"Alright, dear. Trust me, I won't let her cross her boundaries," Rex stated.

"Good, boy. Always strive hard to be a good boy," she teased, and Rex laughed.

"Sure, mummy," Rex responded jokingly.

"Goodbye; I'm in the office right now, and a visitor might come in at any time."

"No problem, dear, till we see again," Rex replied.

"Okay, but please remember our wedding is a few days from now; don't do me dirty, please," she pleaded, her voice so soft and cold that Rex could feel her emotions.

"Dear, worry no more. We're going to live together until nothing separates us. A mistake can't be repeated by a wise one," Rex affirmed to her, and the call ended.

He let out a deep breath of relaxation. Ava was not against his decision to take Cassandra on a date.

He went to the restroom and took his bath; however, he immediately tied back his towel after remembering he wasn't with his soap, which he just purchased recently, hence it was still in his room.
