaned as he reflected on every word.“Alright then. I guess we’re going back” Reginald replied. He then looked at the driver and said “Tell the front car that we’re going back to the apartment”“As you wish, Your Majesty” the driver replied, clearly not on board with the decision because he had picked up on signs of there being a problem and would prefer if they left the city— meanin

I came to this city to spend time with Jeremiah and I haven’t even done that. If we travel back so quickly it would mean that this trip was a complete letdown.” She said. Kingston groaned.“So what do you want to do, Lady Lynette?” Kingston asked “Being the young master’s fiancé, you’re just as influential as he is to those who know the truth. So much so that the artificial intelligence back at the house obeyed your instruction when it wouldn’t have for anyone else besides the young master” Lynette groaned, reflecting on Kingston’s question that asked her what she wanted to do.“Since you’ve already linked yourself and Master Reginald together, you’ve basically protected him from all forms of harm for the next thirty-nine years, so you don’t have to follow us back home if you don’t want to.
