"Sword God... Are you aware of your sins?"

A thunderous voice echoed from the highest authority in the Celestial Empire.

The one being judged was none other than Shen Luo Xiang, the revered Sword God. He was once respected and feared by the Gods, yet a grave mistake would soon cost him everything.

Now, Shen Luo Xiang stood silently, confused, unable to remember what he had done.

His face turned pale the moment he saw the lifeless body of his beloved, Shen Shi Shi, lying before him — a golden sword piercing directly through her heart.

"Your Majesty! It's obvious that he’s the culprit! What else is there to discuss?!" barked the Fire God, his face twisted with disdain.

"The Fire God is right... It wasn’t just Goddess Shi Shi. Even the elders of the Sword God Clan were victims of Shen Luo Xiang’s brutality!" the Poison God added.

"He has become a demon!" another deity shouted.

"Bastards! I would never do such a vile thing..."

"You damn fool! Are you still trying to justify yourself? The evidence of your crimes is clear! And besides, your father was killed by a Demon—so why did you go on a rampage and attack the other Gods?!"

The words of the Fire God struck Shen Luo Xiang deeply. A flicker of realization began to surface in his mind.

"But... none of this was under my control! Let alone killing the one I love..."

Before he could finish, the Fire God once again cut him off.

"Open your eyes and see the truth for yourself!"

The air trembled. Moments later, a giant mirror appeared before Shen Luo Xiang — the Heavenly Eye, a divine tool used by the Gods to witness past events.

The scene revealed what transpired during the mourning period of the Sword God Clan. Shen Luo Xiang had suddenly gone berserk, killing the elders around him.

Not only that — like a rampaging demon, he also attacked the Gods who had come to pay their respects at the funeral of his father, Shen Luo Jun.

The once-honored Sword God Clan turned into a bloodstained battlefield. Shen Luo Xiang, in his madness, defeated many Heavenly troops. It wasn’t until Shen Shi Shi appeared that the massacre ended — as she sacrificed herself to protect the Celestial Emperor.

"D-Damn it...!" Shen Luo Xiang muttered, lowering his head in despair.

"Isn’t it clear now?! Do you still wish to defend yourself?!" the Fire God snapped.

At last, the Celestial Emperor, who had remained silent, spoke:

"For the grave sins committed by the Sword God... Today, he shall be sentenced to death!"

As his words fell, the bright daylight darkened. Thunder rolled violently across the sky, as if the heavens themselves disapproved of the Emperor’s judgment. But Shen Luo Xiang’s crimes were deemed too severe — death was the only punishment.

A thin smirk curved at the corner of the Fire God's lips.

However, not all deities agreed. The Star God furrowed his brows. He believed something was off — that Shen Luo Xiang had been manipulated, and a deeper investigation should be carried out.

"But isn’t it possible that—"

"Are you conspiring with him as well, Star God?" the Fire God snapped.

The Star God clenched his jaw, refusing to answer.

"My decision is final!" declared the Celestial Emperor. "Sword God, choose your method of death!"

Shen Luo Xiang, after moments of silence, nodded solemnly. Despite his pain and confusion, he accepted his fate.

"The Divine Abyss Punishment!"

The hall erupted in shock.

"Has he gone mad?!"

"Damn it! He chose a punishment far worse than death itself!"

As chaos filled the hall, the Celestial Emperor raised his hand.

"Enough! Since he has chosen, I shall honor it. But first, I must inspect the Divine Abyss myself. After that, the Sword God’s execution will proceed immediately!"

"Fire God. Poison God. Take him to the Sky Prison and help prepare the punishment!"

"As you command, Your Majesty!" they answered in unison, escorting Shen Luo Xiang away.

At the Heavenly Prison...

"Sword God... Do you not realize? All of this was a trap I laid for you long ago."

As the chains of divine lightning bound him, the Fire God whispered the truth behind Shen Luo Xiang's confusion.

Shen Luo Xiang’s eyes widened in disbelief. His emotions exploded, making the entire prison tremble with his terrifying aura.

"Yes. It was me. I orchestrated everything. Now enjoy the punishment that awaits you... Hahahaha!"

A terrifying sword aura erupted from Shen Luo Xiang’s body as he struggled to break free. But his efforts were in vain — divine lightning struck him mercilessly.
