Danny glanced at the table, but the electric shock didn't faze him. He didn't say anything either, standing up and heading towards the desk not far from the sofa.

Now, the only thing he could do was reveal his identity to the police. He knew that the uniformed officers were no fools; they must have a way to get the information they needed. The two officers would surely pepper him with questions until they found answers.

Officer Warren's colleague took the electric shock and approached Danny in case he tried to escape. Danny turned around and handed a velvet folder to the police.

"Please take a look, this is the handover letter of the president of Phoenix Crest Group, with my position, isn't it normal to stay in the president suite?" Danny asked as he handed over his business card.

The two police officers looked at the business card in front of them and the handover letter. The letter clearly stated Daniel Mark Lancaster as the president of Phoenix Crest Group, replacing Gerald Arthur Lancaster.

Officer Warren flipped through the business card Danny had given him. The Black Astrum Signature Card was a Swiss metal business card with a 30-carat diamond encrusted.

This card was estimated to cost around 1500 dollars per piece. Only the head of a large company with at least a hundred billion dollars in assets could own it.

Officer Warren's colleague looked back at the handover letter and the business card, then whispered, "You shouldn't be fooled. This contract could be fake. A thief like him could easily make a fake contract, and the business card could be found in this hotel area."

Officer Warren turned to his partner and nodded. He thought what his partner said made sense. But before everything was proven, he couldn't just accuse; there was a process to go through.

"Are you sure about what you just said?" asked Officer Warren.

Danny smiled, "Should you check back at the reception desk to find out who rented this room, if I'm not the tenant can you search this room, now?"

Both police officers were silent. The Presidential Suite had special access; not all guests could access the corridor. But this time, by following the man who was considered a thief by the Huxley family, they could do their job well.

"Oh, Sir, if this contract is genuine, can we find the data on the Top Dragon website?" the police officer asked.

Top Dragon was a business portal with company data, including officers and their backgrounds. It was also the most updated portal, so any information about the business world was there.

"Oh, please check at Top Dragon. I will wait here. While waiting, please enjoy what's available in the pantry. The larder and the mini bar are all fully stocked!" Danny tried to be polite and opened the door of the minibar.

While enjoying a bottled drink from the minibar, the two policemen began to check the Top Dragon portal. As soon as they typed in the word Phoenix Crest Group, the name of the company's new President, Daniel Mark Lancaster, appeared, along with the photo of the man in front of them.

The two police officers gasped for a while, but a moment later, Officer Warren coughed and said, "The data you showed me is already on Top Dragon's web portal. My question is, is it really safe from hackers?"

"Right, as technology evolves, so do attempts to tamper with it," Officer Warner's colleague added.

That's when Danny immediately smiled and let out a long breath. "Hmm, I'm actually not the type of person who likes to show off wealth. But until now there hasn't been a bright spot to clear my name, so I'm forced to show it."

Danny then opened one of the mobile banking apps on his phone and showed Officer Warner his account statement.

"This is one of my personal accounts. Please take a look at the transaction records as well as the balance of my account. Do you think that I am the one who stole the three million dollar painting," Danny said.

The two police officers saw that the account holder's name was the same as the one on the contract and that the remaining balance was $1,114,088,722. The transaction record clearly showed that he paid $200,000 for a presidential suite and a deposit at Pine Royal Resort.

'If this is one of his cards, it means he has more than a billion, maybe tens of billions. With that much wealth, it seems unlikely that he stole a three million dollar calligraphy painting to sell,' Officer Warner thought.

"Officer, it looks like the man in front of us has done nothing wrong. The balance in one of his accounts alone is over a billion, isn't this man not short of money? Even if he has a kleptomania problem, the painting should be here, but in fact we found nothing."

Danny still sat cross-legged, then nodded and smiled. "You seem to be thinking quite clearly. There's no point in me taking a treasure worth three million dollars and selling it. Now do you still think I'm the one who stole the painting?"

Both policemen shook their heads, bowed, and apologized. But suddenly, Officer Warner gasped as he realized something.

"Wait! It seems that this time we have both suspected the wrong person. Isn't the person who stole the painting named Danny Raphael, while this man has the last name Lancaster. Of course we can't find what we're looking for here!" exclaimed Officer Warren suddenly.

"But the person who reported the theft indicated that this man was the thief. If we're suspecting the wrong person, why do those two people insist on saying that this man is the culprit, and say that this man is a former son-in-law living in the Huxley family home? Aren't they both afraid of the Lancaster family's identity?" replied Officer Warren's colleague.

Danny smiled. "You're not wrong. When I married into the Huxley family I used the name Danny Raphael which was my late mother's last name. As they say, I am indeed the former daughter-in-law who lived in the Huxley house."

The two police officers couldn't understand what the man in front of them was saying. "I don't understand what you're saying? You're a billionaire, how could you possibly be a son-in-law living there? It's beyond reason!"

Tom clenched his fists tightly as he watched Laura move further away. The Huxley family's former son-in-law really annoyed him this time."Danny, watch out! "Fred, you must notify me as soon as the guest staying in the Presidential Suite leaves the hotel!"Until now, Tom still couldn't accept that Danny had rented the President's suite at Pine Royal Resort. He still thought Danny was a lousy person who didn't belong here.'Huh! You'll see, as soon as you get out of here I'll make you regret knowing me!' Tom mentally entered the elevator and left the hotel.A week later...It was Danny's last day to stay in the President's Suite. Danny took a long breath and began, "It was all arranged by my grandfather Robert Lancester as a form of maturation before I took up my duties as the sole heir of the Lancester family."The two policemen just kept quiet and nodded. They both knew that some rich people did have unusual habits. After saying this, Danny took a deep breath and said, "Sir, you have both heard a lot from me, and already know that I did not commit the theft as alleged. Now I ask that you both keep this a secret from anyone including the two men at the door!"The two policemen nodded. They had done Danny wrong. They had both offended the Lancester family, which could be bad for their careers."Sir, of course we will both keep this a secret. You have nothing to worry about." Officer Warren then paused for a moment and again said carefully. "Sir, we have both made a mistake and offended you. Is this all we need to do to keep you from reporting this to our commander?"Danny then laughed at the fear of the two o

Laura gasped in shock at Danny's behavior. During their three years of marriage, Danny had always shown his tenderness. But this time, he treated her like a stranger. But she didn't want to show this to Danny, or else she would make him big-headed! Laura stood up with her waist ruffled. "Huh! Then give me your room key! I'll find out the truth!"Danny chuckled, "What authority do you have to ask for my room key? Do you two want to borrow the room I rented to do something inappropriate?""Shut your mouth, Danny!" exclaimed Laura in a high tone."Huh!" Danny smiled faintly."Danny, you're not getting any more ignorant! Laura asked for your room key, because she wants to find something in your room. Just give her the key, if you didn't take the gift from Miss Bennet, then it shouldn't be a problem to show it to us," Tom added in support of Laura.Laura nodded, "Right, if you don't dare, then you really stole it. Now you'd better come with me to Grandma's!"Danny folded his arms across hi

I'm your firstborn son who will be the next in line, let me do it for you!" exclaimed Desmond.Grandmother nodded and looked back at Matthew, but the young man gasped and said in a slightly trembling voice.
