50. The Most Precious

'That's enough, there's no point in dwelling on the past with Laura. That story is in the past, and now it's time to deal with the hooligans in the Huxley household,' Danny thought as he reminded himself.

There was no point in thinking about Laura right now. His goal here was not to meet his ex-wife but to clear his name of theft charges.

Danny glanced back at Victor, who was now standing upright, holding his head, still sore from the impact. He also stepped closer to the man with a very sharp gaze.

After seeing what Danny did, Victor began to tremble. He staggered back, his face pale and his body trembling.

"What... what are you going to do?" asked Victor in a trembling voice. He was afraid that Danny would do something bad to him.

Victor walked further back, trying to escape Danny as soon as possible. But it was too late; Danny immediately grabbed his hand and pressed Victor's fingers until they made a crunching sound.
