A terrifying aura poured out from Callen's body. It wasn't his usual killing intent. This time, it was thicker and suffocating. The ground under his feet slowly cracked.

The wind suddenly stopped blowing. Chunks of wall and stones shook, then shot up into the air. Dark clouds began to gather over the mansion.

Landon's face turned deathly pale. He regretted saying that. He'd only wanted to shift Callen's anger from himself to Aeron.

Lois, Gavin, and Micah were also terrified by what was happening. Seeing this made them realize Callen's earlier anger was nothing compared to this.

Callen snapped out of it when he remembered Lily. Light returned to his eyes. The floating debris fell to the ground all at once.

The dark clouds faded away, and sunlight shone down again. Callen roughly wiped his face. He'd almost let his anger control him and destroy this place.

He didn't even want to imagine Lily getting hurt because of him. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
