After a full day of exhausting running, Luo Xiang sat cross-legged in the courtyard of his own residence, inspecting the damage to his shattered dantian.

Meanwhile, Han Fei, bruised and beaten, had returned to his quarters. Ashamed of his defeat by Luo Xiang, the second young master of the Han Clan reported the incident to his older brother, Han Lu.

"Brother, aren’t you going to teach him a lesson?!" Han Fei protested, disappointed by his brother's indifference.

"Foolish brat. He can’t cultivate, so what are you so afraid of? And what happened to your face? You look like a pig," Han Lu said flatly, though clearly surprised.

A sly smile crept across Han Fei’s lips as he tried to provoke his brother further.

"Brother... he used poison powder to cheat. That’s the only reason he beat me!"

Han Lu's eyes narrowed. Though Han Fei was only at the early third-star Dao stage, even poison shouldn’t have left him this battered.

"Are you sure he cheated?" Han Lu’s voice turned cold.

Seeing that his provocation worked, Han Fei continued to fuel his brother’s anger.

After inspecting his ruined dantian, Luo Xiang sighed deeply. To heal it, he needed three rare ingredients, each unimaginably expensive—perhaps even costing a life to obtain.

"How am I supposed to find Divine Leaf Root, Heaven's Tear, and Eternal Ginseng in this continent?" Luo Xiang muttered.

As he despaired over the impossible ingredients, two figures appeared: Han Fei and Han Lu, along with their entourage, approaching Luo Xiang’s home.

"Trash! Look, I brought my brother! Are you ready to kneel and beg for forgiveness?!" Han Fei shouted arrogantly.

"Beg for forgiveness? You think I’d do that?" Luo Xiang replied, narrowing his eyes at Han Lu.

Why can’t I access this body's memories? Luo Xiang thought, puzzled.

"Do you remember how I crippled you once? Now that you’re healed, is that why you dared bully my little brother?" Han Lu asked, calm but with a piercing gaze.

"So, he’s the one who injured this body..." Luo Xiang muttered, becoming more alert.

"Why so silent? Are you scared I’ll cripple you again?" Han Lu mocked, his tone turning colder.

"Hahahaha... I hate being called trash. Even if you bring those moldy elders with you, I wouldn't hesitate to kill you all," Luo Xiang taunted.

"You bastard! You’re asking for death!"

Swuuuush!

Hot-tempered, Han Lu launched a qi-infused palm strike toward Luo Xiang. Just as Luo Xiang prepared to dodge, Luo Lan appeared and deflected the attack with a single finger.

Baaams!

The burst of qi energy spread through the courtyard as Luo Lan stood in front of her son.

"Are you alright, son?" she asked, then glared fiercely at the Han entourage.

"I’m fine, Mother," Luo Xiang replied.

She nodded but turned her sharp gaze toward the elders.

"Did you come to the Luo Clan just to bully my child?!" she said coldly.

"Tch! You rotten hag! If you have the guts, fight us! Stay out of the younger generation's business!"

One of the elders flew up and stopped just in front of Luo Lan. She smiled thinly.

Swuuuung!

"If you had come with good intentions, I would have welcomed you warmly. But now, I remember your young master once harmed my son! Leave. Now!"

A powerful energy surged from Luo Lan’s body. Sensing the Dao Ling fifth-star cultivation level, the Han elders shuddered.

"D-damn... Even together, we can’t defeat a Dao Ling expert!" one elder whispered.

"Tch! Useless trash..." Han Lu scoffed.

While the elders cowered before Luo Lan’s cultivation, Shen Luo Xiang grew concerned. If she used her Qi carelessly, the poison in her body could erupt.

"Mother, please calm down. I know my limits," Shen Luo Xiang whispered.

"Leave now! If I see any of you in Luo territory again, I’ll kill you myself," Luo Lan threatened.

"Tch! If the clan patriarch were here, would you still act so high and mighty?" Han Lu sneered before turning away.

Just as they were about to leave, Luo Xiang called out:

"Wait!"

Han Lu turned, a sly grin forming.

"Going to hide behind your mother again?" he mocked.

"HAHA! Of course not. I want to challenge you to a duel... one month from now!"

Han Lu and his group burst into laughter. Luo Lan, however, was alarmed.

"Are you kidding, son? You can’t even cultivate! Maybe you got lucky against Han Fei, but Han Lu is at the Dao Core fifth-star level!"

"Don’t worry, Mother."

"Fine! I accept your challenge! Come to the Han Clan. I’ll welcome you properly," Han Lu sneered.

"But remember—don’t expect to hide behind your mother during our fight."

Before Luo Xiang could respond, Luo Lan dragged him into the house.

Once inside the living room, she tried to reason with him.

"Are you sure about this, son?"

"Mother... I want to try. Please give me your blessing to train outside the clan."

"But with your condition..." Luo Lan hesitated.

Before she could continue, a familiar voice interrupted.

"Laner... If this is truly his wish, then fate will surely offer a path. Don’t worry."

"Father, but—"

Swuuuush!

An old man appeared, stroking his long beard. From his mysterious entrance, Luo Xiang was certain this grandfather was a powerful cultivator in the Heavenly Continent.

"Grandfather..." both Luo Xiang and Luo Lan greeted him.

"Enough. Sooner or later, Xiang’er must carry on your and his father's legacy. Will you really hold him back?" Luo Jin asked.

"Very well... I approve. Xiang’er, go prepare your things."

Luo Xiang nodded and returned to his room to pack.

As he finished, he overheard part of a conversation between his mother and grandfather.

"Grandfather, I still haven’t found any trace of Xiang’er’s father. Do you have any clues?"

"It may have been the Dark Army... but nothing is certain."

Luo Xiang was shocked. In his past life, the Dark Army had fought alongside the Sky Forces to destroy demons.

"Then the Luo Clan must be a powerful family. The original owner’s father must have been a respected figure..." Shen Luo Xiang thought. With no access to the original body’s memories, he knew he had much to learn on his journey.

"Tch... I can’t be selfish and chase only my revenge. I need to understand what this body’s purpose truly is..." he muttered, then stepped out of his room.

As for myself, I only ask to keep this Arhat Jade. You won’t object, will you?”The three demon elders exchanged glances, conversing telepathically. After a brief moment, they nodded in unison.“The Arhat Jade may be of use to us, but since young master desires it, we shall not contest.”Luo Xiang nodded again and handed the staff to Yin Qiyi. Observing the exchange, the Dragon God Ancestor furrowed his brows.“Why did you only ask for the Arhat Jade?” he asked via telepathy, puzzled.Luo Xiang gave a sly smile.“Good thing you asked through telepathy! Even Luo Xiang was forced to retreat, flying back toward Su Hua’s remnant soul.“He’s far too strong… If only the Goddess had left me more energy, I could have killed him in a single strike!” Su Hua exclaimed, making Luo Xiang understand.“I never expected Yin Han and Yin Wei to have reached the Divine Stage either,” added Yin Qiyi, as Yin Daihe and Yin Lang appeared at Luo Xiang’s side.Luo Xiang gave a faint smile. “Indeed, the Divine Stage can destroy an entire Empire with a single move. But that does not mean… they are without weakness.”“D-does young master have a solution? Right now, only Qiyi has stepped into the Divine Stage!”Nodding, Luo Xiang fixed his gaze on Yin Han and Y

“You are but a mere remnant soul, and you dare speak to me of life and death?!”“Y-you arrogant fool!”Swuuuuuung!A powerful aura erupted from Su Hua’s lingering soul. Though in the past Su Hua had known Luo Xiang well, this fragment of her soul—shaped into her familiar visage—carried no memory of her former life. Provoked by Luo Xiang’s words, the soul grew agitated and presented him with three questions, lines of tension appearing on Luo Xiang’s brow.“You do not possess blue blood. So how did you manage to survive in the Demon Realm?”“Ckckck! Is this your difficult question?” Luo Xiang mocked deliberately, testing the temperament of Su Hua’s soul fragment in return.“You are truly arrogant. But if you can answer all of my questions, then the star energy I left behind shall be yours!”Luo Xiang smirked faintly. “My purpose here is only to correct the demons’ delusion…”“Tch! Who are you to decide the actions of others? Are you a god, one who dares to pass judgment by your own will

Yin Daihe and the three other elders fell silent. Unknowingly, they swallowed hard at the same time.“Who is Luo Xiang’s true identity? To possess such a terrifying flame, he must have come from the Divine Realm. Or perhaps he is another god who deliberately split his soul to quell the chaos between realms?” Yin Daihe asked through telepathy, lowering his suspicion while questioning Luo Xiang’s origin.“I don’t know. For now, let us just follow his instructions. At present, only Yin Qiyi has reached the God stage. Aside from Qiyi, there is no one else. Even if we joined forces to kill him, that young man possesses a flame far too powerful. And remember—our greatest weakness is if our bodies come into contact with Heavenly Fire!” Yin Lang replied, shuddering in fear at the thought of Luo Xiang’s flame.Unlike the others, Yin Qiyi showed no fear. Now that he understood Luo Xiang’s identity, he asked about his plan, so that the four elders would know as well.“Young master, then do you h

Yin Qiyi gave a faint smile, though even she did not know where her sudden courage came from. One thing was certain—so long as she walked beside the Sword God, even if they dared to strike now, she would not remain silent.“Yin Daihe, am I not allowed to bring my companion here?” Yin Qiyi entered the grand hall without fear, Luo Xiang and Yin Ling following behind her.“He’s nothing but a crippled youth! What are you so proud of, you damned old hag?!” cursed Yin Lang, seated upon one of the seats of honor, his voice clearly displeased.Luo Xiang said nothing. Without waiting for approval from the four patriarchs, he calmly sat upon the empty chair that belonged to Yin Qiyi.“Senior, may I sit here?” Luo Xiang asked casually.“Hahaha! Even if you were to sit on the main throne, they still wouldn’t be able to forbid you!” Yin Qiyi replied with laughter, choosing to take another seat instead. The four patriarchs of the Spirit Clan narrowed their eyes. That title could only be spoken by a handful of the mightiest figures across the realms.Yin He, Yin Ling, and Yin Saosi quickly explained through telepathy, not wanting the Grand Elder to clash with the Sword God. Yin Qiyi’s eyes widened in shock—after all, the death of the Sword God had spread across the realms.“Do not toy with my grandchildren by pretending to be the Sword God… The Sword God was once an exalted deity in our eyes.
