Casually stepping out, Luo Xiang bid farewell to Luo Lan and Luo Jin.

"Mother, Grandfather... Xianger would like to say goodbye."

Luo Lan and Luo Jin both nodded in unison. Although it was difficult to let him go, they knew they couldn’t stop him from following his own path.

"Oh right, Mother... where can I find a large number of demonic beasts?" Luo Xiang asked, surprising Luo Lan.

"Are you joking, child?" Luo Lan asked in disbelief.

Putting on a pleading expression, Luo Xiang turned to his grandfather, who pretended not to see him.

"Grandpa..."

"Haah..." Luo Jin could only sigh deeply.

"Are you certain about this?"

Shen Luo Xiang simply nodded. Seeing his resolve, Luo Jin finally gave him a few options.

"In this Eternal Empire, there are two places you can go... One is the Demon Forest, the other is the Death Desert. To put it simply, it would be better if you choose the Death Desert."

"Why, Grandpa?"

"That area borders the Holy Bell Sect’s territory... If you're in danger, there’s a chance someone might help you. But the Demon Forest... it’s a hundred times more dangerous," Luo Jin explained seriously.

Luo Xiang seemed to be thinking. A moment later, a thought crossed his mind.

"I like dangerous places. They usually hold great secrets..." he whispered to himself.

"Grandpa, I choose the Demon Forest!"

Both of them widened their eyes in shock.

"Xianger, you have no cultivation—why would you choose such a dangerous place?"

"Grandpa..." Luo Xiang once again used his pitiful look.

Unable to resist, Luo Jin finally gave in. After all, Luo Xiang was one of his most precious treasures.

"Alright... but I will personally escort you."

Luo Lan, who wanted to protest, stopped herself. She knew her father would secretly protect Luo Xiang in the forest. Luo Xiang, hearing this, was also overjoyed.

"Thank you, Grandpa!"

Luo Jin nodded, then bid farewell to Luo Lan and prepared to take his grandson to the Demon Forest. Though reluctant, Luo Lan agreed after being reassured by her father.

"Child... this is your father’s spatial ring. Use it wisely."

"Yes, Mother!"

After placing the ring on his pinky, Luo Xiang and Luo Jin left the residence.

Whistle!

With a single whistle from Luo Jin, a Phoenix descended from the sky and flew toward them. Once mounted, the Tier-3 Sacred Beast carried them toward the Demon Forest.

"Grandpa... how long until we arrive?" Luo Xiang asked, breaking the silence.

"Hmm... about a week."

Luo Xiang nodded and began enjoying the beautiful view of the Eternal Empire below.

"Child... are you really going to fight Han Lu?" Luo Jin asked.

Luo Xiang nodded again, without meeting his grandfather’s concerned gaze.

"If you want to cancel it, I’ll take responsibility and deal with the Han Patriarch myself."

Luo Xiang shook his head. With his vast knowledge, as long as he had access to the right resources, surpassing the Dao Dan realm was no problem.

"There’s no need, Grandpa... I know my own limits."

"It’s true... his nature and behavior have completely changed," Luo Jin thought to himself.

After a week of flight, they finally arrived at the outskirts of the Demon Forest.

Kyiiiat!

The Phoenix screeched as it landed smoothly. Luo Jin handed Luo Xiang a soul jade.

"If you’re in danger, break this jade. I’ll come to help you, no matter what."

"Thank you, Grandpa." With confident steps, Luo Xiang slowly entered the eerie silence of the Demon Forest.

Deeper into the forest, with no cultivation, Luo Xiang sharpened his instincts. Danger was everywhere.

Swuuush!

He drew his father's sword from the spatial ring. His senses told him several demonic beasts were stalking him from the tall grass.

Swuuush! Swuuush!

Sure enough, two black-horned tigers lunged at him. Thanks to his honed instincts from his past as a God, Luo Xiang dodged the ambush with ease.

"Heh... You think you can kill me?" Luo Xiang mocked as he ran to mislead their movement.

Just as he hoped, the tigers chased after him.

But to their shock, the seemingly helpless prey turned around and slashed his sword.

Claang!

The sound of claws clashing against sword echoed. Though the strike failed, Luo Xiang ran again, using the same tactic to outmaneuver them.

This time, his slash was precise. One of the tigers missed its swipe, and in an instant:

Slaaash!

Its head rolled off its body.

The remaining tiger roared ferociously.

Roaaaarh!

"Damn it, quiet down!"

This time, Luo Xiang engaged it head-on. Displaying refined swordsmanship, he clashed with the beast.

From afar, Luo Jin watched, stunned by his grandson’s sword mastery. It looked like a sword master toying with prey.

"Is he really still the Luo Xiang I know?" he asked himself, rubbing his eyes.

Though he could kill the tiger easily, Luo Xiang dragged the fight out to train his body.

Sensing danger, the tiger tried to flee. But Luo Xiang anticipated the move and slashed its hind legs.

Slaaash! Slaaash!

Then, with one swift move, he took its head. He collected their soul pearls—training his body and gathering resources. His ultimate goal: to find an herb that could heal his broken dantian.

Soon after, he continued the hunt. Luo Jin was astonished to see his grandson take down five more beasts in such a short time.

"It seems there’s nothing to fear for now... And since when did Laner give him sword techniques that advanced?" Luo Jin wondered. Luo Clan had no sword style like what Luo Xiang was using.

Realizing who the informant was, Luo Xiang let out a soft chuckle. In his mind, the Star God had no reason to do something so foolish.Still, he felt grateful—because the information the Star God gave him marked the beginning of his journey back to godhood."Let’s go back..." This was evident from the close-combat training he had never done before—except with his teacher.A few days later, Bai had grown quite close to Hong Yi after some casual conversations. During a rest period while they were gathering Qi energy, Luo Xiang sensed several auras approaching."Can you feel it?" Bai asked, unfazed by the group that was about to stop right above them in the sky."Yeah... but I don't care either," Luo Xiang replied, glancing at Hong Yi who was trying to suppress the poisonous aura from her body."I expected this… You’re actually quite a genius to grasp what’s usually difficult for ordinary cultivators.”He looked at her proudly—until suddenly, his gaze was drawn upward after hearing a sharp screech from a silver-winged eagle above.“Fools who seek death never seem to run out...” Luo Xiang muttered.Swuuuush!
